The island is very beautiful. You could eat in virtually any restaurant and have a good meal, the shops are beautiful and good quality.

Skiathos is a just a great island, although I did notice the people of the island were a little bit more grumpy this year. The boatman (Skiathos town to Kanapitsa) was really rude to a couple of Scandinavian ladies and he was out of order swearing at them just for asking some advice.
