Felirent at Olbia Airport

Pros: I liked because the car was new.

Cons: I was waiting with my wife and my 3 months old baby for picking up the car for about more than 4 hours and a half. Can you imagine? I spent 4 hours and a half for picking up a car! I spent 4 hours and a half outside in Olbia, and in that day was 40 degrees outside. They don’t have enough space in the office for all customers, they don’t offer water for them…that’s inaccceptable to wait that long for pick up a car. I was waiting outside with other many people from Germany, and they can confirm.

Pros: Condition and cleanliness of the car

Cons: The computer system of company was down when we were picking up the car, so we had to wait for about 1,5 hour and nobody told us what is going on and not even say sorry. In the instruction wasn't clearly said, we need to have credit card to not pay fee for having just debet card.

Pros: Nothing, do not waste your money

Cons: I had prepaid my rental in full, we could not find the shuttle pickup for an hour, when we finally called them, they showed up 45 minutes later, and refused to pick us up to get the car I had paid for. We were left stranded at the airport and ended up paying another $1000 for 5 day rental with another company. They are rude and don’t care if you have already paid. Never got my money back. I had NEVER been so humiliated for my money

Pros: The drop off was fast, nobody seem to care much. Except to charge for 1/4 of a tank when we received the car with an empty tank but no notes were made in our record.

Cons: It took 25 min to be picked up. The driver was speeding (80 km in a zone of 30) music blasting. The agents kept complaining about their hard day, it was way too busy! Agent was on the phone all the time while filling out our papers, he mentioned he was talking to his boss. (?) Fuel tank was empty, it was stressful to look for a gas station at 22:30. When returning the car, the first thing the agent mentioned was that the tank wasn’t full, we had to show her a picture of the dashboard,

Pros: The car windows were terribly dirty inside. The car was damaged and we had to report it as the agent said no damages.

Cons: Still waiting for my receipt after dropping the car. The cleanliness and the service could have been better. For instance the car was damaged but the agent reported no damages . We had to call her back out to mark the damages.

Pros: Great customer service and very friendly staff! Great cleanliness of cars and hassle free checkin/out process.

Pros: The staff were really helpful and they even give us a car upgrade. The drop off was easy and I got my deposit back quickly

Pros: We were very worried as a lot of car rentals have bad reviews in Sardinia. Felirent rental was super seamless. The car was a great size. Staff were lovely.

Cons: Trying to find the shuttle was a little difficult and not clear. Dropping off the car there was a long wait and we had a flight to catch

Pros: Siamo stati molto soddisfatti del servizio! È andato tutto davvero benissimo. Rapporto qualità/prezzo super! Il ritiro e il rilascio dell’auto sono stati veloci e puntuali. Consiglio vivamente di noleggiare l’auto con Felirent, ho trovato personale onesto e competente.

Pros: Again quick and efficient. Helped us out hugely when we had a puncture and we're stuck. Picking up and dropping off the car was quick and didn't take up too much time. In olbia we had to call to get a bus to pick us up which was simple and easy.

Cons: The office felt like it was a way out of the airport but actually it wasn't too bad.

Pros: The agents went above and beyond to help me with the checkout and the check in process. Including driving with me to the nearest gas station so I could fill up the gas to the proper amount for return. We hadn’t been able to find an open station on our way there. It was super above and beyond for Ibrahim to physically show me where to fill up rather than charge me extra. They were very efficient and knowledgeable. And spoke English which was helpful because my Italian is poor.

Cons: It was slightly confusing where to do the pick up from the airport. We needed to call them to get the shuttle. This requires having an international phone plan that allows calling Italian numbers. Then all the information they shared was through WhatsApp which requires having that app downloaded. It was fine for us, but I could see it being confusing for a less tech savvy person.

Cons: I paid for two cars, one for me and one for my husband. The car for my husband was not issued even though the fee was collected in full - the reason was the payment card in my name. I was charged for the costs. The payment for my husband's car was not refunded to us. I strongly advise against it!!

Pros: The gentleman walking us through the process of picking it up and dropping of the car was the same and was responsible for a very pleasant and smooth process.

Cons: Although we had instructions to stay at the A2 section of the parking lot, without any notice the gentleman that picked us up parked in another spot (more convenient to him) and didn't even came to warn us that he was here.

Cons: Ther was no add blue added to the car and the car came up with engine and add blue lights and the light came up on my 4th day wich ruined my holiday I couldn’t go anywhere on one day and Ther was no windscreen water.

Pros: Felirent is a very short shuttle ride away from the airport which I'd not come across when hiring a car before. However, this was so beneficial because unlike last year with a different car hire company, there was no waiting around at all. Everything was slick, highly professional and really quick. The car we received was upgraded from the one we had ordered and really suited us as a family of five. It looked brand new. We were very happy and will only use this company in future in Olbia.

Cons: When arrived to car rental they forced to buy a insurance which cost as much as car rental. In the end it cost me 2x more than planned. Reasoning was silly - I have debit card not credit card. They ignored when I said I have bought your insurance. And refused to give me a car. Still waiting for deposit to be returned but read some complaints that this company scam people by not returning deposits. Hope this won't be the case but still makes me worry. Companies ways of business seems unfair.

Pros: Although a different car was prepared for me than the one I ordered, it was a good choice. The car was better and almost new.

Pros: We were able to book last minute. Were able to hire a small car which was good for the roads and parking in Sardinia. The car was in good condition once we got it. The only aspect I would improve would be the pick up process stated below. Otherwise it was a successful hire.

Cons: The pick up process from the airport was what needs improvement. We waited in 35 degrees for the bus, it arrived to not be able to fit the 2 of us, so we waited for the next one. Then at pick up to get the keys, it was very very slow approximately 45 minutes checking in and getting keys. The total from arriving at airport to getting car was 2 hours. At the end of rental I was texted to clarify details so they could return my deposit because the system hadn’t saved some of my details.

Cons: The rental company has located far away from the airport. We waited an hour before they picked us up, even though I called 10 times. The staff was rude and wanted additional money, even though the rental was prepaid.

Cons: Waited ages to be picked up and taken to the depo Got the car, then realised there wasn’t t a car seat. The guy said he didn’t have any, even though we pre booked it. Told us to buy our own and he would refund us 100 euro. Spent 2 hours trying to find a shop that sold a car seat!!! The cheapest one was 140 euro. Why should we have spent our holiday buying a car seat?? And having to drive illegally with a 3 year old without a car seat in olbia. Dropped off the car and we were charged

Pros: Quick at picking off and dropping back the car and the transport from and to the airport with the shuttle car.

Cons: Extreme bureaucracy that there are no other payment possibilities than credit-card. We felt it that € 300 has been stolen from our holiday budget.

Cons: The were not being clear with me and try to make me pay an administrative tax of 50€. They said they were going to make it even but still waiting to see it. In the end it felt like a scam.

Pros: Nothing. They charged me 100€ for damages (small scratches) on the gummy of the front bumper. Impossible to see unless you lean on the ground. The person in charge of Felirent did it appositely to charge me additional charges. How can you imagine that clients controll previous damages before picking the car if those are situated underneath the car. This is pure robbery! Discover Cars should cancel its contract with that company. Felirent will continue to charge the same damage to other client

Cons: Office is cramped and a bit out of the way. Car rental is expensive here, but that goes for all agencias in Olbia. Rental car had little power - as rental cars usually do - which you will notice on the curvy and mountainous roads.

Cons: We have rented a car abroad several times and always returned it on time. This lessor started sending a reminder on Friday whether we wanted to return the car on time. Later the location was sent again. We thought it was because it was so busy and that the car needed to be used again quickly. However, when returning it turned out that almost all cars were at the rental company. The landlord probably wanted to start the weekend quickly.
