They offer competitive rates but they will treat you like a second class citizen if you don’t take out their extra cover. They will also look to over charge for anything they can. We booked a car which said it would fit two big cases in the boot, but they then said we could only have a car which would fit 1 in. They also charged us £250 to go and recover their car which failed to start.

Looked like it had been in a sand storm and the wheels had looked like they'd never been cleaned from new... Coated in brake dust!

You have to be very careful there, because they add an insurance to the contract that you never asked for and makes no sense, but costs 260 EUR for 11 days. By the way If you needed insurance, you can buy it online for less than 7 EUR per day!

Record-go gave me the Chinese knockoff car "Dr" which was big, clunky, used too much gas and has not enough power to move around hills of Tenerife. Cons: The location is about 10 mins from the airport and the shuttle bus runs about every 20 mins so calculate extra time in.

Cons: No organisation is the main issue. The reception to collect is unorganised with people pushing in front of each other. The time taken to go through the paperwork to receive the car is lengthy. The car model was nothing like the one we wanted. We were 'upgraded' but the car was nothing like the smaller one we requested. When asked to not upgrade, I was told I'm having the upgraded car anyway as the one I wanted was no available. Upon return of the car you wait 30+ mins to go to the airport.

Will never go with ye again.
