Surprice at Tenerife Airport South

Pros: Agent did not answer, it was not possible to rent car without insurance even with depositum. Do not recommend again. Would just go with some other car agent

Pros: Car (Fiat Panda Hybrid) was really clean and new. A bit underpowered (could not keep 120km/h on the highway steep slopes)

Cons: They don't have a desk, you solve all issues with a woman on a bench. She was indeed professional and friendly. At checkout there was nobody, so I had to leave the keys in the car, which feels a bit uncomfortable if you don't have full insurance. Overall I was satisfied, I have been treated well, but the renting process felt a bit awkward. I think I would rent again from Surprise, as the price was unbeatable.

Cons: Scam. Took 2 hours to find the meeting point. They make u pay more than double the price witouth giving u a notice about it. They don’t show up when u deliver the car, they make u leave the keys in a box. Dont respond on messages after u deliver the car and they dont pay back the deposit as stated in the contract. Total scam company!

Cons: They did not give me any correct papers and ran away with the car keys when I delivered the undamaged car 11.2.23 but I understand/fear that they will steal 100 percent of the the deposit and does not answer my calls and also uses fake whatsapp numbers when they initially communicated/replied to avoid leaving electronical tracs that the police could use to catch them. They are a scam and swindlers of the deposit that is not returned

Cons: The lady that I dealt with when picking and dropping the car did not speak english at all. She called me and started to speak to me in spanish. Most bothering for me was when she tried to tell me that the extra insurance was compulsory which I had to refuse quite a few times until she agreed that was not the case. i was asked for 70 euros on top of the agreed price which i didn’t pay. When dropping the car she was 40 min late, and we nearly missed our flight. Worst experience with Sureprice

Pros: De communicatie bij het afhalen van de wagen verliep niet zo vlot. Er was niemand bij het afhaalpunt. Dus hebben we uiteindelijk zelf contact opgenomen.

Cons: It was hard to communicate with them. No one there for drop off, spent ages trying to contact them. The car was old and dirty, very slow and not great to drive. I found the staff communication very unprofessional.

Cons: Pickup instructions were not clearly given (even when calling) , card reader had big problems, car was in bad shape, car return was although personally discussed at pickup a nightmare: Person didnt show up and we had to catch a flight. Helpline didn't understand proper english.

Cons: Meet and greet arrangement very inefficient and time consuming. They didn't turn up to collect the car, I had to leave it unlocked with keys under seat! They also took the deposit money from my card rather than block it as other suppliers do.

Cons: We did the insurance. We had a little bump in the car but not for our fault, we found the car damaged while parked. it’s a damage of max 50€. The company take me 250€. I think it’s too much because I’ve already pay for the insurance.
