RentalPlus at Olbia Airport

Pros: Nothing!

Cons: They were slow to pick up and then refused to bring me back to the terminal, as a solo female traveler with 2 suitcases. Beyond rude!

Pros: Easy pick-up and drop off and the car was clean and a good choice for our trip. Conditions of the agreement were clear and documents were sent to my email in an efficient manner.

Cons: Communication could have been better. A text-able and call-able Whatsapp number would be good to have as many international travelers cannot call to let them know about late arrivals.

Cons: Terrible service with flat Tyre. Gross overcharge for Tyre repair kit ie 295 euro & its 25 euro on Amazon. Cannot believe this is allowed.

Cons: flight was delayed and contacted them in advance to let them know. Theysaid as i was late the sytem automatically reallocated my car and they therefore did not keep the car I had paid for and made me up grade to the most expensivee car which was over double the cost of my original booking

Cons: see my message above.

Pros: Nothing.

Cons: They are rude people who showed no understanding when our plane was delayed by 1.5 hours. They did not send a van shuttle to collect us like other companies and due to issues with calling them from my iPhone, another company eventually took us to them. This meant we were 2 hours late for our collection and they claimed we were no longer entitled to a car despite pre-paying months in advance. Apparently this is stated in the terms and conditions which I had no knowledge of from Discover Cars.

Pros: Good larger car that we booked but we prefer a small reliable car in the island.

Cons: We were told ' no sands allowed and we'll get charged 20€-80€ if it's dirty' so we had to take our time for car wash and vac before returning that we never done that anywhere else before.

Pros: How new the car was

Cons: Terms and conditions ( they want the car to be clean as picked up )

Pros: n/a

Cons: The rental process was generally straightforward, but the return experience was disappointing. The staff seemed to look very closely for reasons to charge extra. We were charged a disproportionate cleaning fee because the car wasn't professionally washed and vacuumed, even though we had cleaned it thoroughly ourselves. We've rented cars many times and have never been expected to return a vehicle in a fully valeted condition. This felt unfair and left a negative impression.

Pros: Quality, price

Cons: One of the agents could've been nicer. He didn't want me to use the trash bin for my old luggage label?

Cons: The extra fee for customers 75 and over is not only unwarranted but excessive to say the least.

Pros: Good communication and immediate emails with clear courtesy pick-up instructions

Pros: Nothing

Cons: As previously stated

Pros: Great car friendly staff

Cons: I had to call twice for the pick up waited over half an hour

Pros: Very nice car and very smooth return. Friendly staff.

Cons: I would like the pickup to be faster, and I definitely do not like not having full to full on fuel and having to wash and vacuum clean the car before return.

Pros: Car

Cons: See above

Pros: Nothing , I’ve had better experience everywhere else

Cons: Asking to bring the car to the car wash is a joke form a rental company

Pros: Friendly, not pushy, decent car and good location.

Cons: Having to wash the car before returning. Thats a new one on me.

Pros: Excellent staff

Pros: Lovely gentleman that served us, no issues whatsoever with check-in/-out.

Cons: Additional cleaning fees.

Pros: The attendance of the lady on arrival.

Cons: Difficult to locate, need to call on arrival; again need to call for the return, need to look for the office. Some indication or instructions would make life much easier.

Pros: Nothing. Bought full insurance from them and needed road side assistance 2 km from airport. They told me 20 min then 1 Hr and 2.5 hrs later nothing. Missed my flight. No assistance and they would not let me take the keys to them

Cons: Nothing . Rip off. Sold me insurance that did not work 2.5 hrs nothing and missed flight

Pros: The staff were very friendly and understanding. My flight was delayed and they were very accommodating. The car was easy to drive and similar to what I ordered.

Cons: Only complaint would be it’s not clear how to get to the drop off area at Alghero airport. But the staff there was very friendly once we arrived.

Cons: Sneaky company using all tricks in the book avoid

Pros: Each member of the staff was personable and patient, especially with us being American.

Pros: Fast reaction , quite quick pickup.

Cons: The returning was slow and timeconsuming because they want to fabricate and record some invisible scraches what they probably had there beforehand. Just this moment car was washed and polished it couldnt be visible in pick up day

Pros: Dented and scratched. We were told to take pics of the outside at pick-up, but not of the inside (which would have shown the missing boot shelf).

Cons: Attitude of staff and also their clean car policy (expected a clean inside and out before drop-off, otherwise a fine would be due).

Pros: Easy upgrade

Cons: Wasn't aware of cleaning requirements

Pros: Ātra auto saņemšana, neskatoties uz to ka jābrauc ar pakalpojuma sniedzēja transportu līdz auto saņemšanas vietai.

Cons: Viss bija saprotams bez liekā problēmām.

Pros: We were picked up and got the car fast. Also smooth delivery of the car. Good service.

Cons: Difficult to find.

Pros: Nothing, useless people

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Very friendly approach and staffs are very friendly and helpful. Gave me free upgrade without asking. Appreciated.

Pros: Nothing

Cons: Below average

Pros: Efective and reliable

Pros: Ease of process and pristine car.

Pros: Staff was friendly and helpful. When we first left a staff member packed all our baggage and a walker into the car which was really helpful.

Cons: We took a photo of the car within minutes after we left the lot. It showed minor damage to a hub cap. We showed the picture when we returned, but RentalPlus still charged us for the damage, even though it was clearly not our fault. Maybe customers need to be warned about the need to photograph the car before leaving RentalPlus.

Pros: Nothing.

Cons: Advised on the phone that they would take visa debit card if we bought extra insurance which we said we would. Initial rental was approx €39, & extra insurancewas €78.. When we arrived at the office they decided that they wouldn't take a Revolut debit visa card. They wanted my husband to take out a new rental on his card. We asked how much ot would be and were quoted in excess of €300 for the same car! We went elsewhere. Would never use them in the future. Would never recommend them.

Pros: It was nice car.

Cons: The car was returned in the exact same condition as it was taken. They said that there was a new scratch on the back - it was so minute I would have never seen it. And the charged me for a stain on the front seat. I paid up front for cleaning - which I found also to be a scam but on top of that they charged for something I don't even know was there. I had to drop it off before they were open - so it just rip to be scammed. And I feel that is exactly what they did.

Pros: Antonio was very nice at check in.

Cons: They’re not in airport terminal and are not on WhatsApp, so couldn’t call them, therefore had to walk with heavy luggage rather than use their free shuttle. Car was very dirty inside (stains on front passenger seat, inside of windshield had many streaks). Also had LOTS of scratches and scrapes in the paint. Should have demanded a different car. Upon return, was charged €361 for a scuff not visible from the angle of photos/video I’d taken; it clearly was part of an old scrape above.

Pros: Was great experience from start to finish!

Cons: The service was great. Very helpful. Great car

Pros: STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! They are scammers. They refused our cards and tried to ask us for cash for another car. We tried to get our car for more than 4 hours. When we asked questions to their procedures they got aggressive and threw us out. We had to leave for our own safety. Why do you cooperate with such a scam car rental company?! We lost all our money and got no car!

Cons: STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

Cons: My reservation was cancelled because the rental company made a mistake on the pickup time.

Pros: They were professional and explained our specific situation and found a solution.

Cons: Checking in took too long.

Pros: Macchina perfetta

Pros: They were generally very kind and patient with everything.

Cons: I was waiting for them to pick me up at the airport for about 20 minutes, and they said they were coming in 5 minutes.

Pros: It was consistent at least. Every bit of the experience was awful.

Cons: They're really shady. Someone might've tried to break into our rental car, because the cover of the keyhole on the driver side door was damaged. The lock was still flawlessly functioning though, and even the guys at the rental place told us we don't have to worry about that tiny damage, as luckily the lock itself was unharmed. A week after returning the car I noticed they deducted over 260 Euros from my card. They didn't call me, didn't send a message, no receipt, invoice, nothing, just took it.

Cons: They gave me a car not in perfect condition, with the light of the tyres on but told me it was ok. After two days, one tyre was down and I Had to have the tyre replaced and to go Back to Olbia to fix it. They put the blame on me but the mechanic they sent me to said there was a small nail into the tyre and the air went out very slowly, that’ s why the light was on. At the end of a big argument they paid for the problem. The ca was also without water for the windscreen. I ruined one day of my hol

Pros: The personel were friendly and helpful. Good value for money, seemed much cheaper than some of the other providers. We got a very nice, near new car.

Cons: We spent sometime trying to figure out where the shuttle service was. Upon arrival we found there was only one member of staff leading out the cars, and several groups waiting, the process was lengthy. When dropping off the car, I stood in the same line only to find out from the same said staff memeber that I should hand the keys in to a guy walking around the car park who will check the car and sign off on it. The process could be streamlined to be much more efficient and less time consuming.

Pros: Nothing, worst service ever!

Pros: OK prices, close to airport.

Cons: During the drop off they truelly over screen the car, looking for the smallest possible things. Furthermore they demand a fully cleaned car, in my opinion to exagerated.

Pros: The amability, profesionall and happy faces! Shuttle car to and from airport!

Pros: Nothing

Cons: Car rental office away from airport Booked car was not kept for us as flight was delayed and we were forced to rent a bigger and more expensive car unnecessarily

Cons: Explained above. In addition the quality of the car didn’t justify the high price spent. Do not book with Discovery because if your flight is late they will not hold your car if you are not there within 1 hour. They will obviously propose you a very expensive car, the only one left of course and you ll spend double the amount planned. The guy at the counter is super slow, he is by himself and has to answer the phone every 5 Mins. All People arriving call him to request the shuttle service.

Pros: The car hired was in great condition, the airport pick up was very quick and easy to contact on arrival.

Cons: Very unhelpful when we needed to add an additional driver thanks to Discover Cars completely incompetence. When dropping the car back, the "checks" made it feel like you were being interrogated and the staff were quite frankly disinterested and rude.

Pros: Absolutely nothing.

Cons: Felt like I was being conned.

Pros: Nothing.

Cons: My wife ended up in tears due to your staff's aggressiveness

Pros: The competent and helpful women at the drop-of in Cagliari

Cons: Being scammed into paying double the amount for a much larger car

Pros: Brand-new car.

Cons: They wanted to charge me if I did not clean the car at the return. Plus, they made me pay €303 for an assistance because I had forgotten my key in the car. The intervention lasted three minutes maximum to open the door and they charged me 303 euros!

Pros: Disgusting staff and moaning that there was a little sand in the car when we returned it!!!! (From a beach holiday) absolutely appalled they charged me €30 for cleaning and didn’t bring this to my attention when we collected the vehicle!!! WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN!!!

Cons: Car ok. SERVICE ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!!!

Pros: Nice guys, easy communication. Straight about their expectations when returning the car, made no issue about a late return.

Cons: Didn't have the car we ordered but in all honesty, not their fault.

Pros: Nice guys who did not try to oversell insurances i didn't need. Straightforward to deal with and I felt they were trustworthy

Pros: Nothing ended up leaving without a car. Absolutely not fun with 3 small kids late at night

Cons: No service or help at all

Pros: Easy pick up Good price

Cons: Only thing I was unsure about was the 'cleaning' fee - they said if we had any sand etc in the car that we would be charged 40 euro, unless we paid 14 euro upfront. Thought this was a bit strange as surely the cars are cleaned in between each use anyway? Not a major problem but was not something I have encountered before.

Pros: Very helpful service

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Good service and price

Cons: Slow when picking the car up. Unreasonable demands on the interior and external cleanliness of the car when returned

Pros: Service was horrible canceled my week long reservation after my flight got canceled and could not make the exact pick up through no fault of my own and charged me the whole cost.

Cons: Again got charged for the full week of rental after they cancelled my reservation because my flight was cancelled and could not make the exact reservation time.

Pros: Price and information

Cons: Nothing

Cons: The rental company I was given was very hard to find. Returning the car became very stressful and I almost missed my flight because it was on a side street that was unmarked instead of where all the other rental cars are. I accidentally left my suitcase in the trunk and the rental company was not help to get the suitcase back so I lost it and all my stuff inside.

Pros: Good phone contact and airport transfers

Cons: They tried to push me to take another coverage from their company. The first offered car had a airbag error on the cockpit-they pushed me to get that car" because this is not a big problem"...thats why we spent about 1 hour pickup time....

Pros: I had all documents except my Id/ passport just a couple photo copy . I asked for 1 hour to go and pick it up so they could give us the car but been told is not possible ! Unfortunately really bad experience , I totally get it it was my fault as I had just credit card / driver licence / copy of id and marriage certificate with me but could really be a bit flexible as we had even 3h flight delays and some agencies were ok for the passengers to pick up the ca

Cons: Staff seemed rude in Olbia and pushing to go at the airport for different company where they will charge more of course .

Pros: The stuff was polite and they were speaking good English. Also the car was brand new.

Cons: There was almost no water in the windscreen wipers reservoir.

Pros: Small outfit so not too crowded.

Cons: Insistance on having a credit card. In over 20 years of travelling around europe my Debit card was always satisfactory.

Pros: very friendly staff. Gave me a new Audi upgrade for free. very clear instructions and easy to deal with

Cons: When I dropped the care the man was abusive and rude, we swore at us and took pictures and even pushed my elderly mum. I have reported him and I will never use discovery again. When returning the car we could not find the place, I called 4 times for help and he kept hanging up the phone on me which lead to us being 30 mins late and he decided to charge an extra day! I will put the same review all over Google and trip advisor as this is unacceptable and illegal behaviour.

Pros: Returning was fast and easy, very kind women

Cons: The pick up took really long. They were a bit unkind to other customers so i didnt left the building with a good feeling. I think because they were very busy. I was scared for scratches or worse during the holiday because i saw other people returning the car with a small scratch getting a big bill. They told me the full insurance wasnt covering everything, that made me a bit insecure. I decided to not accept their offer for an extra insurance

Pros: Terrible

Cons: From the moment we got a flat tire...the trip was over for two days! Until the moment we took the car somewhere else...

Pros: Easy to deliver the car, which was in a good condition.

Cons: Poor communication prior to rental regarding mandatory use of credit card; inefficiency of agent and shuttle service, car user manual only in Italian and complete chaos in the office upon arrival.

Pros: Nice Cars,

Cons: They try to sell You extra insurance and when YouTube do not except that, they become difficult. They say that You have to pay for every scrash.

Pros: I think they are reasonably price d

Cons: On return of the car the agent acted quite unprofessionally. Very shortly after I took the car AdBlue warning light came on which indicates that perhaps the cars are not properly checked before being rented out. AdBlue should be done at service of the car

Pros: The worst car rental experience and the store manager is worst people i have ever meet.

Cons: There is no services at all and giving customer all attitude. The italian arrogant attitude is discussion.

Pros: The shuttle bus

Cons: The 40 euros extra that appeared out of nothing when I wanted to pay. after reporting it, it disappeared just as quickly

Pros: It was friendly, easy and helpfull.

Cons: Nothing.

Cons: The rental cars asked for credt card which we dont ahve at that time, so we have to buy another additional full insurance and it tool almost 2 hours to get the car. 3 other customers along with us, had the same problem and faced the same issue.

Cons: I paid for insurance on your website. I was told at rentalplus that they do not accept insurance through your site and I had to pay for insurance again. So the car cost me almost double. I hereby ask you to refund the money I paid for the insurance.

Pros: We are very disappointed with this company, I would definitely not recommend their rental to friends or colleagues. We founf this acceptible car on the Internet. Then it was suggested that if you want full insurance it will be more expensive at ~150Eur., then ok, we chose full insurance. After arriving at the place, as the employee said, it turns out that it is not full insurance, and she asked for more than 200 Eur. Ok, we agreed. And finally when returned car they ask + 50Eur for washing?

Pros: The car was new and very clean

Cons: the agent was not the friendliest ever. He informed us about the conditions related to the rental but with special emphasis on the consequences that we would have if there was any damage to the car. when we informed him that we did not want additional insurance, he mentioned all the costs and damage amounts in a way that startled us, almost as if he had been irritated and impatient that we would not agree to take out another insurance that would be more expensive than the rent itself.

Pros: Reliable...Efficient...Prompt Courteous Staff

Pros: Friendly, English speaking staff. Good value for money, Efficient hybrid car with plenty of luggage space for a couple.

Cons: Nothing really. A little difficult to find the shuttle pick-up point at Olbia airport, but once found everything ran smoothly.

Pros: Customer service, ease of pickup and drop off

Cons: NA

Pros: Nothing. I was not able to reach the car rental location. No phone numbers were available to reach them. The shuttle service was not available.

Cons: Everything
