Rent a Car 4Less at Fort Lauderdale Airport

Pros: Nothing… It was the worst experience that I have ever had and I will do what I can on social media to tell as many people as I can about the horrible experience.

Cons: Everything from the hour wait to get picked up at the airport to the hidden charges to the beat up, rusted old car that you rent to me.

Pros: Everything is automated which is nice and the price was great.

Cons: A bit difficult to pick-up the vehicle as it's outside of the airport and no clear way to get picked up and dropped off.

Told me i didnt have a choice but to pay “loss of use” fee saying in FL it was required, turns out thats also a lie. i will be disputing the charges with my credit card as I was contracted for $77 but was charged $206

Cons: It’s a scam. I prepaid online to rent a car at ft lauderdale airport and when I arrived they told me the car hadn’t been returned and they didn’t have a different one for me. Said they had a 12 hour window to get me a rental. Nope. Already gave them a three week window and they failed to deliver. Definitely do not use these acumbags

Pros: Absolutely terrible experience and I am owed money back for insurance on a car that you were unable to rent me for your own computer issues. I could not call you because of some problem on your end and no one ever responded to my email.

Cons: The difficulty in getting there, the fact that there was no live human in the office and I had to figure a lot out on my own, the guy on the screen was unhelpful, a car was never issued to me because your own computer could not connect with the bank and I never got refunded the $39.29 paid on insurance.

Will make you buy their insurance , will not send receipts of rental and will charge for fake damage. They also will take a huge deposit even though you buy their insurance / RED FLAG 🚩 I rent cars all the time in Fort Lauderdale from many different companies - I have never dealt with any company like this before. should have listened to my gut feeling ,don’t rent here

Cons: Initial charge about $40. After all additional fees $160. That is 4 times what I expected to pay. Extremely absurd to add that much in fees while at the pick up location. Fees should be on the online checkout page. I feel like this is rather predatory and wouldn’t recommend a business that operates like that to anyone.

Pros: This is a SCAM COMPANY...there was a vacant container with a monitor on the wall!!! It was 120 degrees inside, the rep that came up on the screen didn't speak English, she had no reservation, couldn't operate the license scanner and told us she couldn't rent us a car without it! We had to call UBER to pick us up and return us to the airport to get in line for a car from an on-site rental. UBER cost $58, we landed at 10am didn't get back to the airport until 5pm spent and didn't get a car til 7pm

Cons: There was no service! No human, no reservation! Thank GOD I was not alone after dark stranded without a phone to call for help!

Cons: They initially offer you a lower price to rent a car than the other companies. When you show up to pick up car they hit you with several “mandated” extra fees and the final price ends up being more than double of the original “low” price you thought you were going to pay. You are basically at their mercy when you show up with your family after a long flight, kids restless, wife hungry, etc., and you have no other choice but to pay the doubled price. I’d advise to rent from major rental companies

Pros: Nothing! Duped me with the wrong car. Would not provide an alternative car. My only option was to be stranded or wait days for my money back.

Cons: I didn’t like the fact you did not provide with the rental car that I selected. You did not offer any solutions. You placed my family in a very dangerous situation. We were visitors to Florida and there was no other way we could reach our hotel.

Cons: I felt like I was tricked to get me there by lying to me on the price. The voucher I was given online was not honored. Instead I had to pay more than double the amount I was told in order to get the car

Pros: I picked up the vehicle friday night drove 2 and a half hours turned the car off and it was dead . Call the next morning was told by a female to go on the trunk get the jumper cables and jump the car.i did turned off car dead again. Kinda strange there were jumper cables in the trunk. Then she told me someone would come out and swap the car. This was appx 11am. Nobody showed . Called back at 4 told someone was coming called back at 9 was told nobody was coming .

Pros: I was sent to the email for problems and comments only to be ignored. I feel bad for not notifing the bbb about the vehicle safety. I actually will because of the fact that the three cars available where not safe to drive

Cons: Car had no brake lights, windshield wipers needed replacing couldn’t see when it rained. Car needed brakes and shook everytime i stepped on the pedal. Car smelled like cigarettes and it also had 53,000 miles on it. They should’nt of had this vehicle in rotation at all, it was very dangerous with my kids riding inside. When i called to inform the company of the vehicle condition they were very rude and not concerned about what i was saying.
