SKG Rent A Car at Thessaloniki Airport

Cons: I get older car with full of scratches and bumps. Worn out vehicle interior too. Because of that, there was a fear of encountering problems when returning the vehicle. Very high CDW (950€). This is also why I returned the car in a much cleaner condition too. But everything goes smooth.

When mentioned at the return desk and asked for refund (situation was clear on the gas meter) I was told it is impossible to refund. Disappointing!

Pros: The Opel Corsa was in good condition despite being an older model. The return of the car was fast and easy.

Cons: Took an hour for them to pick us up, even though I shared the arrival time during booking.

Pros: No push to buy extra insurance

Cons: Payment options incl. (a) luck of option to pay in full at the time of booking; (b) Amex not acceptable; (c) the need to have card details printed on it.

Pros: AMost agents and staff are helpful. And I would choose them over other car rentals in Thessaloniki.

Cons: The only disappointment for me was the fact that the windows of the car were extremely dirty on the inside that I could not actually see. I had to clean them as it was hard to drive. And this unfortunately happened more than once.

Cons: We got a hybrid car although we didn't book it, so the gas tank is much smaller than the normal size, and where we traveled there was no option for electric charging, and not many gas stations, causing us worrying more about fuel than expected. in addition the baggage size in that car was smaller than expected from the car we ordered.

Cons: Вместо забронированного Renault Clio, выдали казалось бы выше классом MG ZS. Но есть нюанс: авто с объемом двигателя 1.0л не едет от слова совсем. Я не считаю такой автомобиль равноценной заменой.

Pros: I recently rented a car from SKG Rent A Car for a 7-day period, and once again, the service was exceptional. Being a loyal and returning customer, I continue to be impressed. The customer service is top-notch, and the drop-off/pick-up service is perfect. In my opinion, SKG Rent A Car stands as the best rental company in Thessaloniki.

Cons: 1) The car smell of fuel and as soon as it was parked for a short while the smell of the fume would burn my eyes. 2) the office near the airport is off of a busy road and has no signs. I spent 35 minutes to find it. When asked why don't they have a sign near the road, their answer was the ooluce will fine them. Every other agency had a sign.

They took the time to explain everything about the rental and also thoroughly check the vehicle before handing it over to me. Cons: SKG Rent A Car is the absolute worst company I've ever dealt with in Thessaloniki. I truly believe you should stop associating with them. They have the oldest and least maintained cars out of all their competition. They make pick-up and drop-off as inconvenient and as time consuming of a process as possible. They are snarky and have a terrible attitude and don't provide true damage paperwork but rather just take pictures on their own phone. They force you to clean the car yourself. Horrible!

Cons: The car smelled of cigarettes, I don't smoke and when I switched on the airconditioning system the smell of cigarettes was awful. They overcharged me with gas, when I didn't bring it exactly where the indicator was. 20 euro for 2/8 of gas. Also I had to wait for 30 minutes in the airport until I was picked up by their bus service.
