Pros: Hybrid cars are easily available.

Cons: Limited hybrid car models and the car rental location is not easy to find.

Cons: The only thing was we were told to wait outside airport but not told to get onto a shuttle bus so waited for quite awhile before we realised

Cons: We didn’t realise we had booked through a 3rd party and it was confusing trying to find our pick up shuttle. Finally realised it was with Snap which I thought was some sort of scheduling tool at first. Also, the Snap staff couldn’t help me with insurance questions because again it was booked through a 3rd party (Discovery) but we thought it was with agent.

Cons: Due to lockdown had to drop off the car keys in a slot as the branch was unattended. Then found that I had been charged $39 for fuel for the car supposedly being not filled up with fuel. Car was full when I returned it but they sent a photo from the next morning saying it wasn't full. No reply to inquiry either. Poor.

Cons: I paid twice for insurance. I paid the Discover Cars AND I paid Snap Rentals or I would have to leave a $2000 deposit.

Cons: No explanation was given regarding the car being a hybrid in fact the young lady on the counter looked at me like I was stupid to know nothing about a hybrid car. Also road works in the area made it very difficult to find the office with detours in place.

Cons: Pickup was horrible. Waiting close to an hour to be picked up which involved 3 calls when the location of the car rental is only 10mins away. The driver that picked us up didn't even receive a notificaiton from the call centre but was only prompted when I used their webpage on pickup that triggered the driver to pick us up.

Cons: car wasn't full of fuel - returned it full but no compensation. I think it may have been different if it was the other way around. I could have returned it at the level it was marked at but thats difficult to do if you adding petrol to a car you don't know!

Cons: Not flexible with check in. Why does it have to be the credit card holder who picks up the car? Did not get a price reduction I had to reduce my booking by one day, $2000 security was excessive cf other companies. Tried to save time by checking in online the night before then had to REPEAT all actions at after hours depot. Snap Rentals is in the dark ages!

Pros: I found the staff to be friendly, helpful and efficient. They didn't have the model car I had ordered but they managed to clean, wash a returned car which was my preferred model. I didn't mind waiting.

Cons: On inspection of the vehicle it was heavily marked and scratched with some denta. I took numerous photos so that on return of the vehicle had proof that the damage was there prior to me. I was told I didn't need to take photos as they knew thw condition but I wasn't happy to accept that. The car could do with some repairs or replacing. The upside is they accepted the car on return without any issue.

Cons: Staff member went around the car and took photos of all dents etc. but we still worried about the car return process because there were quite a few dents but all was good staff were great. Hole in drivers floor mat was dangerous perhaps could have been checked a little more thoroughly before car was rented out.

Pros: The team were very friendly and helpful. I like the use of an electric van for collecting and drop-off of customers.

Cons: Just little things... no parcel tray in the boot meant my belongings could not be hidden in the car which is a temptation to thieves. The inside of the windscreen was smeared. A lovely lady spoke to me when I started the car... I don’t know Japanese so don’t know what she was saying. The radio had no Bluetooth unless that was in Japanese to.

Pros: The driver picking us up was excellent. Polite happy attitude obliging. The office woman was fantastic. We were not happy about a couple of issues and she corrected it straight away. Very professional and excellent customer service.

Cons: I am not sure if this is a fault of snap but we did not appreciate finding out out booking was through a 2nd party not direct with snap. The booking was deceiving because we paid for full endurance then once we arrived there was a $2,000 holding fee. We were not happy as this is not fair to your customers as renting with your firm on line is not transparent. At no time whilst booking does a big sign come up if you continue to book and pay full insurance you will be charged $2,000 holding fee.

Cons: Car wasn’t cleaned at all. Had a film of dust over the whole car. Cars registration was expired in April and we hired the car in July. Very pushy toward insurance and we had to pay a $2000 bond, then they didn’t want to come out and agree on existing damage when we got the car.
