USAVE at Auckland Airport

Pros: The ones we booked were not available, USAVE were able to offer an alternative options to pick to which made us all happy.

Cons: The car overall is excellent, it just that was not really cleaned properly.

Pros: Great pickup service but slow to get our vehicle ready for us.

Cons: Absolutely nothing at all. The van was covered in broken glass and the passenger side window didn't work.

Cons: Take my bond straight away, takes them 1 week to pur bond money bank into account. Didn't give me a discount when I returned car 3 days earlier. Didn't have vehicle that I ordered

Pros: I couldn't dropp the car off in time because of the lockdown. I sent a mail explaining the situation and the people have been very understanding and didn't charge me for extending the hire. They always reply to my mails. Very nice people indeed.

Pros: They were friendly, didn't get too pushy with extras and were helpful during extended rental through the Covid-19 situation

Cons: The car was a 2006 model, with only CD & Mini-disk, no aux, no GPS, no screen, i had to buy an FM transmitter & phone holder to get my own music/GPS.

Cons: We had to return our 1st car as had a major pulling to the left problem this should have been picked up b4 we got into the car We should have been upgrade for the issue as we had to return

Cons: The car left a lot to be desired. There was no bluetooth, and no cruise control. These things are standard in rental cars these days. At least I should have been informed about this at the time of booking.

Cons: I had to wait long time for a pickup from the airport. The agent charged me for the insurance I did not ask for and I had to wait for NZD600 to be refunded. The company was closed at the time of my morning flight and I had to walk to the terminal as no shuttle service was running. Not happy.

Cons: After I booked through Discover, I received multiple emails with different instructions on what to do when arriving at the airport. After calling Discover, I learned that the company that I would be renting from is actually the sister company USAVE.

Cons: The lady who checked us out was in a bad mood. Very abrupt and unfriendly (not rude) i was expecting a little more respectful farewell. Maybe she was having a bad day...sort if starting of a bad day. Maybe we expected too much compared to the super friendly welcome we got on arrival for pick up

Cons: Left waiting at the airport for shuttle bus for over 30 minutes. Kept waiting for car long after completing paperwork. Discovering petrol cap missing on first fill up (filling up was the reason we were given for the delay on pick up). Being told off by staff when pointing out missing petrol cap upon rental return (we'd have much preferred it if it wasn't missing in the first place).

Cons: I'd asked for a quick check in in advance as I had a bus load of kids waiting for me in front of their office. They were very long, seemed to be doing minor things rather than sorting me out and then were very long going through everything when I'd already sent things through beforehand to go fast.

Pros: Fast and efficient service. Friendly staff. Cost effective option over the holiday season.

Pros: The man that picked us up from the airport in the morning and then dropped us to our motel when we dropped car back is a credit to Hitch... He will be the reason we hire again in January

Cons: The after hours pick up was tricky and I had not been alerted to this potential problem. I had to figure this out for myself and fortunately was not left waiting at the airport. I needed to be told about this.
