Pros: Helpful and gentle personnel during check in/out.Convenient location near the airport.Good condition and clean car.

Cons: Everything was ok,but as a suggestion I would prefer the opening hours to be a bit earlier in summertime .

Cons: The deposit was charged directly to the credit card (instead of a reservation) and a refund made after return of the car.

Cons: I recieved the email that i can keep the car one more day for 40 euros then they called me to bring the car back as soon as possible and they charge me 40 euros anyway extra for only one hour extra ...on the app i rented a toyota and when i got there they gave me a fiat panda full with scratches which had problems to go up to the top of a small hill and when i broght the car back the 3 of them were checking the car under and all over hoping to find an extra scratch to keep my deposit...

Nu avea o inventariere a obiectelor pe care ar fi trebuit să le aibă mașina (roata rezervă, cric, triunghiriuri reflectorizante, etc.) Nu am putut deschide compartimentul destinat roții de rezervă, deci nu am putut vedea dacă aceasta chiar există. La predarea mașinii nu s-a făcut o constatare scrisă despre starea în care am returnat mașina. Mi s-a spus doar verbal ca este totul ok

Cons: They withdraw from my credit card 1000€ as a deposit and that lowered limit of my possible spend; they gave me back this money after two weeks after returning the car- why? They do not accept full coverage insurance, which I bought- they say they would charge everything from me and then I have to claim this from insurance- it is always automatically connected with the insurance company and here not- they suggesting additional payment of 40€ for „no cost” service if something happen

To avoid this and still get the car, I had to pay sth like 130 euros on top of what the initial agreement was. Seriously not worth it. The stress that such an incident creates on one's holidays is very unecessary

We were arguing with the sales representative for over 1 hour in 30 degrees heat. We could not fit our 3 cases in the boot. Me and my children had to balance a 24kg case on our laps the 1 hour journey to our appointment.

Cons: Very high mileage old model micra which was very battered, lots of damage & internal condition poor. Wanted us to pay extra for breakdown cover despite our booking stating it was included. Engine fault warining light came on within a day and power steering also failed. At first they refused to even change the car & were rude & aggressive about it. When they did finally agree to change, they insisted we sign to confirm that we agree the replacement vehicle wasn't damaged before letting us see it.

They finally gave us the keys and we went to load our bags in the car and the staff had shut the shop and left. We turned the engine on and noticed the engine management light was on and so was the tyre light. The real wiper had been broken off and not replaced. The car was in an awful state. We was an hour and half away so couldn’t bring it back the next day.

Pros: Easy and quick for pick up and drop off. Vehicle in good running order. I noticed the tire pressure light was on. They immediately took the car to the neighboring gas station and CheCked the tires.

Cons: We weren’t informed that the credit card for the deposit had to be issued on the name of the driver, so we had to deposit 400€ cash and pay 50€ extra as a fee for giving the money cash and not by credit card. The agents were unwilling to help us with this issue which was an inconvenience. Car was OK, we got a free upgrade because ABBYCAR did not have a small car at the time, although that was our initial booking. ABBYCAR is ~10’ walk from the airport but they refused to drop us off there.

Pros: The only positive was the return of the car. Everything was executed in a quick and smooth manner.

Cons: It is unacceptable for a company to not accept cash or American Express cards for the car guarantee. The staff was completely unhelpful towards a solution, only proposing something after a lot of effort, in a very rude manner and with increased cost. On top of all that, we weren't able to register a second driver because she didn't have her driver's licence in a physical form, independently of the fact that the government has issued an official wallet app for your ID and license. I had to take numerous pictures before leaving the rental desk as some of the damage on the car was awful. In combing through the confirmations it would have helped to have a clear call out "Exit Airport and turn left, walk 7 minutes down the road toward the the Shell Gas Station". Consider investing in a side walk to get to the office. There should not be an 80 Euro penalty for using a debit card or alternate payment method; consider adding an alert when booking "Reminder: No Debit Card or Amex Accepted, penalties will apply".

Pros: The car was booked by my husband as aain driver. The main driver had to have his credit card, which he didn't. I was a second driver, but my credit card was not accepted. Discover Cars don't have a phone number for contact in case of emergency. I had to email them to change the main driver to myself. They offered to do it the next day via email. Very inconvenient... What Abbycar offered is to pyt down €600 cash as a deposit and €100 as a one off payment on top of what we have paid alreaday.

Cons: The other option was €200 cash deposit and €200 one off. This was more expensive than to book another car and to lose all we have paid till now. I was impressed from the lack of flexibility in Abbycar and the lack of customer support in Discovercars. The only good thing is that you can easily book another car through the same search engine. But you have to read ALL the small print.
