Noleggiare at Olbia Airport

Pros: Not that great. We got told after waiting 1 ½ our in line that we missed our time slot with 1 hour so the car was released. We arrived 15.30 the rental place. Allthough we paid a deposit. I cant find the in the terms and condition and IF that is the case renting cars in a Airport the this is a REALLY bad service.

Cons: They were service minded and did sell us a new car but with a lot of extra prices. Same goes for the insurance which apparently also were lost.

Pros: There was NO SERVICE!

Cons: I filled in all my details through your website when booking the car. At the rental desk it seemed that they needed to write a lot in order to get the car booked. This should be automated so I can just pick up the keys and go. Why does it take so much time to pick up the car every time even if all information about me is given prior to the booking?

Cons: the car had no radio and all the facilities were not in our control. The console was password protected and after few attempts contacting the service provider I had no response. Equally the return was not good. more than 15 minutes waiting and not verification of the car as we had to leave for the check in

Cons: Eventhough i paid the full price already , they said that they are only allowed to reserve the car for 1 hour. Since we arrived 2 hours later i had to pay extra for a different car. Since i booked it over discover cars, its not their problem.

At dropp off they invented that there are scratches beneath the car front and that’s me who did it and deducted 330€ from the 800€ guarantee and told me to get them from Discovercars!!!!

Pros: It was great that someone attended us in the line early on and got us to check in to speed up the process for when we got to the desk. However I can’t rate anything else as our car was given away before we reached the desk and we did not get a car from Noleggiare.

Cons: It took us 1.5 hours to be served at the counter with a booking. If you having a booking there should be in a seperate line to speed up the process of being organised before arriving. We also checked in to speed up the process of picking up the car and none of this get flagged on the Noleggiare’s end which made no sense as to why you would check in prior to the desk.

And because at the drop off there is no one to control. I felt really insecure about my choice but then I saw on discover car that I was full covered. They’re thieves that’s all. Also we waited 1 hour to take the car

They declined people for being late to collect yet they were on time, only late because of the queue - the company’s fault. Cancelled their cars and gave them to another person.

Pros: Nothing. They were rude, slow and didn’t care.

Cons: The car collection process was so tedious and slow. We waited over 2 hours with only 2 people in front of us in the queue. Everytime it was close to being our turn one of their ‘premium’ members would jump in front of us. It took the check in desk about 35 mins per car to complete the check in process. Watching all of the other car rental companies around us complete the process in 5 mins max. I would avoid using Noleggiare for anyone who was thinking about it.

Pros: the agent told us that the insurance package we purchased was ineffective and that any damage to the car would have to be paid upfront and then later put in a claim for reimbursement. we had to buy 205 euros worth of insurance which we did not expect and were very upset about

Pros: We waited in line for 45 minutes at the desk only to be told that the reservation was cancelled because we were over one hour late. No ability to book us another car or help, they told us it would be cheaper to go elsewhere.

Cons: Overall a terrible experience and would never recommend booking through an agent again. I have cancelled all further bookings.

Cons: I had already checked in online but had to complete paperwork on arrival. I paid for a BMW 2 Series or similar but was provided with a Ford Kuga Hybrid. The Noleggiare representative was very pushy on their full coverage policy, even after I mentioned a few times that I had paid for a policy through DiscoverCars.

When we arrived we were told our car was no longer available and had to have a much more expensive one. It was 11 pm at night so no other choices. The girl asked why did you not phone us! So I showed her where it said phone THIS number. She says it’s the wrong number. We paid £333 to Discovery cars and an extra 250 Euro to Noleggiare. V pricey trip

Cons: They charged me for minor damage under the front bumper. Under a normal visual inspection of the car, nobody would be expected to see any such damage. I suspect (but cannot prove) it already existed when I picked up the car. Additionally,, I doubt it will be repaired, but nevertheless it will be "discovered" again and again when it the car returned by future customers.

Cons: Upon arrival, the representative told us we needed to pay an extra 119 euros for their insurance because the insurance I bought through discover cars (21 euro) was invalid since we were over an hour late to pick up the car which was due to an 1.5 hour delay in our flight. They were not accommodating even though the flight delay was out of our control, and we were uninformed that our booking and insurance would be invalid after an hour. They also charged extra for not having the gas 100% full.

And when we returned to drop our car off another gentleman said that he refused to pay the 175 euro on collection of the car as he’d already paid for full insurance noleggiare were accusing him of having a crash even though he hadn’t and it was evident he had not had a crash there wasn’t a mark on the car. And wanted 250 euro.

Cons: they gave away my car because I didn't collect it within 60 minutes of the reservation time. My flight was delayed, and so I didn't join the queue until 80 mins after the time i had reserved the car for, and then waiting in the queue for a further 40 minutes. They finally gave me a lower spec car (smaller and manual) whilst still charging me the original rate. I felt like they had ripped me off, but had no alternative since the queues were huge and i was stranded at the airport with my children.

Worst ever experience, will never use Noleggiare rental again and I definitely not recommend. Stay away!

I had no incident with the Toyota Tercel I rented for 14 days with Noleggiare and dropped it off at Olbia early on 11 August. I then received an email requesting the last page of my rental contract and thereafter an email stating there was a scratch on the body and that I owe 200 euros and an 80 euro administration fee. And this with full no risk insurance coverage? Shameful practice. Scratch non-existent.

She said it would cost us €150 and then wnet to the next costumers without answering all the questions we had. We chased her to ask some questions, but she just ignored us. Pros: We were delayed flying out to Olbia by 2 days and despite emailing to ask that it was kept for us (with us just losing 2 days rental) as soon as we knew and 3hrs before we were due to collect the car when we arrived it had been rented to someone else and there were no others so we had no car for our holiday. The representative on the desk simply said he had no record of us emailing despite your representative saying it had been sent multiple times.

Then wanted to change the excesses I had agreed took me over 15 mins to pick up the car. I also then had to pay for car cleaning which I have never had to do before with car hiring it is normally included.

Pros: The low price for the rental, but I didn't know that in order to recoup the money of the low price they would charge for non existent damages like "the bumper is a tiny less shiny, this will cost you 380 euros!!!!"

Cons: It's a scam they are professional scammers!!! They put lowest prices and then if one returns the car undamaged they make something up. I would not be surprised if they omit in purpose to list all damages upon collection. I have being renting cars for the past 13 years, at least 6-7 times per year and I've never been treated this bad!
