Pros: I chose the car because it had the cheapest rate. But they will try to charge you for every scratch you can't prove was there already.
Cons: I am glad I purchased additional insurance. Make sure you document all dents and scratches on the vehicle, they will try to charge you for every dent and scratch you can't prove was not there before you rented the vehicle. They will claim they don't have or can't find the prior record. In addition put your key in the locks to make sure they are not damaged. Since most of us use the remote to lock and unlock the car I did not know that the driver side lock was damaged and they charged me for it.
