Pros: Car was relative new, less then 40000km. I found easy to find drop off zone.

Cons: Our plane were late and there were nobody at the pick up desc. We had to spend half night at the airport. I found the car interior dirty. I had to clean inside the windows, to see thru them. Even the, windscreen wiper was worn, didn't do its job.

I had to pay a deposit on arrival with the agent even though I paid for cover and am still waiting for the return of the money.

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by friendly and efficient staff who guided me through the rental process seamlessly. The car itself was in immaculate condition, clean, and well-maintained, reflecting the company's commitment to quality.

Cons: However, if I were to suggest an area for improvement, it would be the absence of a mobile phone holder for navigation purposes within the vehicle. While this may seem like a minor inconvenience, having a dedicated holder would have enhanced the convenience and safety of navigating unfamiliar roads during my travels.

Pros: Couldn’t supply the 9 seater Car we had booked , stating that DiscoverCars had changed the car to a 7 seater

Cons: They weren’t able to handle the number of passengers waiting to collect their vehicles. Took over an hour to get the paperwork done and collect the keys.

I made sure to ask for full coverage on a car rental and when we arrived to pick up the car the agent told us that the coverage that we paid was NOT their coverage So we had to pay twice!!! Upon my return I send an email to Discover car to hear that them say that I should not have taken another coverage YET on the other end they told me I would not be covered SCAM!!!

Cons: There was a massive queue at the airport issuing desk and the clerks were working very slowly. We appeared to be waiting with people who had not reserved a car in advance. We had a reservation and expected to pick up the key without delay, but it took 90 minutes' waiting time. Totally unacceptable.

Pros: No problem with the vehicle. It was a good match for the type selected when booking, and exceeded our expectations. Polite and efficient service at airport terminal office.

Would have appreciated some helpful information as regards the drop off procedure, as the one-way car parking system at Tenerife South Airport is confusing.

Pros: It was a pretty seamless endeavor once you found the kiosk. Checking the car out was also very simple.

Cons: Bringing the car back was confusing and unclear. All lanes in Tenerife were marked car rental, but nothing was marked car return. so, if you pulled into the wrong lane, you had no access to returning the car and were stuck in a public lot (for which you had to pay, even if you were in for 10 seconds. ) Its stress no one needs in a foreign country and is easily remedied by better signage.

Cons: Car I booked was not avaliable. I needed a automatic large vechile for luggage 5 people and a wheelchair. I was offered a mini convertible. Which is a lovely upgrade apparently. No good to me. I ordered a Estate. Also they charged my card for the deposit instead of just putting a hold on it. When they returned my deposit it was £75 short due to exchange rate they use. The car was dented and keyed all over tbf it was in a terrible state but it was this or nothing.

Cons: You can tell they dont check the cars well before renting them out again. They give them a quick inspection and clean and thats it. The first car we received had a broken AC so after a 5 min drive I took the exit ramp to reverse back to the airport. The second car we received was a different brand and model. It had had a basic clean. During the rental period it ran out of wiper fluid, as that probably hadnt been filled up in a while. TopCar can take better care of its cars.

I rented a car with automatic transmission (citroen) with fuel policy full-full Was upgraded to a brand new vw golf (automatic) and for the “inconvenience” was allowed to return the car empty. I returned yesterday and saw on my creditcard overview that my deposit is already planned to be returned.

In future Top car should take photos, or at least walk each person to the car and catalogue, otherwise it will be a picture from the recipient which does not align with their audit history

Also, the car didn't have parking sensors, making it difficult to park the car safely. The car only had 30k on the odometer but it was worn out and needs some love in order to ride smooth again.

Cons: We got no help to install the child seats. Even though we asked four different rental agents they all said they didn’t know how to install it. After almost a hour we gave up on one of the seats and changed it to another one. Then we still struggled with no help for way to long time.

Cons: The representatives at the pick up vehicle line were not really welcoming. Not even a hello. They look at you and wait until you ask something. No one took me to the vehicle to show me anything. They just said parking spot 32, you have the keys? I replied “no” And then they handed me the keys… same thing for the return. Plus the contract wasn’t accurate. The vehicle had 3000 miles more than on the paper. And they gave me the gasoline on 1/8

Cons: Very slow pick up. Long line, inefficient process. They asked to fill up a paper with name and address, which they entered in the computer. They should gather that info when the reservation is done, or at least have the people waiting in line to fill it up to gain a little time. We didn't like how they offer the 500 deposit telling you a little scratch can cost up to that, but then if you dont want that, you can pay the insurance; and then the car was full of scratches. I wonder who is paying it

Cons: I didn't like driving that car : there are times when the steering feels strange, and not quite reliable... The automatic gearbox doesn't work properly, and the cruise control is difficult to set... All in all, I would not drive a similar car again.

Cons: You need to sign the form which lists the damages on the car before actually seeing the car. There were no damaged listed on the form, but the car had quite a number of damages. This is usual in Spain but legally it’s not ok.
