We had a wonderful trip to Greece and saw many beautiful places alongside meeting the very friendly Greek people. We visited the caves of Diros, a petrified forest with some stunning volcanic scenery and mountains. We also experienced the stunning Monemvasia.
Visiting many of the lovely beaches and swimming in the clear blue sea was very special.
We ate like kings and experienced so much of the wonderful Greek cuisine. I will be hoping to recreate some the food when I get home.

The Peloponese area of mainland Greece, accessed via Kalamata airport (or a 4 hr drive from Athens) - is a wonderfully varied destination. Great beaches, including many secluded ones. Rugged coastlines. Superb mountains with ancient villages and hidden monasteries. Ancient sites like Mycenae, Mystras, Corinth. Wonderful simple fresh local food - olives, lemon & orange, fish, vegetables. Varied choices of tourist accommodation at relatively low prices. A distinct character(s) only to be found in Greece and a sense of an enduring history. Safe and welcoming.

This is the third time we have rented a car from this company and our experience has been nothing but positive. Staff are friendly and efficient and the whole process has always been stress free. On this recent trip we just went to Kardamayli which is an easy 50 min drive from the airport but in the past we have been as far as Limeni.
