Cons: When we returned the car, we were unexpectedly charged €36 for not having it washed inside and out. This was the first time a rental company required us to return a car cleaned, and we were not informed of this at pickup—only at drop-off. The car was not particularly dirty, and the charge was based on a vague clause stating the car should be returned in the same condition, including fuel and cleanliness. While fuel was clearly mentioned, no specific mention was made about washing the car.

Cons: Oil service was not reset and oil level was below minimum. Had to buy and add oil. No Ad Blue in the car when we got it. The car was after two days starting to have reduced power. Had to buy an fill 10L of Ad Blue. Shouldn’t be like that when you rent a car

Later, when I did an on-line check-in - here the rent-a-car tricks begin and app guides you in such a way that you still pay for the best insurance, at the end you see that you pay even more than what is stated on the contract. plus, you order one vehicle, gets something different.

Cons: We ordered a Citroen C3 Aircross, but were given a Fiat 500x as a comparable vehicle. The Citroen can hold at least 2 standard 20 kg of luggage, but not a rented Fiat vehicle. The rental employee did not want to deal with us at all. When returning the car, we were accused of causing a scratch on the vehicle that was already there. If I had not videotaped the entire vehicle when I took over, the damage would have been claimed from us.

Was also a 1/3 full tank of fuel on pick up, which is impossible to guess when returning, so effectively lose money there too.
