Target Rent at Palermo Airport

Pros: The price, but you get what you pay for.

Cons: Very laid back for check out and return. Took 20 minutes to just get someone at the counter.

Cons: The car was dirty and with a lot of damages. The personal in dropping the car was looking every damage and tell me about old damages, and I had to show the video that I did in the picking

Cons: There was no one there to meet us at the airport. When the rep eventually found us, the boot was already full and he wasn't able to take us. We had to call the company several times

Cons: We were charged an extra €45 euros because our flight was delayed

Pros: Che non ci hanno lasciato a piedi dall' aeroporto di Palermo, e che facendo un altro contratto con loro abbiamo avuto una macchina, anche se abbiamo perso la caparra con Voi

Cons: Che la macchina non era del livello che avevamo pattuito con Voi ma inferiore

Pros: Auto nuova e basso consumo di carburante

Cons: I vetri interni erano decisamente sporchi

Pros: They are appalling. Transit to and from airport haphazard and chaotic. Desk representative is the rudest most unpleasant person I have had to deal with for years

Cons: They are amateur shysters keen on scaring customers into buying extra insurance policies. Never use.

Pros: Nothing.

Cons: Car was not cleand. Shuttle was not clear to find, we looked around for 20min. They did not showed me the car and I had to sign damages without seeing it before.

Pros: Initially I thought they were good prices and reasonable service for an off airport Rental Company. The shuttle bus came quite fast and we only had to wait a few minutes for our car.

Cons: The problems started when we reported that the AC did not work a couple of hours after receiving the car. We had to wait 2 days before they said we could return it. Then after returning what I thought was a good car with only the AC broken I got a call a few hours later claiming that I had been in a big accident and not only damaged the AC but that the whole underneath of the car at the front was badly damaged. I categorically denied doing any such thing. They will send a bill!

Pros: The staff was very helpful and friendly at the desk The chauffeurs picking us up and dropping us up from and to the airport were very nice

Cons: Well, pushing about type of insurance you have to get is little anoying. I expect to pay 60euros for 5 days..paid 102. Its was hard to refuse.

Pros: They were quick to take us back to the airport from the car rental place.

Cons: The place you pick up the car is 15 mins drive from the airport. The car pick up site was on a piece of wasteland and you pick the car up from a porter cabin. Have hired cars all over the world, this was one of the worst experiences I’ve had to date. The staff were rude and unhelpful. Made us pay an extra €250 for insurance. The car itself was in very bad condition and couldn’t make it up any steep hills which was a bit of an issue in Sicily!

Cons: Car seat was appalling.

Pros: Very nice car (upgraded from what we paid for).

Cons: A lot of pressure to take their insurance, even though we had fully comprehensive insurance booked through Discover Cars. Also, when we had a medical emergency to the driver during the trip, getting in contact took almost 24 hours.

Pros: Good pick up and drop off from airport although it took a couple of phone calls to make sure they picked up. Generally friendly efficient service.

Cons: The location. The attempt to sell more insurance by reducing the amount of deposit. The fact that the deposit and rental cost had to be paid on the same card knowing that this would go over many people's credit limit. Asking people to sign the agreement before seeing the car. The lack of willingness to give a refund for the car being returned a day earlier saying that it wasn't their problem and to take it up with Discovery cars.

Pros: Totally shocking Customer service. Car was totally smashed up. Lots of other issues

Cons: Very bad attitude from the lady on reception

Cons: Target rent didn't honour our booking or the deposit that we had paid - the insurance that we also purchased through Discover Cars wasn't valid with Target Rental so we now need to contact DC for a refund of the amount that was originally charged. It doesn't make any sense to make a booking through Discover Cars - the staff at Target Rental were not understanding, apologetic nor helpful. Worst experience we've had with a car rental service throughout our entire European holiday.

Pros: Easy to Phone for the shuttle, quick checking in.

Cons: I was told that I needed an international driving permit else insurance purchased was not valid and I ended paying 135 euro extra for the rental

Pros: Car was ok but only 90%full even though the policy they had was full to full so we lost out

Cons: Cancelled reservation due to a 1.5hrs delay, had to pay 150 EUR extra. Pickup was far from the airport and shuttle came late, overall process of picking up the car was almost 2hrs.

Cons: 1. Office to pick car looked doggy and dirty room. Not professional. 2. Car given was dirty. 3. They could not drive us back to airport. And could not advise on best way to get there 4. No secure garage. We had to drop off the car and leave it on the street to go to airport. Car was our responsibility for almost 2 until office is open - unacceptable. They even did not call confirming car is taken. 5. They marked 1mm scratches and expect me to check dirty car of unmarked ones

Pros: The car got great gas mileage.

Cons: It took over an hour to get our car and their policy on full coverage insurance made me feel like I was being scammed.

Pros: The car model was what we had asked for.

Cons: Wait of pick up and uncleaned car

Pros: They contacted me when I arrived which was handy as the number on the Discover car confirmation did not work and we spent 30 minutes trying to get in touch with Target Rent and Discover cars. Once we got there they were nice and easy to deal with.

Cons: For the price we paid the car was not great. Air con was very basic only vents at front of van and van in poor condition.

Pros: Nothing, they were rude and tried to sell us more insurance when we picked the car up ... we declined as we already took full cover insurance when booked the car.... when we returned the car (only having used it twice) they said there was an extra mark on the car... clearly their agents didn’t mark it down and it felt like a big scam to get us to loose the rediculous deposit we had to put on our credit card (€1300) we repeated said we had not marked the car, however there was no reasoning.

Cons: Overall appalling for the reasons stated above.... felt like we had been well and truly scammed for not taking out this “extra” insurance .... I would never recommend this service and would like this to be looked into as a formal complaint as they wouldn’t tell us how much the damage (that we didn’t go) was....
