Cons: Europcar made our trip as miserable as possible. charged me for existing scratch - europcar were swift on communication, but once I sent evidence of it being on car up on collection, I haven't heard back for a week now... They charge for damage, but actually doesn't repair car and rents it out damaged to next customer and we were victim of missed damage.

Pros: Upon arrival at the airport, I was directed to the bus transfer service and then to the Europcar desk. They were not aware of my booking and I needed to book an alternative car at extra cost.

Cons: There were no clear directions on where to go upon arrival at the airport. Then the Eureopcar desk knew nothing of my booking. I have lost all the money I gave Keddy / DiscoverCars upfront.

Pros: We love the dropp off, un extremely kind staff that takes ONLY the necessary time to treat everything.

Cons: cleaning was horrible. the car had a lot of defects (scratches and crashes). they tried to get us to take out another insurance with them assuring that our full coverage was not adequate in case of an accident. Furthermore, we paid for a B segment and an A segment was delivered, clarifying that there was no other option. we wore upset but with no other option.

Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 1300.00), Theft Protection, Third Party Liability (TPL), Airport surcharge, Road tax, Vehicle registration fee, Free modifications, Railway fee, Port fee.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 21 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.

There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 3 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the customer is not a resident of the following country(ies): United Kingdom, EU.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if it is accompanied by a regular driver's license, is issued by an official authority or government-authorized organization, and is in physical (not digital) form.
Deposit and deductible policy

Available special equipment: GPS Navigation system, Child seat (2-4 years of age), Snow chains.
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.


Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Electric vehicles must be returned with the same battery charge they had when picked up to avoid additional charges (on a per kWh basis). An additional admin fee will be charged if a vehicle is returned with less than 80 % battery charge remaining.
Additional information
By law, winter tires are mandatory on all roads from 15.10 to 15.04 in the following regions: Aoasta-Valley.

Snow chains are recommended in icy/snowy conditions, especially when traveling in mountainous areas.
