Cons: L'état des lieux n'a pas été réalisé, il n'indiquait aucune anomalie alors qu'il y avait des dommages sur le véhicules. Nous voulions le signaler en transmettant des photos mais aucunes adresses mail ne le permettait. Au retour le réceptionnaire nous a indiqué qu'il n'y avait pas de problème et la caution nous a été intégralement reversée rapidement.

Cons: When I arrived, I had to wait well over an hour with 30 people in line to get a rental car. At one point there was only one agent working. When I picked up my car, I noticed several marks on the vehicle and approached the young agent on the lot and he just shrugged and said take pictures.

Cons: When picking up the car, you kind of have to do everything yourself, which was not clearly explained at the reception desk, and when I asked some questions to the people working there, they were not very enthusiastic about helping me.

Oh, and charging the ‘holding fee’ to the credit card, as opposed to holding the amount….shocking, and may be a coincidence but the only time I have used my physical card in over a year was for them to swipe it, and had several fraudulent charges added over the next few days, probably a coincidence 🤷🏻‍♂️

Cons: The premium car that I paid for was given to me absolutely filthy, slimy slop splashed over the centre console and gear selector, detritus spread all over the interior and even rubbish left by the previous user. They clearly hadn’t cleaned the car at all so we couldn’t take the car. The only other car they had was a step down is spec but atleast it had been cleaned.

Pros: Excellent service. Arrived at top car which is a 2 min walk from the terminal. Quick paperwork and deposit. Keys given and off we went. Take videos as car is inspected.

The desk agent didn’t insist on typing a novel about the history of the universe into the computer, so collection was quick and painless. I cannot stress enough how good it was to just be able to quickly get the car. Drop-off was equally smooth — just park, flag down a Top Car staff member, they check it over, and you’re done in about five minutes. Overall, the company were really good.

Cons: Having to find an agent at the end is a little bit of a pain but hardly that bad as we found one in minutes. Might be a prob in peak season if they are busy but as we went in Sept it was OK

Cons: I booked a Citroen C3. In the terminal at the company counter I was given the keys to a Hyundai. In the parking lot, I discovered it was an i10. A fair replacement? Are they the same class of car? Good thing there is a company branch in the parking lot where I was instantly exchanged the i10 for a Seat Arona. Unpleasant, why should I have to prove anything, change anything..... Just give me a car of the right class.

Cons: Top Car was a complete letdown. The signposting to collect the car was awful – I had to go to the car and then back into the terminal. The car itself was badly scratched and damaged, so I had to take about 50 photos just to protect myself. The worst part was the staff – unhelpful, unfriendly, and clearly uninterested in offering any kind of service. No smiles, just grunts and cold stares. Only the guy at the end was okay, but overall this was a stressful, unpleasant experience.

Asked do I wanted to upgrade for the extra 80 euros.... schocking.... when I not agreed he handed similar car just new version for the same amount. They wasted my holiday time.

Cons: I ordered an automatic VW Golf or similar but at pickup I was told, that they had difficulties in supplying enough vehicles with automatic transmission. The Top Car agent told me I could upgrade my car if would have one with manual transmission. I accepted I got a 1.0 VW Taigo. I don't consider that as an upgrade.

After 45 minutes of waiting I asked another lady behind the counter whether she would be serving, she nodded. 20 minutes later she went onto a counter and served. We arrived late at night with a 3 year old and 7 month old both of whom were getting very upset and tired, the lady could see this was happening but made no efforts to help us or apologise. But when we arrived, the car is not available. we have to take a smaller car. even though after negotiation they agreed to switch the car when available, it took us another trip to airport and time. the point of holding the car is to make it available!! especially I have paid for it for the day. the car said to come with full tank but has only 5/6 full.

Pros: Convenient as counter located in the airport itself. Smooth process to complete the paperwork at the counter and then go to the car park outside to pick up the car. Return was very quick with agents available to take back the car with no fuss.

On returning the car again no handover when parking up. Asked by receptionist if can was ok and we said yes. Much prefer a proper handover

Cons: The car only showed 2 area of damage, however in reality the cars had damage on numerous panels there was even a small hole caused by damage in the A post , the rear windscreen wiper was missing but I was told this was OK . This was what took so much time picking the car up trying to document all the damage with photos and video. The car was over due a service and was not the cleanest I have experienced from Topcar. I am using them aging in May so I am hoping for better things.

Cons: The windscreen was provided already cleaned with a tough waxy substance which was impossible to remove and made vision difficult (and sometimes dangerous) in strong sunlight. The windscreen was covered in smears.

Cons: I was given documents to sign before I could see the car. Then when I spotted a damage in the car body and told the staff about it, they told me it is enough to take pictures of it. It wasn't noted down. For the whole week I was a bit unsure if I wouldn't have to take responsibility for something I hadn't done. Everything was fine, but it was my first time renting a car and it was dark when we picked it up. I would have been much more comfortable if all the scratches and damages were notified.

Cons: It took over 3 hours to collect car from TopCar due to length of queue. Would certainly not book the cheapest next time as for just a couple of euros more would have been with another firm who had minimal queues. TopCar had clearly taken an excessive volume of bookings and not resourced staffing accordingly - poor customer service.

Pros: The car that I hire was dirty outside and had dirty front window. Also I had a problem with a car battery. After I picked a car and leave the airport I stopped at the petroil station that was just next to airport. When I tried to continue I found that the car battery was flat. First I tried to reach costumer service but it was closed, I managed to start a car just only thanks to the help of the station employee.

Cons: I am extremely unhappy that a 900 euro security deposit was taken on my credit card which resulted in me receiving 50 euro less when the security deposit was returned on my card. Other companies put a Deposit Hold on the card so that the customer does not suffer a significant financial loss. For this reason I will never use Top Car again.

Pros: It's my third time renting from TopCar and I always had good experiences. Helpful, efficient staff and good vale for money.

Cons: Normally I would expect the rental car to have at least half a tank full (ideally full to full as it is the easiest to return with the same level). My rental car this time had so low fuel level that the fuel light was on - not only this was a little annoying as I had to get fuel straight away at 22.30 but it was basically impossible for me to return the car with such low level of fuel. I ended up returning it with more for which I am not entitled for any refund.

Cons: The signs were not very easy to understand at TFN. I tried to follow the instructions but had difficulty since there were no top car signs and to couldn’t find the drop box. The police at the airport had to help me because I was dropping off so early.
