Felirent at Olbia Airport

Pros: Fast, friendly and great car at a good price. We would use them again.

Cons: Very hot office, slow check in & below standard car.

Pros: Excellent service from start to finish - pick up a little slow but overall excellent

Cons: What we certainly didn’t like and what has cost us money is the fact that we received an almost empty car tank of gasoline and when we gave it back we lost 400km on gasoline since it should be full at pick and full at drop off. So that was not nice since we are used to tank and fill it up.

Pros: The car was new.

Cons: I booked a Peugeot 2008 and was provided with a Mokka. It was obviously a smaller car but the agent insisted it is the same size car!

Cons: Extrem lange Wartezeit bei Abholung (2 Stunden). Ein Auto mit defektem, nicht verwendbarem Türschloss vermietet. Als der Funk-Türöffner nicht funktionierte hieß es: „kaufen und wechseln sie die Batterie im Schlüssel, wenn das auch nicht funktioniert, dann rufen sie einen Abschleppdienst und kommen sie nach Olbia, sie übernehmen die Kosten“. Es war 22 Uhr, wir waren irgendwo an einem Strand und mussten die Nacht im Strandzelt vor dem Auto verbringen, da alle Wertgegenstände drin waren.

Pros: I due ragazzi al banco sono stati super gentili. C’era tanta gente ma mi hanno consegnato l’auto velocemente. Anche la riconsegna, avendo il volo a breve sono stati molto rapiti e disponibili.

Cons: Davvero poco di cui lamentarsi, io ho trovato un ottimo servizio.

Pros: The staff are so busy, so unorganised the queues to collect were over an hour in 35 degree heat with no shade. The drop off wasn’t quite as bad but there were 3 girls on this time not 2 so it was a bit quicker

The person (Russian or Ukraine with blond hair not Italian) , I haven’t the name because she don’t want to give me, she doesn’t smile and very unfriendly, unpleasant We have check the car by night with a video in the dark. The car wasn’t very not clean inside outside and when we are return it was the same girl again not friendly and she say the car have a crash on the hubcap. On the video we see this crash very small it’s was before us

Cons: We have pay 55€ for nothing the problem was before our rent a car I’m very furious , she don’t want to call our manager and to give me her name.she want cash but we pay by credit card. Pros: I didn’t like anything about them. It was a total scam. The agent was unhelpful and wouldn’t listen to us. She refused to give us our rental we had paid for and we had to rent another car for an extra €600.

Cons: I have never experienced such an awful, unhelpful member of staff, who was uncaring and unwilling to help us sort something out.

Cons: How unorganized the staff seemed. Dropping off the car was hectic. People standing all around waiting for one lady who was on the lot. One man chased her down and he was taken care of first. It seemed like whoever was more aggressive was assisted quicker. I’m not sure it was entirely her fault. I do believe they should have more staff and a better way of organizing the pick up and drop off of cars.

Cons: The car was dirty the display screen did not work, I had to wait for three hours for a dirty and broken car . Workers were very rude and unhelpful

Pros: Just stay away unless you want to had over 100s of pounds for a rental that you didn’t even use due to circumstances behind your control like your plane not taking off and you being held on the tarmac for hours

Pros: Easy to find the office at the airport, car was relatively close to the arrival gate.

Cons: It’s not clear from the instructions on your website, that strictly the Mastercard/Visa credit card is needed, with Mastercard debit card additional insurance fee needs to be paid, which was kind of surprise for us at the car pickup.

Pros: I liked the fact that they established a WhatsApp connection with me right from the start. I used it a few times to inform them of the condition of the car when I found it in the carpark. There were multiple scratches and marks on the car which I photographed and WhatsApp'd to them to ensure I didn't get charged for any of these. I was a very nice car.

Cons: I was told that the petrol tank was full and that I was to deliver it back full. I noticed that it was nearly empty at the end of my first day. I messaged but got no reply. When I delivered the car back to the airport an agent was supposed to meet me there, they didn't. I messaged and called but got no reply. Only when a rep from another car hire company called them did they turn up.

Pros: Friendly staff. No hard sell on extras - I had arranged my own insurance separately.

Cons: Only minor issues, but the van could have been cleaner especially the front windscreen which was dirty on the inside making driving at night initially challenging. There were no instructions for how to collapse the rear seat for passenger access which would have been helpful. In the end it took a lot of trial and error pulling various straps and pushing buttons to figure it out.

Pros: Excellent service. Fast, mobile and overall great costumer service. Rented a practically brand new Peugeot gt 208 in excellent condition, I am very satisfied with the car.

Pros: The service agents were super friendly and helpful. Shuttle service is quick and comfortable. Took no more than 10 minutes to return the car and no more than 20 to collect it. Best rental experience I’ve had with oblia airport and at a very good price.

Cons: Car was a bit grubby inside however it’s sardina (it’s dusty and sandy). A positive to this being they take a very fair approach of not expecting it back spotless like some do.

Pros: Vivid personnel that was very helpful. Whole in-processing was very fast, easy procedures. Personnel is providing you every needed information on every phase of renting a car. Office is clean and has A/C. They even offered umbrellas for spending time on beaches and water to drink just after arrival. Car was very good it could be said that it overclassed ordered one - it was bigger and had stronger engine of course for the same price! Car was quite new 2022 and only 6000km of mileage.

Cons: Hard to find. But to be super-drilling: there was no trash bin in front of the office. (It was hidden behind the office)

Pros: Collection of the vehicle was 2.5 hours late. Vehicle was in poor condition and dirty. Complaint raised with Felirent and Discover. No response feom Felirent amd the response from Discover did not deal with the issue. As there was no shuttle available at 08h00 I was forced to take a taxi to the airport which cost 40Euro. For the money saved on using Feiirent, I coukd have had a better deal with a proper rental company, and my tine would not have been wasted. The staff at Felirebt and very rude

Pros: I liked because the car was new.

Cons: I was waiting with my wife and my 3 months old baby for picking up the car for about more than 4 hours and a half. Can you imagine? I spent 4 hours and a half for picking up a car! I spent 4 hours and a half outside in Olbia, and in that day was 40 degrees outside. They don’t have enough space in the office for all customers, they don’t offer water for them…that’s inaccceptable to wait that long for pick up a car. I was waiting outside with other many people from Germany, and they can confirm.

Cons: The computer system of company was down when we were picking up the car, so we had to wait for about 1,5 hour and nobody told us what is going on and not even say sorry. In the instruction wasn't clearly said, we need to have credit card to not pay fee for having just debet card.

Cons: I had prepaid my rental in full, we could not find the shuttle pickup for an hour, when we finally called them, they showed up 45 minutes later, and refused to pick us up to get the car I had paid for. We were left stranded at the airport and ended up paying another $1000 for 5 day rental with another company. They are rude and don’t care if you have already paid. Never got my money back. I had NEVER been so humiliated for my money

Pros: Again quick and efficient. Helped us out hugely when we had a puncture and we're stuck. Picking up and dropping off the car was quick and didn't take up too much time. In olbia we had to call to get a bus to pick us up which was simple and easy.

Cons: The office felt like it was a way out of the airport but actually it wasn't too bad.

Pros: The agents went above and beyond to help me with the checkout and the check in process. Including driving with me to the nearest gas station so I could fill up the gas to the proper amount for return. We hadn’t been able to find an open station on our way there. It was super above and beyond for Ibrahim to physically show me where to fill up rather than charge me extra. They were very efficient and knowledgeable. And spoke English which was helpful because my Italian is poor.

Cons: It was slightly confusing where to do the pick up from the airport. We needed to call them to get the shuttle. This requires having an international phone plan that allows calling Italian numbers. Then all the information they shared was through WhatsApp which requires having that app downloaded. It was fine for us, but I could see it being confusing for a less tech savvy person.

Cons: I paid for two cars, one for me and one for my husband. The car for my husband was not issued even though the fee was collected in full - the reason was the payment card in my name. I was charged for the costs. The payment for my husband's car was not refunded to us. I strongly advise against it!!

Pros: Felirent is a very short shuttle ride away from the airport which I'd not come across when hiring a car before. However, this was so beneficial because unlike last year with a different car hire company, there was no waiting around at all. Everything was slick, highly professional and really quick. The car we received was upgraded from the one we had ordered and really suited us as a family of five. It looked brand new. We were very happy and will only use this company in future in Olbia.

Still waiting for deposit to be returned but read some complaints that this company scam people by not returning deposits. Hope this won't be the case but still makes me worry. Pros: We were able to book last minute. Were able to hire a small car which was good for the roads and parking in Sardinia. The car was in good condition once we got it. The only aspect I would improve would be the pick up process stated below. Otherwise it was a successful hire.

Cons: The pick up process from the airport was what needs improvement. We waited in 35 degrees for the bus, it arrived to not be able to fit the 2 of us, so we waited for the next one. Then at pick up to get the keys, it was very very slow approximately 45 minutes checking in and getting keys. The total from arriving at airport to getting car was 2 hours. At the end of rental I was texted to clarify details so they could return my deposit because the system hadn’t saved some of my details.

Discover Cars should cancel its contract with that company. Felirent will continue to charge the same damage to other client

Cons: We have rented a car abroad several times and always returned it on time. This lessor started sending a reminder on Friday whether we wanted to return the car on time. Later the location was sent again. We thought it was because it was so busy and that the car needed to be used again quickly. However, when returning it turned out that almost all cars were at the rental company. The landlord probably wanted to start the weekend quickly.
