Pros: The Pick up agent was great, but the car was dirty and had a LOT of damage.

Cons: Drop off was hard to find, Roud man a collections desk advised I needed to just find where I pick it up from, despite poor signage. The returns agent once located was lovely.

Cons: Wr had to queue up for 1h 40min, and when we finally were served we had to pay insurance again, despite we paid full insurance already on "kayak" otherwise agent asked to pay £900 deposit. Secondly, the car was filthy inside, outside. Not been cleaned from previous person. And when we came to drop the car of we parked the car at the spot where we collected it from, the brought the key to kiosk, were told to hand over to a cat check person somewhere in car park, and he was very rude.

Also the photos documenting all existing damage to the car were in b&w and poor resolution. they were trying very hard to find tiny cosmetic scratches to charge for

Cons: Car was filthy, pools.of dirty water inside the car on all floor mats that had to be taken out by me to clean, overall car condition very bad, impossible to photo all the dents and scratches on literally every panel. Not a car I would expect from Thrifty/Hertz.. staff for pick up of keys didn't speak one word to us, just pointed to car and handed keys to then turn away and walk off, car was double parked on busy road so no space to safely load luggage or my 5 year old, very dangerous. Avoid !

Cons: Long wait at desk on arrival. Not shown damage. I found later that my signature was attached to all the photos of previous damage and I was not taken through it at pickup. Cars are parked very close together and difficult to inspect. On drop off the agent tried to charge for damage which was clearly in the photos. Advice is to take high res photos of every single inch of the car else they have got you. Had 3rd party excess cover which they played to imo.

Cons: I asked for a VW GOLF and I received a Toyota Corala (berline). We were traveling with special transport (bike), so there was not enough space in the Toyota to put the bike in, that’s why we asked for a Golf. But the agent proposed us another car.

Cons: We had a flat tyre just less than a couple of hours after picking up the car. It was extremely difficult to get hold of the customer support by calling the number provided. We had to use other office number to get through in the end. We were told by the customer service that we need to try to fix the problem by ourselves and if not, we had to pay the rescue service. We had been waiting for more than four hours before getting another car. It cost us more than 200 euro.

Cons: When I collected it, I noticed some scratches which were not explained to me. I signed a page of basic agreement details, but found later in the documentation the Original Damages page with my signature applied on it. When I returned the cathe member of staff who came to review, said after a quick look that there is a new damage which I should pay for. I was charged 140€ for a damage I surely didn’t do. He seemed determined to present this scratch as new. It seemed that he knew it beforehand.

Pros: I actually got an upgrade, very nice car, more spacious and powerful than what I have reserved. Not that clean but was OK. The stuff was very helpful.
