Pros: Ease of finding in the Tenerife airport. possiblity to use ferries.

Cons: the fact that they were not happy that I took an insurance with Discover and they wanted me to take another insurance with them. Very unpleasant and stressful.

Cons: Europcar great! Some of the other rental providers at TFS were racing around the rental car area, tailgating myself and other drivers. Super dangerous.

Pros: Nothing.

Cons: We had to wait for an hour then the representative was pushy and deliberately misled us that we needed a bigger car and kept on talking with an large queue behind us until we caved in and went for the car they suggested. I only did so as we were told it was an upgrade to automatic when we got to the car it was manual! Very unhappy with the whole experience.

Pros: Easy to find the car

Cons: Difficult to drop off, not informed as to where I should park it before hand or when I arrived, was asked to move from the bay I picked it up from (Bay 31) the male representative could have done this himself The car has a bearing whine noise, not a safe car you hired me to honest, I reported this to the check in girl.

Pros: Fast, simple, no fucking around

Cons: The car was crashed, but that's the problem of all rent-a-car providers on Tenerife, they lend you tainted cars, back bumpers, front bumpers, doors etc.

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 2300.00), Theft Protection, Third Party Liability (TPL), Airport surcharge, Free modifications.
Rate excludes
The following surcharges may apply: Accident Administration fee, Port fee, Vehicle tracking system.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 21 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.

There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

Driver licenses will be accepted if issued in the following country(ies): EU.
Driver licenses from all other countries must be accompanied with International Driving Permit (IDP).
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if it is accompanied by a regular driver's license, is issued by an official authority or government-authorized organization, and is in physical (not digital) form.

In order to pick up the car, the following documents are required: flight information.
Deposit and deductible policy

Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age).
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.


Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Additional information
Snow chains are recommended in icy/snowy conditions, especially when traveling in mountainous areas.
Winter tires are not mandatory in Spain.
Business hours
The supplier will hold the vehicle for 59 minutes after your scheduled pick-up time as long as it is within their normal business hours. After this time, your booking may be canceled without refund.
