Automania at Naples Airport

Pros: It was not sure where the car provider is situated. Even though it was 5 min walk from the airport we had to wait for a shuttle and stuck in a traffic jam for 45min. Some easy to find walking map would avoid all this negative experience

Cons: Shuttle service provided from airport when the car rental is 5 min walk from an airport. If they send us some GPS location we would gladly rather walk to them then to wait for a shuttle and stuck in a traffic jam for more then an hour.

Pros: Value for money was fantastic as were the staff, car and proximity to the Airport.

Pros: Great price, decent car, worked with us around late check in after delayed flight and lost luggage.

Cons: We had an after hours charge, which is part of the contract, but a downside of using an off-airport rental agency. The car had a bit higher mileage than most rentals we have had, but performed fine.

Pros: GPL allowed us to save on gas money but it would have been good to warn us about it before we got a warning on the highway for an empty tank…

Cons: The car we expected was a Jeep. We got a “DR” (never heard this brand before) of similar size but very poor power. Luggage space was limited.

Pros: They were all invaluable to get us on the road and on our trip. The drop off was also easy. Both ends, ie. the pick up and drop off ran smoothly.

Cons: When returning the vehicle, they claimed there were new damages/ scratches… and would not listen to us or look at original pictures- then sent us a bill for 518 Euro.

Pros: It Was very quick to get pick up the car and friendly team.

Cons: I didn’t receive the same level of service when I dropped the car off. There was no greeting, and the staff seemed very focused on inspecting the car, almost as if they were looking for something to be wrong. They pointed out some damages, but fortunately I had pictures from when I picked it up.

Cons: The process of check-in/check-out. Damages which officer found weren't obvious (photos of car which had been made before rental had not been clear). Check-in/check out documents had a mistakes and weren't show what was damaged.

Cons: Attempted to add charges , claiming car was not "clean" at return. We rented car for 19 days. Car had normal exterior and interior road dust, etc, nothing out of ordinary. Did they expect us to drive through a car wash? Get car vacuumed? Cheap treatment in an otherwise good renting experience. Advice -- don't do this clean car ploy. Automania has to wash and vacuum car for next customer anyway. Geez.

Pros: I have been renting cars almost on a monthly basis in the Naples airport area in The past year and this rental is probably the best so far. Pick up and drop off are seamless, they do not try to sell you additional services and insurances, everything is sent to your inbox including cars photos at pickup. They also have a shuttle service from/to airport terminal that I did not have to use this time. Very pleased and will rent again here

Cons: To rent a car, a security deposit must be paid using a credit card. If you only have a debit card, you are required to purchase full coverage insurance, regardless of any existing insurance you may have obtained through Discovercars. . This insurance costs over €30 per day.

Pros: They gave me a car only 75% full. When I ask them about this problem, the rental agent told me that the tank indicator doesn't work, and of course, the tank was really full. At the time of returning the car I filled the tank and the indicator showed that the tank was full. They didn't give any money back for the difference.
