Maggiore at Olbia Airport

Pros: Very good service!👍

Cons: Nothing.

Cons: I booked the car with Discoverycar and had to pay a completely different (higher) price and there was no child seat in the car. The person at the reception said they are not in contact with discovery car.

Pros: Kind and professional.

Cons: I didn’t like the not full tank policy which forced us to strenuous calculations to return the car with the same tank level (7/8)

Cons: Sat nav needed updating. Car not as clean inside as could of been. Explanation of car not really given.

Cons: The indoor windows were not cleaned and quite dirty. Had to clean myself

Cons: Reservation was made via discover cars and it was not clear at first view that the rental was actually Maggiore; OPerators are hard to recognize as they dont wear company clothing, only a badge but look like everybody else on the parking lot

Pros: We found Maggiore easily from the airport. The representative was clear and helpful and explained everything thoroughly

Pros: I could pick the car I liked more

Cons: The lady who was collecting car from us insinuated someone was trying to break into the car because the key lock insert on driver side was slightly dented. She said it was a new damage to the car as it was not written at collection form. We didn’t see this when picking up the car and the agent who was at the time didn’t check that with us. Luckily we made high resolution photos of the car when picking it up so we could proof the dent was already there at picking up time. They tried to cheat us.

Cons: The car was filthy inside, I had to clean the inside windows in order to see properly at dusk. The drivers side door lock had been forced and couldn't be used, they should have checked this and probably shouldn't have leased it. My brother got charged by them in July for a forced lock which may have been done already at check out. Not good.

Pros: Nothing only thing they good at is changing you extra and not offering you the car you booked instead give u options to pay extra for higher rental cars

Cons: Car was handed to me without any sketch or any damages shown luckily I took a picture upon from the front so that I could refer the registration number if needed. Upon the returned guy pointed out the small scuff of registration plate it was due to wear and tear not a damaged caused by me but he was so quick pointing that and putting blame on me luckily I had a picture which shown the scuff already been there prior to collection. I felt they are the hustler get every opportunity to hustle you.

Cons: We discovered at the desk that Maggiore insurance was 50€ per day.... almost doubling the cost of the rental.

Pros: kindness of the agents and efficiency

Cons: overall price was a bit high for the type of car we got

Pros: We finally got a car that suited our needs.

Cons: On the first try, we did not get a car that was reserved and did not suit our needs (4 people and luggage). On the second try, the staff found us a matching car that met our requirements. We had a plug-in hybrid car, which is not quite suitable for the needs of rental companies. There was nowhere to charge, so the advantage of a plug-in hybrid car disappeared, and on the other hand, a small tank meant frequent refueling.

Pros: When the cars we had booked were not available we got an upgrade which suited our needs. Very happy with this!

Pros: Good drop off service, friendly staff

Cons: Had to queue for 45 minutes to pick up, even with only two people in front of us one of whom didn't have a credit card for the excess deposit. Got the hard sell on extra insurance and lack of recovery service etc which I didn't need.

Cons: They gave us a hard time over the fact that the person with the creditcard was the second driver instead of the first. So we had to cancel our booking and make a new one at an increased price

Cons: Unable to explain fully the reason for the location surcharge. Too eager to sell their own very very expensive insurance.

Cons: The car was totally overpriced this season (so were the competitors' cars to be fair). At return, we got charged for a small mark on one wheel at c. 30% of the rental price, so more than 300 CHF for something they will obviously not fix and that by no means costs that much even if they would fix it. We barely had the chance to speak and ask questions, the staff was incredibly rude with us and even with content with themselves: "I care a lot about this car". Yes, sure :)

Cons: They only tried to insure extra at the desk, but I was already well insured. But that remains a thing with all car rental companies. Be careful about what you have in terms of insurance and don't get distracted.

Cons: They discriminated me as a woman alone. They didn''t gave me the car and earned more money for renting my car to someone else.

Cons: The agent was pushing Maggiore insurance coverage upon pick-up and it was uncomfortable since we had full coverage from Discovercars already. Both pick up and drop off could have been faster and more efficient

Pros: Respect to Maggiore two guys who have to serve many more clients in comparison to other agencies on July 31st evening when we arrived. Despite the queue they served us very pleasantly. Please tell many thanks to them.

Cons: I do not know if queue to Maggiore agency is a typical casein summer time. If yes and in case of availability I would suggest to hire more representatives. We spent 50 min. approx. in the queue looking for the car.

Pros: New car, perfectly clean; pick up and restitution of the car with an agent;

Cons: Pushing to pick the insurance even if a total coverage insurance was subscribed with an external party;

Pros: They asked me +250euro for the extra-insurance. They said yours it is not valid!! That guy ask me to tell you that your inssurance it is not for Italy:)
