CITY Rent a Car at Tirana Airport

Pros: Rien, pas sympa et arnaqueur

Cons: Voiture en mauvais état, et on nous a reproché de ne pas avoir mis assez de diesel malgré photo à lappui

Pros: I had a terrible experience with this car rental company. Before my pickup date, I informed them in advance that I would arrive one day late. I was clearly told that it would be “fine” and there would not be any issue with my booking. However, when I arrived to collect the car, the staff suddenly demanded extremely high extra fees that were never properly explained before. The additional cost was so unreasonable that it ended up being more expensive than the actual car rental itself.

Cons: Because of this, I had no choice but to leave without taking the car. I feel completely misled and disappointed by the poor communication and unprofessional handling of the situation. If they knew there would be such massive charges, they should have informed me honestly from the beginning instead of wasting my time and money. I would not recommend this company based on my experience.

Pros: NOTHING. THEY WERE SHOCKING.

Cons: The service was appalling. Elona Keta was aggressive and unpleasant throughout the process. The moment I refused the additional insurance and refused to pay for unnecessary extras, including the cleaning fee, the tone became hostile. The company appears to rely on pressure selling, intimidation and confusing paperwork. I was given a car with extremely high mileage, poor condition, incorrect fuel recording on the contract, and mismatched vehicle documentation. I would strongly warn others.

Pros: No problem with the car. Rather cheap but there is a hidden price when you go get the car and they ask for additional €100 cash. Bad!

Cons: The dude said the emailed pdf file is just "information".. so instead of paying €14 when we arrive.. we had to pay €114 otherwise he would not give us the car. It happened to everyone we met during our pick up and return.

Pros: It was an extreme bar experience with City Car rental. They provided me old damage car. It was an accidental car none of the accessories in the Car Wash working condition.

Cons: At the time of the return, the agent did not provide me the clearance. and also accuse me of taking the car across the border which I did not. I only drove the car within Albania from north to south. The car was standing for four days still DHA accuse me of using high mileage.

Cons: Once we got there they tried getting either twice the amount for deposit or get us to pay 18€ per day in insurance. Once we delivered the car washed, they tried getting money by saying it wasnt clean because there was dust from our shoes on the floor mat.

I’ve got the car but it doesn’t work at all. so they went got me another car. few days later the car was making badly noises. I was trying to fill the water tank for the wind screen wipers found out was broken water it was not holding into the tank? Call them to change the car , so they got different car.

Cons: There are a lot of things that I didn't like from City Rent Car and I will never book any car from them and I have already told to all of my friends.To start from the beginning I texted on WhatsApp before my flight the agency that my flight is running one hour late and the told me it's €50 cancellations fee if you are late more than two hours which was not on the voucher that I received from them.I want to be contacted from DiscoverCars as I want to make an official complaint for everything.

Pros: They made discount but they didn't accept the rules provided by discover.com. they said they had their own rules. So I had to pay more instead of a crazy risk.

Cons: Was a scam. Forced us to buy "mandatory" full coverage insurance and had us pay by cash. Then when we dropped off the car, said we had a parking ticket. Even though the ticket was earlier on the day we arrived in the country, before we picked up the car.

Car was in bad condition and multiple things didnt work. 5. Made us wait even on return to update their system and find out why we are returning it to their shop.

Intentaron poner problemas para no devolvernos la fianza, tuvimos que ponernos a malas para que lo hiciesen. La chica que nos atendió prácticamente nos insultó. En la devolución del coche también iban con casi una hora de retraso.

Cons: This is the worst car rental experience we’ve ever had. The agency blatantly scams customers without any shame. We booked a mid-size executive vehicle, but when we arrived, they handed us an old, low-tier car from 2007 that barely worked. When we asked for a replacement or refund, they refused. Eventually, we had no choice but to take a lower-class car just to continue our trip – yet they still charged us the full amount. The car had no spare tire at all

Cons: solicitamos un coche compacto y nos dieron un berlina, las condiciones del coche no eran buenas (luces rotas, limpia roto,...), y el trato del primer agente con el que tratamos tampoco fue bueno. El Agente del último día nos trato muy bien y era simpático. Pedimos cambiar de coche al de dos días de coger, no nos pusieron pegas, a sabiendas en que condiciones estaba el coche que nos dieron.

Pros: Nothing on the cas was working properly.Brakes, engine, tires, lights, radio. Engine light was on all the time…It was really difficult to go up with the car…

Cons: Car wasn’t what I expected. Radio didn’t work. No phone holder to use it as a GPS. Child-lock wouldn’t deactivate so I had to open and close the doors manually for everyone. The security deposit, which was supposed to be by credit card and the agency said the card wasn’t working although it’s a card I used in at least 3-4 other trips. I had to give deposit in cash which messed up my trip budget. Overall ok but many unnecessary stressful incidents.

Got a flat tire on the way to the anirport and the spare also had a hole. When one of the City rent a car employees finally picked me up, was incredibly rude and asked for cash for having to come get me.

Cons: We did not get the car that we had reserved. It was a VW Touran for 7 people and we got a nice MG but could not fit 7 people. Thankfully we were 4 instead of 6 people travelling. The check in process took about an hour. Had to ask for the insurance papers as they were not in the car. The office is difficult to find
