Once you have collected your luggage and just before exiting the terminal, go left to exit gates 5-6, located in front of check-in counters 48-52 and go outside. When you are outside the terminal, continue straight on to the Public Parking (P1) and look for row B6 next to the meeting point, there you will find our staff waiting for you next to a red vehicle with the Canarias.com logo. If you require assistance call (+34) 669 767 556 or (+34) 922 714 298.The return of the vehicle will be made at the South Airport easily and without waiting. Representative will explain in detail the instructions on the day of delivery of the vehicle.

Cons: We got an upgraded to a 9 sester due to vehicle aviation which although good because we needed a 7 seater, it meant I needed to drive (& park!) a much bigger vehicle than originally ordered.

Cons: Firstly it wasn't called Tenerife Car (who we booked with), it was called Canarias.com which made for a confusing wait and search around the car park. The customer service from the hire company was terrible, the car was not to the spec we had booked as well as being scratched, scraped, dented and having an issue with the breaks (the break pads need replacing). I did not feel comfortable driving my two young children around in that car.

Cons: Dangerous vehicle with two flat tyres (loss of pressure as soon as we got on the motorway). Reinflated twice but must have had slow puncture. You should NOT put people in that kind of danger. They also charged us a late fee for pick up. We were late by 15mins because the flight was overbooked and we had to get another flight.

Rental Conditions

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 400.00), Theft Protection, Third Party Liability (TPL), Airport surcharge, VAT (value added tax), Free modifications.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 21 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 23.

Maximum rental age is 80 years.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

The driver license must be written in Latin alphabet.
Driver licenses will be accepted if issued in the following country(ies): United Kingdom, EU countries.
Otherwise, the renter must provide an International Driver Permit (IDP).

A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if it is accompanied by a regular driver's license, is issued by an official authority or government-authorized organization, and is in physical (not digital) form.

In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher.
Deposit and deductible policy
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: GPS Navigation system, Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age).
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

Delivery/Collection service is available within city limits. Additional charges will be applied, depending on the distance.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a certain amount of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Additional information
The vehicle must be returned in an acceptably clean condition in order to avoid additional charges.
Business hours
The supplier will hold the vehicle for 90 minutes after your scheduled pick-up time as long as it is within their normal business hours. After this time, your booking may be canceled without refund.
