Viaggiare at Palermo Airport

Pros: Nothing, they did not accepted my physical international driver license, and charge me more money to change the name of the booking. When we were there they receive two calls of cars failing and they did not any solution or any guidance to people that is tourist and is not aware of route services.

Cons: Nothing

Cons: Due to inconsistent information about collection times and booking times provide by discover, I had to pay additional fees for late pick up, as the "office" was was closed. This clearly wasn't the case, but as we didn't have any other option as or flight was delayed by 25 mins, this impacted the collecting time. They supported us in being there so we could collect our vehicle and we're responsive in communications prior to our arrival whilst we were slowly going through passport control.

Pros: The company what additional payment for signing a contract after 10 pm even tho we had reservations at 10 pm

Cons: They gave us a car (the second, because the first didnt have radio) with the engine light on, and even though they told us it was okay, the car didnt develop as it should and so we tried to change it the day after, but they didnt allow it and at some point simply stopped answering us when we asked what would happen if the car did break at some point. They gave us no sense of confidence at all. On top of that, the guy from the transfer was the rudest person we encounter during the whole trip.

Pros: NOTHING, absolutely terrible!

Cons: Everything. Terrible agent, no help, frustrating, and ultimately they would not give us a car because I had no international license. DO NOT RENT from these people, they will leave you out in the cold!

Cons: The rental facility isn't located at the airport but it requires a shuttle ride to get there. This is not necessarily a negative thing, but something to consider when planning your pickup-up and drop-off time according to your flight.

Pros: Car was fairly clean only thing I could really complain about is when I needed to clean the windscreen and no water , you would expect this would be one of the basic checks before the car goes out to a customer

Pros: The car was fairly new, having driven over 8,000 km (we got a Ford Tourneo instead of a Skoda Kamiq).

Cons: The site is not at the Palermo airport, it is transported by shuttle minibus. We were 4 persons, 2 persons took, the other 2 took to wait at the airport. Although the car is new, it rattled a lot. We told the representative, we went to the car service together. Didn't find the problem, let it go. We listened to the noise in the back of the car the whole trip. When the car was picked up, it was completely dusted.

Pros: Drop off was smooth. Workers were friendly.

Cons: Cars was dirty. Looks like they don't clean cars for long time, the amount dust was crazy. Car didn't have the mats and spare tire.

Cons: they are totally unserious, they have damage to the car that is not noted. and then they demand compensation from the customer. I videotaped the car when I picked it up. and then I noticed that they only changed their minds about the injuries gradually. unfortunately I missed filming the lower edge of the bumper. It was dark when I picked up the car. and then they claimed that the damage was not there when I picked it up. I would have noticed if I hit the bottom edge of the bumper.

Cons: Siedzonko dla dziecka nadaje się tylko do wyrzutu na śmietnik - nie powinni udostępniać takich siedzonek nawet za darmo (a co dopiero za prawie 50 euro). Siedzonko wydaje się mieć ze 30 lat, zapięcie jest zepsute, materiał siedzonka ściąga się samo, a co najgorsza - nie widomo jak takie siedzonko zamocować w aucie (nie ma absolutnie żadnych zabezpieczeń), a trzeba to było zrobić samemu, bo fotelik otrzymaliśmy w biurze.

Cons: You wouldn't know how far it actually is from the airport as it doesn't state that anywhere. I was not expecting another 15min car ride both ways and depending on yet another shuttle bus.

Pros: For a great price we got picked up from the airport, had an easy rentingprocess and a car in mint-condition to explore the island with. Could not have had a better experience!

Cons: They made us take out more insurance, they said what Discover covered wasn't adequate. At car pick up agent didn't walk us to the car or suggest we film the exterior for prior damage. The car was not washed. We had to wander through their lot trying to find the car. After turning it in at Catania and telling them we hadn't damaged the car they are going to charge us for damage we are responsible for. They have managed to triple the initial cost of the car rental.

Pros: Nothing. Rude customer service, not close to palermo airport at all, shuttle service had 12 people in an 8 seater vehicle for a 20 minute journey which isn’t safe. Collection took over an hour with no communication, other customers waited much longer.

Cons: disliked everything about the entire experience worst car hire ever.

Cons: A bit of a lot of computer work to get, and could be slow if other customers are there. Just give yourself enough time.

Pros: Viaggiare was pretty OK but the cost was not what the contract said. I had a problem finding the pick up point. I had to pay extra insurance becasue they did not accept anerican express or a debit card and was nearly unable to rent the car. I paid 2 lots of insurance and do not know where or who to contact to get reimbursed? WHere can I do that. I tried to phone discover on the day of rental and none of the phone numbers worked. I rang up the day before to ask for an upgrade.

Cons: THat they would not accept debit cards and I would have to take expensive insurance. Viaggiare was not able to give upgrades.

Pros: English speaking would be appreciated for desk agent.

Pros: fitst, took 45 minutes for the shuttle. Then 38 minutes to DRIVE to the rental car which was a trailer in an empty field in some small town. Then two inexperienced clerks told me I needed an IDP despite having rented in milan a week ago and NO PRIOR NOTICE given. Then the car I had to find baking in the sun covered in dust. The only thing half decent was returning it which I did a day early BECAUSE THEY ONLY OPEN AT 8 AND WOULD HAVE SURELY MISSED MY FLIGHT having to pay 150 euro extra in cabs.

Cons: everything. Im a travel journalist so its pretty difficult to give me a bad experience but this was disgusting

Cons: The service was horrible. The agents tricked me into getting the full coverage and charged me even though I didn't want it. They then wanted to charge me an extra day and told me I couldn't keep the car. Overall, it was the worst experience I've ever had renting a car. They were rude and are complete scammers.

Pros: Read all the fine print. You are better off renting from Sixt, Dollar, etc. Wasted two hours of my life waiting for a shuttle and then getting processed and I never got the car.

Cons: In two different places, there is fine print one which says international licenses are optional and the other where it says it’s required. There shouldn’t be two different messages.

And we don’t know that, because discover car doesn’t inform us. So I definitely will not rent car from discover cars in future.

Pros: Agents, new car,... The renting agency is not at the airport - a free shuttle takes you there. I think there should be a more clear note with the instructions.

Cons: The rented car was sold as in Terminal. I had to call de agency and wait for a shuttle bus. This is the second time I rent with Viaggiare. The second time the rented car "without any damages". Both times damages where found in the first inspection. (You have to make photo's and sent them to email or whatsapp account) Both times when returning the car Viaggiare clearly knew about the damages before. unfortunatly I forgot to take a foto of one damage and I had to pay 350€. So keep away.
