Cons: Very rude lady was trying to convince me to buy insurance ( i already had one) from them. It nearly went to argument as I was explaining her that I have insurance, had to ask people where the pick up point is as she told me one of the advisors will navigate me.

Cons: The fact that they have 2 locations. We walked to the carpark first but had to go back to the airport to make the contract.

Cons: I will never be using the rental company Record Go again as their staff are rude and unhelpful. They offer competitive rates but they will treat you like a second class citizen if you don’t take out their extra cover. They will also look to over charge for anything they can. We booked a car which said it would fit two big cases in the boot, but they then said we could only have a car which would fit 1 in. They also charged us £250 to go and recover their car which failed to start.

Since it is last in line, I had to wait behind people searching their own drop off point which took the most time. The agent did not know where the car was, and we had to find it and show it to the agent in order to get the keys. The car had assistance settings that could not be changed and was highly inconvenient to drive (albeit being new ).

Samuel was amazing and helped us to the car with our luggage and fitted the baby seat (I hope I’ve spelt your name correctly) We used a different company the previous year at the same airport and it was a complete nightmare and a scam! I was very prepared to have a €1200 deposit held on my card but in no way prepared to have a further €100 charged fully off my credit card for a fuel deposit... Laughable really as the car we had would of taken €60-65 to fill from empty. The car inside was nice and clean but sadly the outside was filthy! Looked like it had been in a sand storm and the wheels had looked like they'd never been cleaned from new... Coated in brake dust!

Nice enough agent lady, but alot of faff to get keys due to paper processes. Come on RecordGo, update your check in process and you will be most popular choice by far!

You have to be very careful there, because they add an insurance to the contract that you never asked for and makes no sense, but costs 260 EUR for 11 days. By the way If you needed insurance, you can buy it online for less than 7 EUR per day!

Cons: La llave del coche no hacia buen contacto lo que dificultaba la conducción y puesta en marcha del coche, además una de las ruedas se deshinchó un poco de acuerdo con lo que el ordenador del coche decía la llevamos a hinchar, la hinchamos como las demás y el sistema de abordo del coche seguía diciendo que esa misma rueda estaba baja, además el coche en las cuestas se ahogaba y no tiraba muy bien.

Record-go gave me the Chinese knockoff car "Dr" which was big, clunky, used too much gas and has not enough power to move around hills of Tenerife. Car was leaking windshield fluid which made it impossible to clean the windshields and had issues with dipped lights (they were not working) as well as internal lights (not working)

Pros: They had the best deal at the time of our booking. Didn't take the extra insurance and they didn't try to upsell. Fair documentation of car damages before pick up and no tricks that you can sometimes experience in other countries played to get extra money od you.

Cons: The location is about 10 mins from the airport and the shuttle bus runs about every 20 mins so calculate extra time in.

Cons: No organisation is the main issue. The reception to collect is unorganised with people pushing in front of each other. The time taken to go through the paperwork to receive the car is lengthy. The car model was nothing like the one we wanted. We were 'upgraded' but the car was nothing like the smaller one we requested. When asked to not upgrade, I was told I'm having the upgraded car anyway as the one I wanted was no available. Upon return of the car you wait 30+ mins to go to the airport.

There was no obvious queue - people were just standing around - the rental agents weren’t advising people what to do. We submitted all our info online prior to the rental and had to write it all out again by hand on a piece of paper. Never came across a more inefficient car rental company. Will never go with ye again.
