Cons: 1. Called for the shuttle but no answer, luckily found the spot after searching and waited for a minibus to arrive but wasn’t clear it was via rent smart 2. Didn’t know I needed a credit card in the name of the person the booking was made under - if already paid online then had to pay 50 euros to get the main driver changed which then voided my separate insurance purchased 3. The car had lots of damage 4. I was charged £256 for no reason after dropping it off with no damage!

Cons: It was difficult to find the correct traffic entry point for returning the Car in Olbia. A map to assist would have been helpful.

Pros: Appalling service - very publicised fire at airport delayed our pick up - we were 2 hours late and they cancelled our booking - very unhelpful! We where unable to contact discovery after several attempts

Cons: Your information is open to receive fake parking citations from places that you never visited. Because they can't control the information that they have, and because of AI, you and your home address are shared to scam organizations that try to tell you that you have parking violations from places that you never visited. And when you try to call customer service that can't comprehend.

Cons: I was misled into signing what I believed was a standard security deposit, only to later discover I had been charged for an additional premium coverage that I never requested. When I raised this issue with a staff member, I was told that no refund could be issued because I had signed the document—despite not being properly informed. This is unacceptable and highly deceptive. I strongly advise avoiding this company at all costs.

Pros: Communication was clear and straiforward, they didn't push for extra services, pickup and dropoff were fast and easy also thanks to their automated document check-in.

Cons: Car had a problem with the radio, which was mentioned beforehand and apologized for. However, we couldn't connect our smartphone to the screen and navigate on Google maps. So, provide a different car or a free car upgrade would have been a better service.

Pros: Friendly staff when we picked up the car

Cons: they try to rip us off for 513,50€ for a damage, which was on the car when we picked it up. We noticed the damage, reported the damage, the employee noted and confirmed it too, but now they bill us for it. That’s theft.

Cons: I was sick one day, unfortunately we had to travel that they sincecwe moved the hotel, so we wanted to add a second driver. They didn‘t care and just told me that it‘s not possible, that‘s it. I would have paid for it. Since I worked at a car rental company for 7 year I now bow to do customer service, and that was just bad!

Pros: It was fast and correct.

Cons: That they still warned that there was no insurance from them, but in case of damage we had to pay this in advance and claim it from DiscoverCars. And we had received a message via Discover Car Hire that the telephone number of RentSmart 24 had changed, but that turned out to be incorrect, so we could not get in touch at the airport for the shuttle service.

Cons: Absolutely no efficiency. I total I have used around 2 hours for pick up and return. Furthermore the pick up agent was extremely empty of servicemindness and smile

Cons: They gave me a car with bumps that were not registered. Upon return there was another unregistered scratch se deep under the car that it was not visible from outside. It was from previous owner too, but now it was my problem even though I know with 100% certainty I did not make it. Would be very noisy if I had.

Cons: The associates were less than attentive. We were also told there would be someone there to check us out early on the day of our departure and no one was there that could help.

Cons: The only thing I did not like is that we had to pay additional 30% of rental fee (we rented for 5 days but we were picking up 4 hours after a working day). I guess that's a thing in Italy, otherwise the car rental price is in okay-ish range.

Cons: I do not like a single thing. Everyone told me everything was fine. I presented documents explaining my vehicle was scratched in a parking lot. At home, they say it buffs out, they answer phones, the rental service is actually at the airport. Do not expect this. They exist to do you wrong and charge you.

Pros: I’ve scheduled to get the car at 7 am on jult 23th. There is no one until 8:15 am. I had to wait. And to give back at 6am on July 26th also there is no one to attend. So what do I have to pay the fee ? I would like to receive back this fee.

Cons: Limited characters so not able to detail, but extended issues including: - hard to find once arrived - given manual car even though paid for auto, without even telling us until we sat in car. Had to contact head office for reimbursement. - told it was full tank and to return as such, yet was only half. - noone available to inspect vehicle on return even though open 24 hrs, mystery scratches appeared with excess damage charges. Just trying to squeeze you for extra € on top of hire fee everywhere

Cons: When I arrive to Olbia airport, was impossible to contact RENTSMART24 to get the shuttle from airport to rental to pick up the car. I tried to call them by different phone numbers unsuccessful. Had to go their by taxi.

Cons: Agent had little English when dropping car back. Car engine size was very underpowered especially as our accommodation was at the top of a number of very steep hills.

Pros: Good price/quality ratio, quick and hassle-free pick-up and drop-off, functional shuttle bus service, no unexpected terms or conditions, fine car.

Cons: Personnel speaks very limited English, which is a bit awkward during pick-up and drop-off (in case of questions or discussions) and I really can't understand this for a car rental company next to an international airport. This also applied to the shuttle bus driver, who couldn't even answer the phone in English when I called to be picked up on arrival, really weird. Fortunately there were no problems so also no need for discussions.

Pros: Efficient pick up. I arrived after hours so I checked in online prior to arrival. I simply walked in, got the keys, and drove away. The drop of was a little slow, but nothing to complain about. Only real complaint was the walk to Rentsmart24. It’s about a 17 minute walk from the airport.

Cons: Nothing about the service was negative.

Cons: Our car stipped working and this company was ot able to help us sove the issue. It was extremally difficult to contact them at Friday 7 p.m. They just told me to call everywhere instead of helping me finding the car. They left us with small children 100 km from our apartment with broken car.
