Hiring a car around Corfu was the right decision, as our villa too far away from amenities. Worried about driving on very windey, narrow roads and parking as the Greek was a nightmare

Ventured on to some very rocky roads, and perilous roads. I think maybe a word of caution to fill up cars at self service stations. I pulled in to one and an attendant appeared, and asked for my keys to fill up my car on my behalf. When I paid him 40 euros he told me it was only 30 euros which I full well knew I hadn’t, but obviously unable to dispute the claim as he had the key. Tarnished the experience somewhat.

Not the best May weather but got round the island to see all the sight. Recommend hiring a speed boat out of paleokastritsa. Go up to Mount Pankratorus for views and walks. Not the best beaches or roads on Corfu.
