Pros: Once we got in the shuttle the driver was nice and the rest of the pick-up process was smooth. The online check in did maybe save a minute in the office. The car was nice, worked well, and was fun to drive.

Cons: The shuttle pick-up point could have been explained more clearly. Specifics like which exited from the airport to take and which direction to go, and also that you don't need to stop by the office in the parking lot even though International Car has signage there. So we wasted a little bit of time trying to find the shuttle. The drop off was a bit of a nightmare. We arrived to find the three staff in a heated argument with other customers so that wasn't a good look. They didn't attend to us.

Pros: Process was simple and we had no issues with this car hire during our stay.

Cons: Car should have been cleaner and it smelt quite bad of smoke from a previous hire. Windscreen was very sticky and dirty. Outside of that, the car was fine.

Pros: We got arrangements to bring the car earlier at 6 am and no one was there until 6:30 am we almost miss how flight because of it

Pros: Extremely poor service, unhelpful and disrespectful vehicle, and check before given vehicle not roadworthy, and would be an MOT fail however, adamant that a cracked on a wing mirror cover was ours which wasn’t the case obviously hadn’t done their checks correctly and blamed us after taking a video of all damage requested via video but they couldn’t provide and had no evidence. I’m still charged us keep away!!!

Cons: Vehicles not checked unroadworthy staff extremely unhelpful. Couldn’t care less if they tried just want to take your money literally thieves

Cons: it is 15 mins away, so you have to add it to your plan, the car was wrecked, all scratched, bumper was sticking out a bit, good i made a video as they thought i scratched it

Cons: They tried to charge me €90 to clean some sand out of the back seat and I had to go and get it cleaned. The car was smaller than I had expected. The pick up is quite a way from the airport. I will not be using them again.

Cons: Pick up instructions were vague so missed the first van and had to stand in the heat with four children. No shade or shelter. Slow at handing over car. Car was poor - engine warning light on most of the week but couldn't get thru on phone. Over charged for minor smudge mark to wing mirror. I strongly suggest you drop this supplier as they will damage your reputation.

Cons: Slow shuttle back to airport, they have one 8 seater so you’d be waiting a while if they were busy. We waited 45 mins to get on a shuttle back to the airport, and the queues at Faro for passports are looooong!!!

Cons: The return to the airport following returning the car took 45 minutes.

Pros: The car was dirty, especially the interior. We found dirty fingerprints, hair etc on dashboard so clearly car wasn't cleaned on the inside. Exterior was fine.

Cons: The reverse gear was terrible. It "slipped" and driving in reverse on hilly terrain was very poor. Not very handy in Portugal where you often need to park on hills/steep streets. For me it was ok and not bad enough to spend a day during my holiday trying to get the car replaced. I did tell the agent who was there during drop-off but it seemed like so did not understand (or did not care) the issue.

Pros: Airport pick up worked ok, but you should give better instructions as to where to wait.

Cons: Was asked to pay 354 euros for a miniscule chip in the windscreen. It was 100% NOT down to us, but as we failed to take photos of the windscreen before we took possession of the vehicle, we could not prove it didn't happen whilst in our possession. We took a picture of the 'chip' when it was pointed out to us but you can barely see it on that. We feel sure it had been in the windscreen from a previous renter and had not been noticed by them or yourselves.

Pros: Really pleased with service and would use again. Only issue was finding the transfer minibus at Faro airport, it wasn't very clearly marked.

Cons: Felt they were upset that we hadn't taken their insurance and mentioned on several occasions at pick up and again at drop off and have now said they are charging us for a minute scratch on a plastic wheel trim that we do not believe we damaged. They could not provide us with any proof that this was not there on pick up

Cons: Wrong pick up location address provided with booking. Took 20-30 mins for car to be inspected when picking up. When dropping off, staff were unable to find their own photos of car to confirm any damage.

Pros: The check-in person was excellent. She helped me get the maps working through my phone. This really enhanced our holiday and ability to explore the Algarve - BIG THANKS

Cons: Whilst the car could have been better and cleaner, I don't want this to detract from everything else.

Pros: International cars/ Surprise staff were professional, and did their job.

Cons: The car from surprise had a lot of pre-existing damage. However , my real issue was with Discover cars. They sold me insurance and gave the impression it was through the rental car company, but in fact it was third-party insurance. I ended up having to leave a large deposit and when I came back with a small scratch, I had the inconvenience of filing a claim. If I had understood this, I would not have bought insurance through the broker.

Cons: They charged me 90 Euros to vaccum the front footwells of a small amount of sand I left in there from a trip to the beach. It would've added 2 minutes to the cleaning job. The rep had a "computer-says-no" mindset. Car cost 90 Euros for 9 days and 90 euros for 2 minutes of vacuuming. Never again.

Pros: The drop off was terrible. Worst in 25 years of renting from Faro airport

Cons: The level and amount of time it took to check the car back in.

Cons: they deliver unsafe cars: stinky and no profile on the tires. Only after a week they offered me to drive back to their office and change the car, I told them I could not: I get too dizzy from driving an extremely stinky car like this, they didn't see the problem.

Cons: Directions to the pick up location were clear but there was no identifying location in the car park when we arrived. More staff and shuttles would have been an improvement on return as we arrived at 8 am when the site opened and there was only 2 staff and 1 shuttle and approximately 15 cars at that time
