Pros: Not much, the price was reasonable but that’s about it.

Cons: The shuttle bus took 30 minutes to arrive after being promised 10 minutes. The lady behind the desk was quite rude, she tried to sell additional insurance and then insisted we had to pay a €12 euro cleaning charge - which I later found out was already included in the original hire price. When dropping the van back we were made to wait as the same lady did not get to the branch until 8:45 (the branch opening time is 08:30) there was no apology from her just more rudeness. DO NOT USE TARGET RENT!!

Cons: The entire experience. Car was not full as per the rental agreement resulting in me having to guess how much gas to put in it and wasting a bunch of money. Was lied to by the rental agent and then scammed out of money at the end.

Pros: Very friendly, very thorough. They talked us through all the (very minor) damage that was already on the vehicle and encouraged us to take photos. Most thorough rental handover we've ever had, which we were glad of as we've been bitten before but unscrupulous rental companies. When dropping off the car they did the same thorough check with us and refunded the deposit quickly.

Cons: Slightly difficult to find the right location upon arrival.

Cons: Target rent is full cheater company. Our car has stolen last day. In the car it was our money, passports, driver license, and clothes. We are sure that this company made something against us. Car was locked and how they stolen we don't know. Also they treat us a lot of time to pay them extra charge. We had full ensurance from Discovery car. We are sure that this company is cheaters and they stole our money and passports.

Cons: The company is an extortion scan. How in any possible way a punctured tyre cost 1100 euros. There was no spare tyre in the car and we got charged for a spare, they stated that a new tyre cost over 350 euros however when I spoke to a local tyre centre for the same tyre it was 100 euros. Not only that when we landed in Naples we were told that we would have been picked up from the airport. Instead we had to walk to the rental branch (with one of our party being in a wheelchair).

Cons: I specifically booked for a fiat 500 car to experience Italy. I had done the booking 6 months in advance which should prioritise the car for me. Instead I got a Toyota Aygo because the agent said other people called few days ago and secured the fiat 500. This agent also charges a huge security bond deposit of 1200 euro which other rental agents such as Avis etc do not charge.

Pros: We arrived a bit early and they were able to accommodate an early pickup.

Cons: Most of the experience was good. Good value and staff was helpful. We were unaware of the requirement for an international driver license. After checking our confirmation it was listed in the details but it could have been made more explicit. We were able to rent without it but I recommend international renters be sure to get one before driving in Italy.

Cons: No shuttle service taxi to office cost €40 for 800 meters as we had no idea where it was . It was away from airport and other rental car offices . The car previous damage form showed a mark on front passenger tyre which resulted in the tyre blowing out on way to the holiday village fortunately my partner kept control of the car . He had to change the tyre for the spare before we could proceed . Office closed at 08 15 so could not hand car back or explain about tyre incident. Terrible experience

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 1390.00 - € 5000.00), Theft Protection, Third Party Liability (TPL), Airport surcharge, Free modifications, State Tax.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 19 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 26.

There is no maximum age.
A senior driver fee applies to drivers over the age of 76.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the driver license is written in a language other than that of the renting country and/or in characters that cannot be read in the renting country.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.
In order to pick up the car, the renter and each additional driver must present the following documents: passport, credit card, valid driver license, booking voucher.
Deposit and deductible policy
The deposit amount is from 1000 EUR to 2500 EUR, depending on the car group.
The deductible/excess amount is from 1390 EUR to 5000 EUR, depending on the car group.
Payment policy
At time of pick up, customers will be required to pay the amount of the rental and a deposit.
The following credit cards issued on the main driver's name are accepted: MasterCard, Visa. Any other cards or cash payments are not accepted. For the Luxury, Premium, Economy Elite, Cabrios, Special car group, a minimum of two credit cards issued on the main driver's name are required.

The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: GPS Navigation system, Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Snow chains.
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

All extras are available at the rental counter. Prices vary, depending on the rental period.

Delivery/Collection service is available within city limits. Additional charges will be applied, depending on the distance.

During the winter season (from 15.11 to 15.04), Snow chains are included in the price only when reserving a vehicle for the following location(s): Verona, Milan, Bergamo, Venice, Bologna.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Additional information
In case of renting at the airport location, the customer must provide a valid flight number in order to make a reservation.

By law, winter tires are mandatory on all roads from 15.10 to 15.04 in the following regions: Aoasta-Valley.
By law, winter tires are mandatory on all roads from 15.11 to 15.04 in the following regions: South Tyrol.
Snow chains are recommended in icy/snowy conditions, especially when traveling in mountainous areas.
Rental period
The maximum rental period per agreement is 30 days.
If the renter would like to extend the rental period, renter should return to the car hire office at the end of the rental period to sign a new agreement.
Business hours
Service outside of business hours is available by request and for an additional charge.

Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 59 minutes.
The grace period will be honored only during business hours.
