Pros: Nothing, they are scammers.

Cons: They tried to scam me by cancelling my rental deposit and claiming it had been rejected by my bank, even though my bank told me that Select had cancelled it. They then wanted me to buy insurance that would have cost many times the rental price. Hence I walked out with no car at all.

Cons: At first when they realizes it rented a Golf, they offered me another car, and they moved the Golf from te patio. I said to them about low tires, and later I found out that I got a flat fire. I found out the water to cleanup windshield was not working, and I had to manage. The seats were not so cleaned, and the breaks was making a noisy the whole trip. The car they offered me was not ready do be rented.

Cons: The airport location is advertised as being "at" the Terminal. Infact, the location is off the airport property. It is a 600 m walk on busy city streets to get to the rental office.

Pros: Walkable from the airport, no queues

Cons: Car was fine but the agent made me feel nervous about not buying their insurance (I already had excess insurance). I was told the car itself was in perfect condition but there were several scratches and the bumper broken in 2 places which I wonder if they would have charged me for if we hadn't noticed and had it marked on the agreement when we picked it up. They thoroughly checked the car upon return looking for new scratches and bumps.

Pros: The staff at Select was very helpful. The communications was clear and they provided me with all the answers I needed. They very professionally and efficiently handled my request to extend the rental to Montenegro - it was just minutes before my remote request and the docs arriving on my phone ready to be printed. Mind you, I was requesting the extension from the road, a few days after the pick-up. Also, the staff accommodated my other requests as to the pre-inspection and made the return easy.

Cons: Nothing I can think about - it was a great experience with the Select staff and I do appreciate their service!

Cons: Car was very dirty inside and clearly hadn’t been prepared for the next rental.I’m travelling with 3 small children and it wasn’t fit for purpose.Fuel tank was empty on pickup. I paid to fill it up and on drop-off it still had a half tank so I’ve lost out on 50euros worth of diesel. I ordered a booster seat. Not in the vehicle so they gave us one which was in poor condition and has water inside the base. Drop off instructions not clear. Car was very old and very high mileage. Not what I ordered

Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 2000.00), Theft Protection, Roadside Assistance (in the country of pick-up), Third Party Liability (TPL), Airport surcharge, VAT (value added tax), Free modifications.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 18 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 22.

Maximum rental age is 75 years.
A senior driver fee applies to drivers over the age of 66.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 3 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if it is accompanied by a regular driver's license, is issued by an official authority or government-authorized organization, and is in physical (not digital) form.

In order to pick up the car, the following documents are required: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher.

Available special equipment: GPS Navigation system, Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age).
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

Certain additional drivers are subject to both an Additional Driver fee as well as either a Young Driver or Senior Driver fee.

Delivery/Collection service is available only by previous request.
Delivery/Collection service is available within city limits. Additional charges will be applied, depending on the distance.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a certain amount of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Additional information
Winter tires are not mandatory in Albania. Snow chains are allowed in icy/snowy conditions.
Business hours
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 60 minutes.
