Automania at Naples Airport

Pros: Advance check in which led to fast check in time. Drop off took a bit longer but still very efficient.

Cons: The car was a bit sub standard. It had an electrical fault as the tyre pressure gauge came on even after we had checked the pressures twice & wouldnt resent. No Apple play for sat nav. Very basic. No rear parking. Paid a similar amount with a competitor and got a far better car.

Pros: Professional and friendly.

Cons: Pick up at B2. The what’s app pictures guided us, but the airport sign B2 was not clearly signed by the airport.

Cons: The check of che, accurancy (kms in the rental agreement were not correct; damage were not detected, i had to ask for, fuel was not full

Cons: I didn’t receive the same level of service when I dropped the car off. There was no greeting, and the staff seemed very focused on inspecting the car, almost as if they were looking for something to be wrong. They pointed out some damages, but fortunately I had pictures from when I picked it up.

Cons: The process of check-in/check-out. Damages which officer found weren't obvious (photos of car which had been made before rental had not been clear). Check-in/check out documents had a mistakes and weren't show what was damaged.

Cons: Attempted to add charges , claiming car was not "clean" at return. We rented car for 19 days. Car had normal exterior and interior road dust, etc, nothing out of ordinary. Did they expect us to drive through a car wash? Get car vacuumed? Cheap treatment in an otherwise good renting experience. Advice -- don't do this clean car ploy. Automania has to wash and vacuum car for next customer anyway. Geez.

Pros: I have been renting cars almost on a monthly basis in the Naples airport area in The past year and this rental is probably the best so far. Pick up and drop off are seamless, they do not try to sell you additional services and insurances, everything is sent to your inbox including cars photos at pickup. They also have a shuttle service from/to airport terminal that I did not have to use this time. Very pleased and will rent again here

Cons: To rent a car, a security deposit must be paid using a credit card. If you only have a debit card, you are required to purchase full coverage insurance, regardless of any existing insurance you may have obtained through Discovercars. . This insurance costs over €30 per day.

Pros: They gave me a car only 75% full. When I ask them about this problem, the rental agent told me that the tank indicator doesn't work, and of course, the tank was really full. At the time of returning the car I filled the tank and the indicator showed that the tank was full. They didn't give any money back for the difference.
