Pros: Absolutely nothing. The entire drop-off process was a complete scam.

Cons: FRAUD AND FORGED SIGNATURE ALERT! The Naples branch staff invented a fake issue during drop-off. They promised me via WhatsApp that no penalty would be applied and a refund would be issued (I have screenshots). Instead, they illegally force-charged my card. Worst of all, they FORGED my signature on the return document without my knowledge to justify the charge. I am pursuing criminal charges and a fraud chargeback. DiscoverCars needs to investigate this branch immediately for scamming tourists.

Cons: There was no signage at the shuttle meeting point, so it took us a while to find it. When we got to the rental office, the member of staff said barely 2 words. There was no information given. Next thing, he told us to sit on a bench and he drove off. 15 minutes passed before he returned with our car (it turns out it was at a different location and he had gone to collect it without explanation). The car was not in great condition, not clean and with many scratches and dents.

Pros: The younger staff are soo bad, unprofessional and unhelpful and rude that i would never choose this company again. Such staff are killing the brand and reputation of both Rent Smart 24 and of Discovercars.com by giving a bad, unhelpful, mean and rude experience to clients.

They think they are doing a favour to clients by giving them cars. The shuttle service made us wait for 45 mins and when we reached their car yard, they were fighting with each other and shouting. Cons: Location outside the airport in a rather hidden back-lot area. In case of traffic jams, this can be problematic. Main problem, however, was the completely unreasonable handling of an additional cleaning charge. According to the booking terms, the car only had to be returned in an “acceptably clean” condition. In our case, the only traces were normal sand residue from beach use with children. At drop-off I was told that everything was fine. Later they charged 183 € for this without any notice!

Cons: My travel plans were delayed making me 4 hours later than the two hour window i initially booked. I contacted the agent and yourselves. The agent said I can't pick up the car and to try discovery cars. After emailing, I had no reply so I had to pay for another car on a different supplier.

Cons: I received a dirty car, outside and inside, with the tire repair kit used, left in the trunk. I can pass about the clean of the vehicle, even if I was with my family with 3 little daughters, but about the security I can't pass over. If I was a foreign tourist, it would have been very complicated.

Cons: Pick-up was a bit slow and was not greeted promptly upon arrival despite 3 agents present and just 3 people waiting. The rental rate was for a Fiat 500 or similar. We didn't get the Fiat 500 but instead got a Fiat Panda Hybrid. It was in good clean condition except for a bit of rear bumper cosmetic damage. Drives well but would have preferred the beautiful Cinquecento.

Cons: pick up at airport we supposed to be included. Bus did not show up at described location. We needed to take a taxi. We payed for child carriers, but the one delivered was broken and not safe. All in all, a company I will not vouch for nor use again.

Pros: The car was clean and ready on arrival. After completing check in online the process was smooth and quick.

Cons: In the email provided the pickup location was marked wrong. We’ve waited 30min at the wrong location which resulted in a late pick up fee of 75€. To be 100% honest as our flight was delayed we would’ve missed the pick up time anyway, but the instructions where to go for the shuttle were not clear at all!

Pros: Cheap and cheerful operator close to the airport. Very friendly and helpful staff. Got a great deal on the hire. The cars aren't kept in the best condition - ours was dirty with upholstery stains and missing interior cover panels. This was all recorded on collection so that there were no problems on drop-off.

There is an additional charge “only accepted cash”. Should’ve been the first sign of the con for late drop-off. They will put this in the bill for additional charges even after you pay in cash and mention the cash was for drop off/ pick up from metro

The car lacked of windshield washing liquid. The key remote control to the car didn’t work (change the battery should fix!) There was a bad damage to the passenger door… the gentleman told me that it was done by the previous renter… they could have retired the car though this didn’t affect the ride. Just some feedback to get a 10* next time

Cons: Some confusion getting the courtesy shuttle bus at Naples airport. I had received two different sets of instructions of what to do at arrivals.

Pros: Efficient service on pickup and return at Naples. Good English spoken also which was of assistance personally. While a manual was ordered, I very much appreciated being allocated an automatic vehicle, being from NZ where driving is on the opposite side of the road. Automatic transmission meant one less concern.

Cons: I suggest clarifying the availability of transfer back to the airport after return of the vehicle. Currently, the wording simply repeats, word for word, the initial transfer from the airport to collect the vehicle. Concerning insurance, I think wording could be improved. I paid for "Full Coverage (Limit 5000 NZD)" but then was invited by RentSmart24 during online check-in to pay for the "Comfort Package". I took this, but was unclear about the meaning of "limit", and also what excess applied.

Also the agent insisted on copying my credit card details incl. CVV into their computer, which aslo worried me and it felt very uncomfortable.
