Pick-up instructions
After collecting the luggage, the customers have to go outside of the arrivals hall and cross the street. Behind the taxi rank, the customers will find a private car park. The customers can wait there for the Goldcar shuttle bus. This bus will take them directly to our off airport office located very close to the airport.
Drop-off instructions
Clients must also return their cars to the rental office, prior to being taken back to the airport.

Pros: Even with low expectations the service was not good

Cons: I had to wait for the shuttle bus to the car park for an hour and had to call the Goldcar main office in Spain twice on phone, spending a lot of money. The pick-up point indicated by them and on the voucher was wrong. They did not want to give me the local office number so I could not find out what the problem was. very negative experience.

Cons: The rental car company charged me a hidden fee of about $30 that was not disclosed when I committed to renting the car. They told me there was no way to remove this "fuel surcharge", even when the car was brought back full of fuel. After this additional surcharge, it would have been cheaper for me just to rent from one of the bigger companies at the airport itself.

Pros: The WiFi hotspot was a wonderful service offered.

Cons: Many things were not described beforehand, such as requirement for international license and $1,200 Euro security deposit, as well as Goldcar’s inability to process American Express credit cards... even though I booked WITH my AMEX. I have never had so many dead-ends when trying to pick up a car I had already booked. Our entire group lost nearly an afternoon of vacation trying to figure out how to rent from Goldcar when it had been quick and effortless with from Hertz just a few days prior.

Cons: For reasons beyond my will, the delivery of the car was made with a delay of 24 hours and the company charged my credit card with the amount of Euro 200 without any explanation so far! The Rental agreement (article 5 Greek version) states that customers are charged extra with the amount of €40 (as a penalty) in cases such as the above per day! I'm waiting for the final cleanup of the transaction to decide the next steps!

Cons: They charged extra gas fillment cost no matter what. I dropped the car full tank, so this cost is totally meaningless

Cons: Goldcar is not located at the airport. It took us a while to locate the shuttle bus and we wasted time getting to the rental office and getting to the airport on the way back. We were not impressed with a 21 euros fuel refill charge hidden in the contract of discovercarhire, the online website we booked through. We were charged this fee even though we returned the car with a full tank.
