Pros: great price, quick process once there to pick up and drop off.

Cons: It was a little difficult to get in touch at the airport not having a NZ Sim card and with airport internet not working well. Once I connected it was easy.

Cons: Charged $30 for return shuttle to the airport (5 min trip) at 4:30am when booking was made there was no mention of this “out of hours charge”. This “shuttle” was actually the car I had hired. Paid extra for Sat Nav, this was saying it had not been updated for 74 months! So caused me more issues than anything with the vast number of new roads in Auckland. explained I had no working mobile to the staff at Right Cars, but was told “you can call an Uber to get back to the airport, or I will charge!

Pros: Easy to get in contact with the agent, Raj to both pick up and drop off the car.

Cons: Car rented was very old--2006 model. Attempted to upgrade to a newer model for considerable cost increase. Follow-up from windscreen damage add'l charge has not happened as Raj indicated he would, so follow-up by me the renter is now needed.

Pros: The cost for a 7 week hire was good but not worth the bad experience. The age of the car (8 years) was of concern to us during the whole trip. We will be disputing the $150 charge for the stone chip.

Cons: Location was too remote and the representative changed his story about charges eg. cost of out of hours transfer to airport, went from $10 to $30.

Cons: On arrival there was no shuttle so my family waited at the airport while I went in a private car. The car was not ready so we waited an hour while the staff member cleaned it (I assume that is what they were doing). The vehicle got jittery at speed on the highway and had broken glass under one of the front seats. The GPS we hired was not updated. On returning the car the office was closed and there was no shuttle, despite confirming our arrangements by phone the day before.

Pros: Right car and right price

Cons: Petrol was only half full at pickup. The radio/entertainment system in the car was in Chinese and impossible to change (manual also in Chinese).

Pros: Raj was responsive to phone contact.

Cons: No one at office at 1 pm.

Pros: - The rep was very friendly. - Car was new and clean.

Cons: - I waited 45 minutes for pick up at airport. - I waited over almost an hour from dropping off car to getting a ride to airport because there was only one rep. - I was mistakenly charged USD $135.10 while it was confirmed upon returning the car by the rep that there would be no additional charge. Sent an email and ask for refund but I have not received any reply.

Pros: I liked that the car was not a new one. The person was relaxed and very friendly. To give the car back was really easy going. And he brougth us directly to the airport. All in all it was a good service.

Cons: I couldn't call the number from my german cellphone. But at the airport was a tourist information which called them so it was fine and they came to pick us up.

Pros: The staff was incredibly helpful and the car in great shape. Would use again.

Cons: The only challenge initially was that we needed to make a call to be picked up. But once we found each other, all was good.

Cons: Credit Card machine failed, took over an hour in the pick up process. Attendant was slow and unskilled.

Cons: Dirty car, mechanically unfit car, didn't do anything to go out of their way to make things right. Didn't even offer a refund or upgrade after bringing the broken car back.

Cons: scam. took the blockage deposit in our credit without notifying the reason. and everyone said that in their online review.

Cons: In the end, they were trying to charge us to clean the outside of the car, when that was not stated in the contract

Cons: You guys seriously need to put another person on this team. It's completely unacceptable to wait for over 30 minutes on each side of renting for just a shuttle.

Cons: Everything. Process was inefficient. Vehicle was not in driveable condition and replacement vehicle did not have enough fuel in it. He could not refund my money even though I was charged for an additional day. Highly disappointed.

Pros: Price I suppose - but wasn't worth it as I didn't trust the cars ability to get us from point A to B.

Cons: Hard to get ahold of them. Would call several times. Never got through to them before dropping off the car to ensure that we would have a ride to the airport for our flight. Nobody was at office or answering phone (during listed business hours) so we had to Uber to the airport. Car itself was quite old. Radio was broken. Windshield wipers needed replacing. Also a odd "pending" charge from RightCars on my visa.

Cons: Everything. Charged us for damages that were not ours, car was not in great shape and was just super weird (picking us up and driving us miles away in a shady area). never again!

Pros: When i arrived late for the pick up, the agent called me to check up on my being late. (this was mostly for reasons of him not wanting to stick around)

Cons: This is not a service at a standard for a western country, old, dirty vehicle, with high millage, dents and questionable road safety. The NZ government has been aiming to crack down on the services that use the cheap second hand imports from Japan as rentable vehicles, this operation has slipped their seep so far.

Pros: Staff was very friendly and understanding as we had to return the car early due to changed plans.

Cons: Car was in poor ish condition. Tires were basically flat, headlights didn't really work (which was very unsafe), and generally was just afraid it would break down on us.

Cons: I thought that it said complimentary shuttle to and from the airport, but it still cost $10 for Round trip service which was frustrating. But Raj was very helpful to pick me up early and bring me to the airport.

Cons: Old refurbished car in very bad conditions and dangerous to drive when raining. Car type not in line with what i requested. Agent tried to charge extra fees for airport transfer.

Cons: Car was dirty and didn't run very well. The employee did not provide a receipt even upon request and stated that I may or may not get one from the company. Was not able to answer my questions regarding the rental.

Pros: Only appreciated the value. Not the service.

Cons: The whole outfit felt a bit sketchy. Phone number was not listed correctly on the voucher, making them hard to track down upon pickup. The return was not the best. He was very suspicious of us. He really scrutinized the car even though we returned it in the exact same condition as we got it -- and the car was old to begin with. Finally, he tried to inform me that I returned the car late, when really I returned it 5 hours early. He admitted his mistake but he should know better.
