Vettura at Olbia Airport

Pros: Easy, no problem

Cons: An airport pickup could be a bit quicker,

Pros: The guys who helper us on both pick up and drop were great and very nice guys, the car however was a disgrace as they also confirmed.

Cons: The car had so many damages, insane! The front tires were completly gone. Pretty dangerous driving on Sardinian coastal and hill roads, and what about the roads with Stones and rocks to the beaches sometimes

Pros: It’s was easy pick up, good communication with staff

Pros: We really liked the car and were very happy with that

Cons: They said we had to return the car inside and out before returning, otherwise we would get a £25 fee. This information was not in the original booking. The return process was slow and we had to wait for the shuttle.

Cons: Car at pick up was not clean, salted sits, sand here and there

Pros: Almost new car, really clean with windshield washer fluid ;)

Pros: Contrary to the reviews, I had a great experience with Vettura. Everyone was very friendly and not pushy at all. I reserved the car on Discovercars, but bought the Gold insurance from Vettura themselves. When I returned the car they didn’t even check anything because I had taken the insurance. I do recommend taking insurance because other people might create problems for you, like bumping their door into yours. I was lucky and they gave me a brand new car.

Pros: despite the long waiting time, I feel they really tried to be helpful

Cons: they are clearly understaffed. I can foresee efficiency gains.

Pros: They gave me upgrade to bigger car,car was new.

Pros: Due to issues with the initial rent company we got a correct service + even an upgrade with Vettura.

Pros: Cannot be trusted. They push their insurance and if you don’t purchase the insurance then they WILL find scratches.

Cons: Scammers

Cons: Requires washing or a 20€ gee

Cons: They tried to scam us at the end and forced us with already existing damages. They insisted that we have both video and picture proof of the damages. Totally ridiculous

Pros: They collect you from the airport and take you back

Cons: Everything was great The only thing I would say is that they told us the car had half a tank of fuel and we had to bring it back the same but in fact we drove down the road and it had no fuel in it So I took a picture and showed them when we dropped the car back which they were fine with

Pros: Pickup and Dropoff was smooth and easy. Good rates

Cons: Can't walk from the terminal to the pickup location - was not super clear where the pickup / shuttle spot was.

Pros: Honest reliable company. When I faced difficulties with locking the car, they did their utmost to solve the problem, with success.

Cons: Nothing

Cons: unclear about the drop off tim e

Pros: Good car, nice people.

Cons: We had a problem with the account what was know at the broker. There was no possibillity to change the agrement, so we had to buy an extra incurrance from your company. During the trip we had a flat tire, this is part of the Gold agrement. But we didn't see the repayment yet. It is just € 30,- all together it doesn't give us a good feeling about Vettura.

Pros: Not much

Cons: Very confusing where to meet shuttle. They are off site and hard to find. They only open at 8:00 am

Pros: Kindness, helpfulness and explanations about everything.

Cons: We had minor damage to a wheel because we drove into a hole in the road (it was dark and the road surface was very खराब), but they are charging €250 for a hubcap and a small dent in the rim. In my view, that is exorbitant.

Pros: Excellent car, fairly quick service, no hassle!

Cons: I had full-to-full fuel-tank policy from DiscoverCars.com but they ignored that.

Cons: They tried to blame me for scratches on the car. Luckily I was taking a proper video of the car in the beginning…

Cons: Thw inside of the windshield was very dirty. Flat tire indicator was on when I drove off lot, wipers were in bad condition and did not properly clean windshield on outside. No spare tire was with the car

Pros: Car ready when we got there, easy paperwork, no hidden fees and provided timely shuttle pick up. Communicated through WhatsApp in a timely manner as well.

Cons: The only thing a bit less than excellent was I felt the car was a bit dirty upon pick up and had less than a half tank of gas. Although we only had to return it with the same amount of fuel it would be nice to start the journey not having to get fuel so quickly

Pros: The agent was very kind and professional. No problems with car or company.

Pros: nothing

Cons: Title: Hidden Charges and Unprofessional Service – Avoid Review: We had a very negative experience with VETTURA S.r.l. Upon arrival, we were forced to pay an extra €225.03 for insurance, which was never shown during the online booking process. Refusing this was not an option – otherwise, we would lose the money already paid. We were also required to leave a €1,500 deposit, only via credit card. We offered a valid credit card (from my wife, who was present), but they refused to accept it just

Cons: We had to pay again for Protection. We already paid with Discover cars, but they said it is not enough.

Pros: Friendly, precise, no problems service

Pros: They did everything right.

Cons: Unclear about the pickup location.

Cons: The agent reported a scratch under the front bumper, even though we had all the photos and videos. He refused to discuss it and charged us €400 despite our evidence.

Pros: New cars

Cons: Agent who work at the picking up at the parking must be more polite and must give more details

Pros: Was OK, efficient, car was OK

Cons: They charged the wrong price, was compensated by less fuel to be filled in the car.

Pros: The online booking process was simple and seamless and the office staff were friendly and professional. They responded promptly to emails and phone calls.

Cons: Although I booked a Seat Arona, I received a Fiat 500 without any explanation or price reduction. On return, I was charged with hidden scratches under the front spoiler, which I hadn't noticed when I picked it up, having to check the car myself in poor light with a torch. With other companies, the existing damage was presented to me at the handover, I didn't have to look for it myself.

Pros: I had problems right from the beginning , from reservation to drop off . The wait for pick up the car was 2 hours, the car was initially advertised at 375 but when paid was 475 . The car was not comfortable , an old fiat ! I dropped off the car full tank , which was more than 1/8 more than pick up but they did not give me the money . The car rental called me twice during my stay to ask me to drop the car sooner than arranged which I rejected !

Cons: Nothing , it was a horrible experience

Pros: Excellent and honest

Cons: The candy machine did not work, but desk operator directly gave our money back

Pros: Vettura were so fast and easy and accommodating

Pros: I recommande this company for sure verry proffessionel and friendly people at the desk!!

Pros: friendly and efficient service!

Pros: Efficient

Cons: I was overcharged and they did not responded with argumentation. My claim still not concluded.

Pros: Very friendly staff.

Cons: Had to wait 4 hours to pick up our car. No compensation and advise the car was returned late. Surely they should have more than one type of this car!!

Pros: Will use again.

Pros: Easy to contact and communicate.

Cons: High charge for a really small paint transfer on the car.

Pros: Car was good, staff were nice.

Cons: Additional fees charged.

Pros: New car with only 1000 kms on the car. Perfect size for our group

Cons: Pick up point could be clearer as the actual number is missing from the display

Pros: The lady was nice and patient. Car was clean and comfortable.

Cons: Checking the car (pick up and drop off) was with video from just our side . The lady gave us the info where the car small scratches has, but didn't check with us. Personally,I don't like this type of pick up /drop off , since in Italy I had bad experience with it . This time was ok from both sides .

Pros: They were really helpful, provided useful detail and suggestions about touring Sardegna. The car was brand new so felt we got a really good offer.

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Speedy pickup/drop off, new car

Cons: The car we received was in the same class, but far from what we expected(CX-30/Arona).

Pros: Had to postpone arrival due to cancelled flight no issues doing this and some personal contact by WhatsApp

Cons: Efficient and timely

Pros: No fussy straight forward quick and easy even though they were very busy. Good service. Definitely would recommend them.

Cons: Difficult to find our taxi driver had no idea where it was. Maybe a sign would help.

Pros: Personable staff. Good language skills - as Australian travellers with only English we found the staff very easy to deal with due to their excellent English.

Cons: Nil

Pros: Great service, very kind & attentive staff!

Pros: Really good services , really friendly staff and polite

Cons: ..

Pros: Friendly staff, efficient, no waiting around.

Cons: Brakes were in need of servicing. This wasn’t on the team’s radar.

Pros: Quick service, very nice people, free transport from and to airport, spotless clean car with air-conditioning, no limit on millage

Cons: All was good 👍

Pros: nothing

Cons: they are cheatters they try to find anything to make you pay more at the end of the journey. PLEASE DONT MAKE ANY RESERVATION THERE

Pros: Good price.

Cons: They had a odd clause I needed to sign which stated that if the car was too dirty, I had to pay an extra 25 to 75 Euro in cleaning costs. Also, they took a massive 1,500 Euro security deposit up-front, which is way too much.

Pros: Would highly recommend.

Pros: The quality of the car

Cons: The fact that they were asking for extra money for any type of coverage although my reservation had that included but it is not recognized by them.

Pros: Very good and friendly communication

Cons: Offsite office

Pros: Customer service was great. Called up to say I would be later than the drop off and they were accommodating.

Pros: Great staff. nice and patient with our kids. They had all the car seats ready, very easy pick up and drop offé.

Cons: nothing

Cons: Fuel policy - prefer full to full

Pros: It was exceptionally good value and the service was friendly and efficient.

Cons: It would be helpful to make it clearer when booking about the procedure for being picked up from the airport and taken to the rental place.

Pros: Overall a very good service.

Cons: The pick up arrangement. Would have preferred if someone was waiting rather than us calling and then having to wait.

Pros: staff were helpful and pick-up was punctual

Pros: Quite flexible

Cons: First car was not working properly and the drop off took too much time

Pros: Fantastic service, quick and without any problems.

Cons: Nothing

Pros: I was charged €70 for picking the car after 22:00 pm. I actually arrived in the airport at 21:30 and communicated I was available for picking up the car but I was informed of the extra charge only after. The contract of the car rent didn’t show the amount, but only outlined in a very small font size of the extra amount. On top of that, I booked Fiat 500 (as shown in the contract), but had to take Panda instead (bc of no availability).

Pros: Rental desk staff helpfull & efficient.

Cons: Rental desk staff.

Pros: The staff were helpful, explained the optional insurance waiver clearly & accepted when we chose not to take it. Check in & out both went well.

Cons: Nothing

Cons: we had to arrange a taxi to pick us up upon dropping the car due to the distance to the airport and the only one way "meet and greet" service they provided. We also had to pay an exceedingly high insurrance premium 289 euros due to issues with accepting the credit card and no option to opt out. It felt like we were being conned and had no other way bu to comply. Overall value of car rental came to 560 euros which a super basic Opel Astra is not worth for 4 days. Very poor start to the holiday.

Cons: The fact they sold me Full insurance at an extra price , but Ventura wouldn’t accept this policy and I had to take another insurance policy out

Pros: Even though the car that we had booked had broken down they were able to find us an alternative and delivery the correct size car when it was available.

Cons: We were forced to buy the insurance twice as the credit card was in my name and not the main driver (my husband). We have never encountered this problem before as my husband has always been the main driver and never held a credit card. We offered a debit card in his name or to pay the 2000 euro in cash but this wasn't accepted. Really frustrating as we either paid for the insurance again or walked away without a car. This was because the booking was made through a broker.

Pros: They were responsive, easy to get to the office.

Cons: We have rented and paid for a Hyundai i20 or similar and they provided a Panda which is a smaller car category

Pros: Friendly and polite service

Cons: The fact they are off the airport
