Once you get to the top floor, exit onto the street through door number 5. Once outside, turn right towards Terminal 3 and halfway you will see two large green and blue electric chargers on your left.
Cross the crosswalk in the direction of the chargers and you will reach the Meeting Point. Once there, wait for our shuttle to pick you up.
FROM T3:

Halfway you'll see two large green and blue electric chargers on your right.

Terminal 1: From the baggage claim point, reach one of the two elevators (5 or 9) located between arrivals A and B. Go down to floor –1 (Car Hire and Train Station). Once you reach the –1 floor, reach the second car rental hall through the sliding doors. After the sliding doors, you will find the OK Mobility office on your right.
Terminal 2: Once you reach Arrivals, follow the signs for: GET TO MILAN BY TRAIN. Exit the terminal and cross the pedestrian crossing. Follow the road following: AIRPORT BUS Terminal 1. Turn right and wait: SHUTTLE BUS T1-T2. Once you arrive at Terminal 1, go past the train ticket office. Go through the tunnel following the Car Hire direction. Driver's license requirements
- Italy recognises EU drivers licenses.
- Drivers from non-EU countries may use their home country licenses accompanied by an International Driving Permit (IDP) or official translation. You must obtain your IDP in your home country.
- After 1 year of being an Italian resident, you must obtain an Italian driver’s license, which includes a written and practical exam. Some countries have a reciprocal agreement (in which case you can get your Italian driver’s license without taking the written and practical exams).
- You must have your drivers license (and IDP, if required) with you at all times.
- Rental companies require drivers to be between 25 and 65 years of age, but some companies will allow younger or older drivers, often with a supplementary fee. In some cases, you may rent a car at age 19 or 20, but only a specific type of car (small). Most rental companies require drivers to be at least 21 (again, paying a supplement).
- Car rental agencies in Italy require you to have had your driver’s license for at least one year before the rental.
- Always check the rental contract terms and conditions for specific age and driver’s license requirements.
Crossing borders
Italy is bordered by France, Switzerland, Austria, and Slovenia, as well as San Marino and the Vatican City, two enclaves inside it. Like Italy, the countries of France, Switzerland, Austria, and Slovenia are all members of the Schengen Area, meaning that three entry requirements for these four countries are the same as for Italy. The microstates of San Marino and Vatican City are not members of the Schengen Area, but their entry requirements are the same as those for Italy.

We drove around Naples, visited Pompeii, trip to Sorrento, ride on Amalfi coast, trip to Capri island. All are amazing places to drive and visit. Be cautious about the aggressive driving style of the other riders and the parking costs which are very high.

We had 3 weeks in croatia area and 3 weeks in Italy returning the car to Venice. Each area specialized in different foods and history. Areas are beautiful. Recommend Korcula and Rovinj especially. Easy to book FREE tours of major areas. GPS really led us astray a lot and we discovered other tourists had the same problem. Watch out for bicycles, bikers, cars and pedestrians who seem like they have more right of way than cars. People are helpful when you get lost. Restaurants away from the main tourist area have the same food but at much lower prices. Get the local wine.

Having a car was great, we could see the whole region, smaller towns and nature spots, which wouldn't be possible otherwise. We were independent and driving in south Italy is not that bad. The only issue are bigger cities, horrible full of nervous moments - Bari, Lecce, Monopoli.
