However, on later review of the documents they had misinformed about what was being signed and the signature was attached to a document admitting fault for the damage. Pros: The vehicle was very reasonable price. The car was new, clean and tidy. However, we would recommend that you photograph and video the car before driving away. We were told there was no damage to our car but we found some scratches and a dent (in the bumper) which was only apparent with a good inspection. Also the fuel was not full when we took the car. Ook hadden wij een fiat 500x gehuurd en die bleek niet eens in het assortiment te zitten (kregen wij te horen bij aankomst) maar staat wel op de site. Then by the address which I found in discover cars I was redirected nowhere, so I had to google the address. Pick up rules are not very clear. It is mentioned that the car will be reserved for "some time", that time period is not clear, apparently it is one hour. We were late for more than one hour so it was difficult to get another car and the lady working there was very impolite.

Cons: They only have 2 desks, meaning if one is busy you have to wait for ages, they don’t have a person at the parking to check/help finding the car. One downside: the parking is not near the office but on another road which makes it difficult to find the car.

Cons: We were running 50 mins late for our pickup as the airline had lost our luggage and galdieri used it as an excuse to rip us off. They said they had to cancel our original reservation as we were late then quoted me a new price for the same car that was 2.5x higher. They included full daily insurance and refused to take it out even though I already had insurance. They showed zero sympathy despite the fact that our luggage was lost and we're just looking to exploit the situation.

Cons: they provided me a broken car (gear box problems). The car was not able to go backward while on a ramp. I discovered the problem only on the Amalfy Coast the hard way. As I had an insurance bought through DiscoverCars, they refused any Road Assistance. Somehow, I returned the car and they changed it with a decent one, but it cost me the a day of my vacation. The cars were all dirty (windshield). They rent the cars as "perfect, no scratches", in their version on the contract !!!

Cons: The customer experience leaves a lot to be desired. I had to walk 500m from the office to a compound only to return back to the office because id been given the wrong keys. There was very little empathy from Galdieri Rent even though id walked 1.5 km because of their mistake. To top this and because of the stress and confusion trying to get the correct keys I also ended up loosing my wallet.

This meant the holiday was shortered and it was a massive rush to get the car back and then to the airport. Therefore i didnt have time to fill the tank, i had only done 100km in the car and i was charged £60 which is completely unreasonable. I was told i would recieve an email but i still haven't. Not good service in a situation like that, i would be grateful for some money returned.

Pros: When I picked the car the tank wasn't full. I took a picture and sent it to the agency. When I came back I filled the tank to full since the dial of the fuel did not move. So I got a half full tank and returned a full tank. The GaldieriRent agency say they will not refund the money. also when I picked the car I added 100 euros for full cover insurance, however when I had a flat tire I called the agency but they said it is not covered. I'm still waiting for them to check if I can get a refund
