Automania at Naples Airport

Pros: Staff polite and accommodating.

Cons: Condition of the vehicle, an excessive amount of dents and scratches and then charged me 400€ for a simple scratch. The vehicle was left in their care for three days during the rental period as I travelled out of country and the scratch could have occurred while under their supervision. I would advise to purchase their insurance. Although I have insurance it is an inconvenience to get the money back

Cons: Car provided in a dangerous, not road worthy condition with defective tyres, unwillingness to sort the issue when pointed out at pick up, unwillingness to help when flat tyre issue become apparent during hire, charging excessive amount for then damage I did not cause.

Pros: The people who picked us up and brought us back to the airport, were both very nice and friendly

Cons: The car was really not what we expected I have rent more cars before, but they have been better then this time

Pros: I travel to Italy regularly and often. My experience with Automania was excellent. Smooth cooperation from the very beginning, quick car pickup, and fast return process. All information was clear and reliable. We received an excellent car — a Peugeot 3008 that was practically brand new. A very positive experience overall. Pros: Reasonably fast drop off.

Cons: Given car was in dangerous and unsafe condition. Front tires worn, in 500 km metal cords started sticking out. Company refuses any communication, ignores whatsapp, drops calls saying you are on your own. I had to buy brand new tires out of my pocket. Renter gave instructions to me only after discovercars agent stepped in.

Pros: Brilliant car hire company. No problem at any stage.

Pros: It was not sure where the car provider is situated. Even though it was 5 min walk from the airport we had to wait for a shuttle and stuck in a traffic jam for 45min. Some easy to find walking map would avoid all this negative experience

Cons: Shuttle service provided from airport when the car rental is 5 min walk from an airport. If they send us some GPS location we would gladly rather walk to them then to wait for a shuttle and stuck in a traffic jam for more then an hour.

Pros: Value for money was fantastic as were the staff, car and proximity to the Airport.

Pros: Great price, decent car, worked with us around late check in after delayed flight and lost luggage.

Cons: We had an after hours charge, which is part of the contract, but a downside of using an off-airport rental agency. The car had a bit higher mileage than most rentals we have had, but performed fine.

Cons: The car we expected was a Jeep. We got a “DR” (never heard this brand before) of similar size but very poor power. Luggage space was limited.

There was no greeting, and the staff seemed very focused on inspecting the car, almost as if they were looking for something to be wrong. They pointed out some damages, but fortunately I had pictures from when I picked it up.

Cons: Attempted to add charges , claiming car was not "clean" at return. We rented car for 19 days. Car had normal exterior and interior road dust, etc, nothing out of ordinary. Did they expect us to drive through a car wash? Get car vacuumed? Cheap treatment in an otherwise good renting experience. Advice -- don't do this clean car ploy. Automania has to wash and vacuum car for next customer anyway. Geez.

Pros: I have been renting cars almost on a monthly basis in the Naples airport area in The past year and this rental is probably the best so far. Pick up and drop off are seamless, they do not try to sell you additional services and insurances, everything is sent to your inbox including cars photos at pickup. They also have a shuttle service from/to airport terminal that I did not have to use this time. Very pleased and will rent again here

Cons: To rent a car, a security deposit must be paid using a credit card. If you only have a debit card, you are required to purchase full coverage insurance, regardless of any existing insurance you may have obtained through Discovercars. . This insurance costs over €30 per day.

Pros: They gave me a car only 75% full. When I ask them about this problem, the rental agent told me that the tank indicator doesn't work, and of course, the tank was really full. At the time of returning the car I filled the tank and the indicator showed that the tank was full. They didn't give any money back for the difference.
