Athens was a typical city, although with great historical attractions. Very warm during the afternoon. Lovely beaches and tourist areas. Friendly people generally who can speak a little english.

athens itself has a good transportation system eg taxi,red bus,blue bus and metro driving in traffic can be stressful and parking can be a problem however the rest of greece can be quite pleasant
