CITY Rent a Car at Tirana Airport

Pros: They answered the phone when I rang them and they were fair.

Cons: It was a long walk from the terminal

Pros: I recently rented a car at City Rent, and had a very good experience. I would like to share a review about their service. They offered me the best experience in my life, higt service, qualified staff and good prices.

Cons: Unwelcoming. Wanted us to pay another 200€ for insurance over and above the extra insurance I took with discover cars. Discover cars and city rent don’t have the same cars either. I booked a Citroen c5 aircross through discover cars which city rent don’t even have in the stock list

Cons: Was a scam. Forced us to buy "mandatory" full coverage insurance and had us pay by cash. Then when we dropped off the car, said we had a parking ticket. Even though the ticket was earlier on the day we arrived in the country, before we picked up the car.

Cons: 1. Car was not available 2. Couldnt find our booking in their system 3. Replaced with a very old car that im not sure was value for money or saving for the renter 4. Car was in bad condition and multiple things didnt work. 5. Made us wait even on return to update their system and find out why we are returning it to their shop.

Pros: That we managed to give the car back with the promise of getting our deposit back

Cons: Intentaron hacerme pagar más porque no tenían coches de la gama que yo había reservado. Nos dieron el coche 2 horas más tarde de la hora de entrega. Intentaron poner problemas para no devolvernos la fianza, tuvimos que ponernos a malas para que lo hiciesen. La chica que nos atendió prácticamente nos insultó. En la devolución del coche también iban con casi una hora de retraso.

Cons: This is the worst car rental experience we’ve ever had. The agency blatantly scams customers without any shame. We booked a mid-size executive vehicle, but when we arrived, they handed us an old, low-tier car from 2007 that barely worked. When we asked for a replacement or refund, they refused. Eventually, we had no choice but to take a lower-class car just to continue our trip – yet they still charged us the full amount. The car had no spare tire at all

Cons: solicitamos un coche compacto y nos dieron un berlina, las condiciones del coche no eran buenas (luces rotas, limpia roto,...), y el trato del primer agente con el que tratamos tampoco fue bueno. El Agente del último día nos trato muy bien y era simpático. Pedimos cambiar de coche al de dos días de coger, no nos pusieron pegas, a sabiendas en que condiciones estaba el coche que nos dieron.

Cons: The car wasn’t safe to drive. The steering wheel it’s faulty, the hand breaks were faulty , the mirror is faulty yet they wanted £80 for 24 hours hire , 2007 bmwx5.

Cons: We paid for skoda superb from your picture but we received very old ford Mondeo in yellow collie which was used like taxi, in the car were still that business cards. For the price was it ok but it should be rented with correct pictur and not with picture of new skoda superb

Pros: Nothing on the cas was working properly.Brakes, engine, tires, lights, radio. Engine light was on all the time…It was really difficult to go up with the car…

Cons: Car wasn’t what I expected. Radio didn’t work. No phone holder to use it as a GPS. Child-lock wouldn’t deactivate so I had to open and close the doors manually for everyone. The security deposit, which was supposed to be by credit card and the agency said the card wasn’t working although it’s a card I used in at least 3-4 other trips. I had to give deposit in cash which messed up my trip budget. Overall ok but many unnecessary stressful incidents.

Pros: The guys at the fest were quick . The car was full of diesel ( very rare for Albania ) they recorded the car prior to rental.

Cons: The car we received didn’t have any heating. Enginelamp ande several other lamps was on. Interior was broken. Seats were not clean. I believe the car was a old taxi, the color was bright yellow… Hubcaps had cableties connected to rim.

Cons: The car was in very bad condition: Not clean, smells , safety belt was in very bad shape, radio didnt work, cigaret lighter is missing. One frontlight is out. Different engine maintenance warning lights blinking.

Cons: Didn’t have a reservation for me “found” a car for me to use that was in no shape to be a rental car, dirty inside and out. Got a flat tire on the way to the anirport and the spare also had a hole. When one of the City rent a car employees finally picked me up, was incredibly rude and asked for cash for having to come get me.

Cons: We did not get the car that we had reserved. It was a VW Touran for 7 people and we got a nice MG but could not fit 7 people. Thankfully we were 4 instead of 6 people travelling. The check in process took about an hour. Had to ask for the insurance papers as they were not in the car. The office is difficult to find
