Pros: Rental agents were friendly and helpful. Car size we received was as requested and adequate for our trip. Returning the car was easy and quick and agent was cooperative.

Cons: Atendentes muito grosseiros e sem paciência para atender estrangeiros que não falam a língua nativa.

Pros: Fast & easy pick-up. No pushing of extra insurance or anything at pick-up. Ease on checking the car / dropping off the car, no delays or anything. Very smooth process overall. Car had some scratches that were already registered, but it's expected from a car used in Italy.

Cons: Nothing.

Cons: The woman on the desk was rude, condescending, impatient and unfriendly. The original damage report given was incomplete and when we took photos, showed the damage to a representative and asked for an updated report, we never received it in spite of asking on serveral occasions.

Pros: Easy and quick proces of picking up and dropping off the car. Frequent shuttle bus from/to airport. We got bigger car than expected. Quick return of deposit. We got back ours after less than two hours we dropped off the car.

Cons: I didn't like the service. Both employees were unsympathetic. We said that we had a reservation from the previous day and that when we went to the agency it had already closed. The next day we went and we no longer had a car. We needed the car to move from Napoli to Pompeii at 20h because we are going to continue our trip and we had a reservation in Pompeii. The company even said it wasn't interested in how we're going to resolve the situation. if we wanted to rebook car it was 600€

Cons: Horrible service. At the desk they were dismissive and rude, but we could handle it. When we went to get our booked 4+ doors car, they gave us a 3 door car and refused to exchange it for the one we had booked and paid for. They aggressively told us that we did not need one, because it was just the 2 of us, even though we had selected and paid for a 4+ door car.

Cons: They tried to mark spots that were already marked before pick up but we were well prepared with photos. I know it is hard to believe we did not have a single accident in Naples,Italy but thank you for your credit and my excellent driver skills.

Cons: we came about 2 hours later than the time for which we ordered the car, that's true, but after quite a long waiting on the line, I was told that we can't get an automatic gear car as I ordered, only manual gear left. This is because we were more than 2 hours late for pick up, so they gave the car to someone else. Luckily I have a driving license for manual gear, but this is certainly not my preference while driving abroad - to remember and practice. otherwise we would have stuck with no car...

Pros: Car was quite new. Good process to drop off car at the airport in Rome.

Cons: Long process to pick up car. Car was not the same or very similar to the one rented - much smaller but no reduction in price. 18 days after drops g the car back the bond or ‘hold’ which is actually a charge to the credit card has still not been refunded. Communications are non existent despite enquiries via website.

Cons: First car broke down twice due to a faulty battery. This company should do better to evaluate the cars they give to customers. Had to call the company twice to get support. The first time they gave me a jump. The second to a requested a new vehicle to avoid further issues during my vacation.

Pros: Nothing as i did not receive the rental car. Everything was weird about their service as they were changing their story. First i was only able to use credit card, 5 minutes later debit card was suddenly an option with weird extra demands.

Cons: Sicilybycar homepage says you can use debit card as a "cover" and that's the reason why i picked them. When i tried to go and pick up rental car from the Naples airport, the worker said i can't use debit card. After showing him that it's literally written on their webpage, he said "OK you can use, but you have to pay 750€ deposit and send us your return flight tickets." I tried to explain that the checkin starts 24 hours before flight so i can't send flight tickets as the flight was in 4 days.

Pros: Aside from the windscreen wiper the car was a lovely car to drive and in good condition.

Cons: The car was supplied in a broken condition (rear windscreen wiper) and then was logged as damaged by us when dropping off the car even though we have photographic proof that we tried to show to the rental attendant.

Cons: Customer service is horrible. Any problem you report, these Nobel prices on the other side of the phone, keep telling "No worries, keep driving." I have no oil in the engine and the engine was goign to stop after several kilometers. I was away form my house and around Italy for work. Listening to their stupid problem solving solutions was irritating. In USA you would not survive one week.

The car was dirty. 4. We had to refill the AdBlue ourselves, but employees at the counter refused to compensate as they "do not have cash and the manager went home" - and then started ignoring us.

Cons: I have my own Excess insurance policy for car hire. When I told them, they made out that it was not valid in Italy, and that I would not be insured if I did not take theirs. As this was my first rental experience in Italy, I didn't feel like taking the chance, and paid. However, having chatted to my policy company, it seems that my policy would have been valid. I have not had the same issue in Spain or France, and have rented several times a year for 15 years. I won't be using SBC or DCH again

Cons: Dreadful service on pick up. Agent demanded that I sign the declaration that I agree with their assessment of damage on the car before even seeing the car. When I refused they were unhappy and made me sign it to get the keys. Then I brought to their attention that there was a lot more damage on the vehicle (large dents, full areas without paintwork, etc) which wasn't on the form I had signed. They refused to come to the parking lot so made me drive it to their front desk. Shocking experience

Cons: this is not particular to Sciliy by Car but when you pick up a car at night in a poorly lit compound and are asked to note down existing damage - its a pure farce. there needs to be exceptioally well lit areas to carry out such examinations

Cons: Check out was a little difficult. Needed to printout the two documents. Hard to do without a printer. Needed to exchange emails and documents. Need to simplify the paperwork/checkout process.

Cons: Hidden payments. Insurance is not included. Too high deposit charged (not returned yet). No customer service phone 24/7, which will result in additional 100 EUR to be charged from me, which is 60% of the initial rental cost. I would not use Sicily By Car again.

Pros: My at bad an unexpected dent on the passenger side making it hard for the passenger to open the door. The agent, Nicola fixed the issue by pulling the dent out and also offering us a new car. (Apparently this damage was not checked from the last person to use it or it was overlooked). Our agent was very good at helping get us out fast and get us a car in great condition.

We were required to add a second driver all to have my boyfriend use his credit card to authorize the insurance amount for the car. I made the reservation and the initial down payment. I was willing to pay for the remainder of the reservation and my boyfriend was wanting to put the rest on his card. It was absurd the way in which we were treated and how the policy required us to pay extra in order to authorize a card. Won't use again
