Pros: Quick and efficient, got exactly what I paid for and was even offered a bigger car.

Pros: Free car seat and their insurance would have been cheaper.

Cons: Didn't mark damage which was every panel and without taking video when collecting would of blamed me as didn't inspect, took £1200 deposit as didn't take thier insurance and refused to listen when explained its supposed be €1200. Returned €1200 though so cost me £140 more because of the rude and aggressive staff. More than the car and I've a feeling do to most who don't use thier insurance.

Cons: Top Car was a complete letdown. The signposting to collect the car was awful – I had to go to the car and then back into the terminal. The car itself was badly scratched and damaged, so I had to take about 50 photos just to protect myself. The worst part was the staff – unhelpful, unfriendly, and clearly uninterested in offering any kind of service. No smiles, just grunts and cold stares. Only the guy at the end was okay, but overall this was a stressful, unpleasant experience.

When I returned the car after circling around the car park the outside office man told me there is nothing bad with the car. Asked do I wanted to upgrade for the extra 80 euros.... schocking.... when I not agreed he handed similar car just new version for the same amount. They wasted my holiday time.

Cons: I ordered an automatic VW Golf or similar but at pickup I was told, that they had difficulties in supplying enough vehicles with automatic transmission. The Top Car agent told me I could upgrade my car if would have one with manual transmission. I accepted I got a 1.0 VW Taigo. I don't consider that as an upgrade.

Cons: We queued to pick up our car late at night & waited 1 hour, there were only 5 families in the queue with 1 person serving. After 45 minutes of waiting I asked another lady behind the counter whether she would be serving, she nodded. 20 minutes later she went onto a counter and served. We arrived late at night with a 3 year old and 7 month old both of whom were getting very upset and tired, the lady could see this was happening but made no efforts to help us or apologise. Awful customer service.

But when we arrived, the car is not available. we have to take a smaller car. even though after negotiation they agreed to switch the car when available, it took us another trip to airport and time. the point of holding the car is to make it available!! especially I have paid for it for the day. the car said to come with full tank but has only 5/6 full.

On returning the car again no handover when parking up. Asked by receptionist if can was ok and we said yes. Much prefer a proper handover

This was what took so much time picking the car up trying to document all the damage with photos and video. The car was over due a service and was not the cleanest I have experienced from Topcar. I am using them aging in May so I am hoping for better things.

Cons: I was given documents to sign before I could see the car. Then when I spotted a damage in the car body and told the staff about it, they told me it is enough to take pictures of it. It wasn't noted down. For the whole week I was a bit unsure if I wouldn't have to take responsibility for something I hadn't done. Everything was fine, but it was my first time renting a car and it was dark when we picked it up. I would have been much more comfortable if all the scratches and damages were notified.

After I picked a car and leave the airport I stopped at the petroil station that was just next to airport. When I tried to continue I found that the car battery was flat. First I tried to reach costumer service but it was closed, I managed to start a car just only thanks to the help of the station employee.

Pros: It's my third time renting from TopCar and I always had good experiences. Helpful, efficient staff and good vale for money.

Cons: Normally I would expect the rental car to have at least half a tank full (ideally full to full as it is the easiest to return with the same level). My rental car this time had so low fuel level that the fuel light was on - not only this was a little annoying as I had to get fuel straight away at 22.30 but it was basically impossible for me to return the car with such low level of fuel. I ended up returning it with more for which I am not entitled for any refund.

Pros: Exceptional Car Rental Experience with One Minor Convenience Oversight I recently had the pleasure of renting a vehicle from TopCar, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by friendly and efficient staff who guided me through the rental process seamlessly. The car itself was in immaculate condition, clean, and well-maintained, reflecting the company's commitment to quality.

Cons: However, if I were to suggest an area for improvement, it would be the absence of a mobile phone holder for navigation purposes within the vehicle. While this may seem like a minor inconvenience, having a dedicated holder would have enhanced the convenience and safety of navigating unfamiliar roads during my travels.

Pros: Couldn’t supply the 9 seater Car we had booked , stating that DiscoverCars had changed the car to a 7 seater

Cons: They weren’t able to handle the number of passengers waiting to collect their vehicles. Took over an hour to get the paperwork done and collect the keys.

Cons: Certainly NOT!!! I made sure to ask for full coverage on a car rental and when we arrived to pick up the car the agent told us that the coverage that we paid was NOT their coverage So we had to pay twice!!! Upon my return I send an email to Discover car to hear that them say that I should not have taken another coverage YET on the other end they told me I would not be covered SCAM!!!

Cons: There was a massive queue at the airport issuing desk and the clerks were working very slowly. We appeared to be waiting with people who had not reserved a car in advance. We had a reservation and expected to pick up the key without delay, but it took 90 minutes' waiting time. Totally unacceptable.

Cons: the child seat was ancient. looked as if used for 10+ years, also no isofix on the child seat while all cars in europe starting 2011 are reguired to have isofix mounts was really dissapointing

Pros: No problem with the vehicle. It was a good match for the type selected when booking, and exceeded our expectations. Polite and efficient service at airport terminal office.

Cons: Disinterested service from the collection kiosk in the parking area. Gave me the key, name of vehicle model and just pointed at the car. Would have appreciated some helpful information as regards the drop off procedure, as the one-way car parking system at Tenerife South Airport is confusing.

Pros: No queue. You know what the “small print” is. Moderate excess cost holding. In terminal. When there was a problem, I got a quick response with minimal hassle . This is the fifth time with Top car. Same each time.

Pros: It was a pretty seamless endeavor once you found the kiosk. Checking the car out was also very simple.

Cons: Bringing the car back was confusing and unclear. All lanes in Tenerife were marked car rental, but nothing was marked car return. so, if you pulled into the wrong lane, you had no access to returning the car and were stuck in a public lot (for which you had to pay, even if you were in for 10 seconds. ) Its stress no one needs in a foreign country and is easily remedied by better signage.

Cons: Car I booked was not avaliable. I needed a automatic large vechile for luggage 5 people and a wheelchair. I was offered a mini convertible. Which is a lovely upgrade apparently. No good to me. I ordered a Estate. Also they charged my card for the deposit instead of just putting a hold on it. When they returned my deposit it was £75 short due to exchange rate they use. The car was dented and keyed all over tbf it was in a terrible state but it was this or nothing.

Cons: I had to queue more than 1h to pick up the keys. When I reached the car, the key had no battery so the keyless car would not move. Drop off instructions were inadequate, the address is not something you'd find on google maps. The car's lights and wipes were not in automatic mode so I had to spend time finding out how to operate then

Cons: The cars don't seem to be serviced very well between pick-ups. I had driven halfway across the island, when an alarm warning on the dashboard told me the engine coolant was almost out. I had to return the car. I had only driven a short distance in the second car, when an alert told me the tyre pressure was low. Not very good!

Cons: Car park area is very busy and the pick up / drop off is all a little chaotic

Cons: Windscreen washer bottle was empty. Existing damage to vehicle not specified or described on sheet. Raining hard when I collected so difficult to get good pictures of the existing damage. But no damage caused by me during hire and car was willingly accepted at drop off so ultimately no issue.

Pros: That the car rental desk can be accessed from where you pick up your luggage.

Pros: The rental agents at the desk are friendly and helpful. The initial car we received was what we picked on the website.

Cons: You can tell they dont check the cars well before renting them out again. They give them a quick inspection and clean and thats it. The first car we received had a broken AC so after a 5 min drive I took the exit ramp to reverse back to the airport. The second car we received was a different brand and model. It had had a basic clean. During the rental period it ran out of wiper fluid, as that probably hadnt been filled up in a while. TopCar can take better care of its cars.

Pros: Car bad some scratches that weren't on the initial paperwork but I took pictures and no one did any issues about it and I got deposit returned.

Pros: The staff who helped me to get my car even though I had left my physical license at home - the lady found another way to get me to check my driving through DVLA - it was really good The guys who provided the hire car to me, they were polite and friendly

Cons: The wait in the que was really long as so many people were using Top Car for their hire.

Cons: I don’t think the car was appropriate for the category we chose, the brakes were poor and car service light was on before rental started
