Pros: Staff were really helpful and efficient. From pick up to drop off. I had heard stories of unscrupulous companies in Italy, but Rental Plus staff and company were very good to deal with. I would definitely recommend them and will be using them when we come back to Italy. The first car we got had an issue with A/c not working, took it back and they changed the car and paperwork without any issues very quickly.

Cons: The portable office in Naples would benefit from A/C. First car didn’t have working A/C could do with checking this when cars come back in. Also beware they do charge a cleaning fee if the car comes back with dirty interior. We stopped off before handing back to vacuum inside.

Pros: Mandela checked the car on our return the Rental plus. She was very polite and intelligent to talk to. We had no problems with the not perfect basic car -a Lancia Ypston. The shuttle bus is a light blue and the driver was helpful. You get the shuttle from parking area 4 across the road just outside the airport entrance terminal 1. Look for the White Chimmey/Funnel in the carpark; as there is no signpost when exiting the airport. Cosmetically the car fits in with Italy.

Rental car was not available so we were offered a much smaller car or a van type car which was bigger than the compact SUV requested. Although we had space it made it more difficult to park in the already tight Otalian parking spaces. There was an attempt to upsell to different car which was annoying as it was closer to one we ordered. Drop off took 45 minutes. Can inspection was seamless but it took forever to get the shuttle

Cons: It would be a good idea to advise customers to have cash for the automated autostrada toll booths - which in Napoli does NOT take foreign credit or debitcards as far as I can see. Extremely stressfull to have cars piling up behind us without anyone answering on the speaker. Maybe a manned booth would be the best choice if one is not familiar with the system.

Cons: The car provided to us was unsafe to drive with bulges on the car tyres. The rental refuse to switch the car to another one. Moreover the rental provider had something wrong with the payment machines. None of my husbands credit or debit cards were accepted. When suggested to pay with my card,the rental refused to accept it as I was not a listed driver. The booking agent was unavailable to contact immediately to change driver details on the booking forcing us to pay for additional driver scam!

Pros: Incredible value for money and can’t fault their service. Very friendly at the desk. Will use them again! Car had a big scrape on the side but there aren’t many cars in Naples that are in perfect condition! Only a minor complaint.

Cons: It was hard to find the service desk. At pickup, the address given on DiscoverCars was across the street from the Rental Plus lot, and there was minimal signage to find RentalPlus within the lot. For drop-off, I ended up having to drive around the lot a while to find the drop-off location. The address was incorrect, the signage pointed to a lot where the RentalPlus was not located, and by the time I found and got to the correct lot, I had used enough gas from my full tank that I incurred fees.

Cons: A lot of the existing damages needed photo proof on delivery of the car. This should have been known by them already. Their and my advice is to take pictures of all damage and video record the car 360 on hand out.

Pros: The car was ok, but it was not what we selected. Rental plus is slow in the reception and car delivery. It took quite a time, and it was very hot. At returning the car in Bari, it was difficult to find the delivery office. The guy there was very good, efficient and spoke in spanish, what was really good!

Cons: Closes at 8:0, so flight delay meant no airport shuttle pick up and we had to hire another car from another company and return the next day to collect our car. We waited 30+ minutes for the shuttle back to the airport and the bus only had 8 seats, 4 of group of 6 us ended up walking to the airport as another company put their customers on first.

Pros: At least we could drop off the car quickly with 30 people waiting. We didn’t have to stand in a line to give back the keys. The only thing we couldn’t do with the rep was go over the car together.

They said they upgraded us, but it seems like we got a downgraded car because it’s all they had. Not impressed would not rent here again if we came to Napoli.

Esso right at the entrance to refuel before drop off. Quick glance around and we’d dropped off in 2 minutes flat. Straight into a shuttle and back to the airport - great service all round.

Cons: The rental voucher said to meet a representative in airport arrivals. No show. The phone number on the voucher does not exist so I couldn’t call them to ask where they were. I took a taxi to the address listed on the voucher. A note on the door said they’d moved!! I couldn’t find another taxi so had to walk with baggage to their new address. Upon arrival there was no apology for the no show at the airport or the fact that their phone number no longer exists. 3 hrs wasted. Not happy.

Cons: There was a 30 minute wait for the bus transfer back to the airport after dropping off the car - this was a bit stressful as we were nearly late for the flight. Also some companies allow you to provide details (driving licence etc) online before the booking - this could save you a lot of time! Clearer instructions on how to locate the transfer bus stop on arrival at Naples would also be helpful- perhaps a small map in the booking email.

If this was not enough the car not only was aesthetically damaged but wasn't serviced and had to top up the oil. The desk told me they would refund my oil receipt but haven.t yet

Pros: The staff were friendly and helped us to solve a problem. I would consider renting with them again, based on the kindness of the staff and basic familiarity with how they run their operation. They offered good pricing and were nice to work with. Drop off was easy. Most rental companies in Naples are not in the airport so pay attention to this when booking, there are shuttles to bring you back and forth, but it is a bit chaotic (especially when tired from travel).

Cons: Overall the staff was pleasant, it seems there is a difference between what is offered and what actually happens and honestly, most people at the counter were very frustrated by the 'bait and switch' feeling of it all. If flights were delayed, the cars were canceled and given to others (if booked between a third-party vendor). They also advertised 'meet and greet', - however, they shuttle you to the office. Any issues or changes to the original booking will cancel or increase your fees.

It was chaotic trying to find where we needed to go to collect the car - there were no directions, no one to ask. We then had a 1km walk with all baggage and suitcases across busy roads and through the chaotic airport road system to find the location. This is totally not good enough and i would not use the company again based on this misinformation

Pros: Very good service, we changed who was driving and they managed to do it with no problems. Only problem was when we got our voucher it said we had ‘meet and greet’ at the airport and told us to look for someone holding a sign. We waited almost an hour for someone to then ring them and them say it’s a shuttle bus instead. But overall really good!

Cons: I was late by 2 hours to pick up the car. When I arrived I found out that my car was given to another customer and there was no alternative car to give me. I had to rent a much more expensive car with another agency, and DiscoverCars do not agree to refund me on my down payment.

We had some trouble finding the pick-up point (noted as meet and greet on booking, but apparently we needed to get the shuttle bus to the RentalPlus office.
