GaldieriRent at Olbia Airport

Pros: Nothing

Cons: I had a disappointing experience with GaldieriRent at Olbia airport. They offered a toddler seat for my 5-month-old daughter and tried to negotiate a shady deal with another company for a baby seat. They also offered to waive some fees if I rented the seat from this other company. My credit card was not accepted because it didn't have my name printed on it, despite explaining this is common in Mexico for security reasons. The staff was rude and unhelpful.

Pros: Exceeded our booked car category which was helpful as we had 4 passengers with luggage,

Cons: At the drop off no presennce of stuff but no issues left key at the car rental office inside Aeroport

Pros: It was an absolute disaster, i got to the office and there were 30 people waiting outside with 1 employee. Wait time was 4h, i was there for a wedding and i had to go somewhere else and rent a new car.

Pros: Everyone was very nice, accommodating to Canadian customers would recommend!

Pros: Their terms and conditions did not specify that we would require a hard copy of the international drivers license. We had the international license in pdf format on our phone but the agent would not rent to us, saying we needed a hard copy and that even a printed copy wouldn't suffice. This left us to book elsewhere same day at a much higher price.

Cons: We also had our Canadian license with us and we didn't even have to have an international license at the other rental agency.

Cons: Fui mal atendido, pra variar. Segundo ponto é que outras locadoras são muito mais solícitas. SEMPRE ESCOLHAM AS MAIORES. No final eu não peguei meu carro e até hoje não vi o reembolso.

Pros: Nothing, waited ages to collect! Absolute hours! Shocking, car had scratches but good job I photographed all as I was asked if I had photos when I dropped off! Assume that was to charge me if I had not. I was told the documents would be emailed to me with the emergency numbers when I collected but these never arrived! Good job I didn’t break down. Ran out of AddBlue first day! 😳

Pros: We didn’t get a car. When we arrived to collect our car we were told we needed an international drivers license. We rent cars around the world. We have NEVER encountered this before. Terrible customer service.

Pros: Lengthy but acceptable service at pick up When I gave the car back they proposed to charge me 100 euro for a non - damage that pre - existed (scratch of less than one centimeter on the wheel) assuming I had pre - identified him at car pick up with a photo. Obviously fhe scratcu was so minimal it was impossible to be seen. Employee was very unfriendly and clearly had a plan to execute, ie charge the customer additional money in any possible way.

Cons: The car was described as being able to fit two suitcases, but was only big enough for one suitcase in the boot. Additionally the windscreen washer fluid reservoir was empty.

Cons: Car was filthy, car had tons of scratches and dents on it, no damage report given when collecting the car, was just told to take a video of the car inside and out to prove if there are any issues but it was dark when collecting and didn't give me much confidence

Cons: They gave us a car smaller than the one we reserved without offering a discount or apology. The one agent was slow and diffident--seemingly helpless when problems arose with other clients in front of us.

Cons: Rude, patronising staff. Forced to pay more money upon pick up with no clear explanation. Hard to find, not signposted at all at airport.

Cons: Charged 10 euros extra per day as my flight was delayed and I missed the pick up time, what a disgrace. Car has no ad blue and no water in the windscreen wipers

Cons: The location of the car rental office on Olbia Airport is tricky to find and is almost a 10 min walk from Arrivals. It would be great if they can arrange the office nearer to arrivals like SIXT has.

Cons: i could not find the rental office, they refuse to pick me up until 45 minutes later, took a good 45 minutes to sign paperwork and pick up the car the insisted on a huge deposit of 1200 euros, even though, I had international travel insurance and discovers liability insurance the kept my deposit for 25 days and ten kept about 90 euros of it

People coming through the airport and find out that booking was cancelled after the flight delay? Cons: Only problem was that it wasn't immediately obvious where the airport pick up is, although they provided description nothing in the area had a sign, can I suggest a map or a sign in the pickup area by the airport.

Cons: Car offered was not clean inside for which Galdieri noted and apologised. offered me an alternative but I did not want to repeat car pick up process which was although digital was heavy and cumbersome. Twice i was promised emails from Galdieri and still until now nothing received to confirm pick up or drop off details confirmation. Greeting on arrival at car rental reception desk was far from friendly and the service confusing, especially as I was told /recommending to buy extra insurance

Cons: No documentation inside the car relating to how/where to drop off. I asked when picking up the car and was assured the information was in the car. It wasn't. This resulted in an anxiety-inducing 1.5 hours spent returning the car before I could get to my flight - only minutes to spare before the gate closed.

Cons: We paid 3 times the prices announced. We booked the car for full days and have been charge for late arrival. WE have never seen that. Also seems that the rules on the UK contract are not the same that the ones where you get the car (In OLbia). I will certainly not recommend it.

Cons: We had a very poor experience with GaldieriRent. We specifically reserved an automatic car and paid a premium for this. When we went to collect the car we were advised that they had no automatic cars available and had known this to be the case since the day before. There were significant delays on collecting the car, it took over 1hour 30mins from looking for the shuttle stop (unmarked in airport car park) to leaving with a car that we didn't reserve. Very poor.

Cons: They gave me a dirty car so it was difficult to spot a glass break. Then they pretended it was my fault, didn’t allow me to repair nor they offered to repair themselves, until it turned into a major glass break so they could charge me for a full glass replacement. This to me looks like a fraud

Cons: With widespread flight delays, I called up Galdier rent 5 hours in advance to double check they would be ok that my flight was delayed beyond their hours of 8pm. They took my flight details and said they will be open. Upon arriving, I tried to follow the pick up instructions for the shuttle, which were unclear. Despite asking 4 people, I could not locate. I then called Galdier and spoke to a representative who said they were closing right then and wouldn’t help - telling me it’s my fault.
