Ace Rent a car at Fort Lauderdale Airport

Pros: Agent ACE don’t giving car early for 30 min. Need waiting time reservation.

Pros: Upon pickup car tire pressure was lit. Agent took cars to inflate tire. I expressed my concern that tire may deflate later if there is a small leak that need to be fixed. Agent said it should be the case. After drove up the tire low pressure came up and stayed lit i was concern of flat tire but it appeard the tire pressure measuring was not working or tire had small leak and needed fix.

Pros: Professional staff, they also acknowledged that I was a frequent customer.

Pros: Car was very low end and I thought I was getting an SUV and it was a hatchback smaller car

Pros: The agents are very slow on purpose so that they spend 10 mins per prepaid clients in upgrading car / Gas / Toll and mainly insurance to create more commission for the agent

Pros: Wouldn’t recommend booking a car through a 3rd party. There are a lot of hidden fee / additional fees when you physically arrive at the front desk. A lot of bate and switch tactics.

Cons: Did not receive the vehicle I paid for or off similar size. Ace rental gave us a smaller vehicle instead.

Cons: Car was a lot worse brand (Mitsubishi) than what was advertised (Honda/Toyota).

Pros: Your staff was very friendly, especially the girl outside, who checked me out and checked me in. I think her name was Jessica.

Cons: I thought that the actual charge should've been more upfront I thought I was actually paying a lower price, I understand there's a lot of fine print, but the bottom line total cost for each day should be outlying pretty clear, but I wasn't unhappy with the car rental at all. I still feel you guys offer one of the best values. I just think it all needs to be spelled out, but thanks for the rental

Cons: I was required to provide a document that was not listed in the required . When I was unable to pick up the car, the rental agent told me I wouldn’t be charged as I had not taken the car. This was not correct as my card had been charged.

Cons: Low tire pressure warning light was on in rental. They inflated one tire which took care of warning light, but another tire was also low- warning light came back. I wish they had taken time to check all pressures and properly inflated tires.

Pros: The car was nice and clean, and well taken care of.

Cons: The car smelled so strongly of cigarette smoke covered up by cheap air freshener that we struggled to breathe the first three days we had it. There was absolutely no windshield wiper fluid, and one of the tires had incredibly low tire pressure that we need to address.

Cons: The line was long to get the car and took 45 minutes to reach the agent. The car broke down and no one answered the phone. It took four times each of waiting 30-45 minutes to reach someone. Several times the line went dead after waiting 30 minutes. The tow driver called 5 hours later and finally picked up the car the next day since we had long abandoned the car.

Cons: They were out of the car I reserved, but charged me for an upsell on the car they had available, which was semi understandable since my flight was delayed, but it's usually accommodated at no extra charge with larger rental companies.

Cons: I had to put air in one of the tires the front passenger side everyday because the tire was damaged and losing air

Pros: Price of car rental, and location being at the airport.

Pros: Ace car rentals are a rip off , they charged $100 extra stating various reasons .

Cons: ACE rental staff is rude . They are scammers , all other rental companies helped customer during storms and the inconveniences but ace tried to make money out of it .

Pros: Interior of 3rd car was beyond filthy and disgusting. I have photos. 1st car check engine light came on when we got to resort. Had to return it the next day. We were given a subcompact vehicle next. Our luggage wouldn't fit. The oil light came on in the 3rd vehicle the 2nd day we had it. We had to buy oil for it or return another car. We bought oil. Worst experience ever!!!

Cons: We liked absolutely nothing about this experience. Have never been treated with such disrespect. I have never seen my husband so upset in the 20+ years we've been together. The garage workers we dealt with should be fired!

Cons: They charged us for collision damage insurance when we paid for full coverage and our credit card specifically covers Collision and third party liability. We told them that and we were still charged. We called them and they advised that it was in the fine print of the agreement. Do they are entitled to charge us. We are contesting the charge

Cons: check out and check in of the car is a bit more difficult than the norm as they check the car for damages carefully in and out. Understandable, but more cumbersome than competitors. Took the insurance, so I did not care, but had to wait. only one person to do this, so it is a bit slower even at the off hours I traveled there was a backup.

Cons: we were early to pick up the car- and the car wasnt ready until the exact minute of our rental contract, we waited quite awhile and i find it very hard to believe the car was "turned around" and readied in that time.

Cons: ACE will not keep your car for little bit longer when your plane is delayed several hours, even when communicated. Seems they will not honor basic insurance from your own policy. Have to buy it.

Cons: Our flight was delated by one day so I called Ace Car Rental at Fort Lauderdale to let them know we would be picking up our car later. They told me this was fine. When we got to Ace in Fort Lauderdale, we were told our car reservation was canceled. They were able to get us another car but we have to pay $85.00 additional dollars and did not get the car we reserved.

Pros: I liked the ease of renting a car so late at night

Cons: The rental car agent lied about my reservation and said it was canceled even though I had the voucher. In fact I was actually early to pick up the rental. Because she said it was canceled she said she was have to charge me an extra $70 but would give me a different car. I wasn’t about to argue in the middle of the night so I just dealt with it. Upon returning the car, the agent that was doing the returns was taking forever. I don’t appreciate being hassled while I’m trying to rent a car.

I was supposed to pay a total of 584 with the insurance for the week and ended up paying over 900 dollars and when I spoke to the agent she said it was in the agreement online and I then showed her the agreement and receipt online she unable to show where it said I had to pay the additional 300 and would not get her supervisor or release the rental without the extra 300
