Moventur at Cagliari Airport

Pros: The agent was very friendly and professional

Cons: This time everything was very good.

Pros: Nothing - it was atrocious

Cons: Everything - it was atrocious

Pros: friendly staff

Cons: The car was given to me as clean and that is why I agreed to a cleaning fee upfront for when I would return the car after the rental period. However, the car was dirty inside and outside. Also I was told at the counter that tank would be 3/4 full (although I booked full to full) but it was not even half full.

Pros: C'erano diversi danni sulla carrozzeria

Pros: None

Pros: --

Cons: We had to buy AdBlue for the car (an expense that shouldn't be the customer's responsibility), otherwise it would have broken down mid-trip. We kept the receipt and sent it by email for reimbursement. They didn't reimburse us because (they say) the AdBlue payment method wasn't the same as the booking card (we paid in cash). Even though we had total insurance, we're not entitled to a refund?

Pros: Very fast and did not push extra services

Cons: Nothing all was good

Pros: once again i would like to bring up the lady that atended us for the most professional standarts

Cons: easy to make and not so hard to undestand all of the necessary steps

Pros: Everything went smoothly

Pros: Freundlich und unkompliziert

Pros: See above

Cons: See above

Pros: Friendly, efficient and professional.

Cons: The care was not very clean outside and had no water for the windscreen. Other than that nothing.

Pros: the person was informative and speak english on ok level what is important for us during travelling.

Cons: The car has a problem with the back right suspension, I could hear the noise when driving so technical condition of the car was not perfect. I don't appreciate a confusion about the insurance which we authomatically bought at a different provider who offer your service. In the moment of pick up and after explanation I had impression the insurance i bought was not good enough and i should invest additional money to buy one from Moventur which sounds like a scam !! And it is not true

Pros: Easy to deal with.

Cons: The car provided was not cleaned after previous rental.

Pros: Car in good condition

Cons: As explained, problems at drop off, office closenobody answered at phone call, no information...

Pros: Friendly staff, able to clearly explain the requirements, no waiting

Cons: Nothing

Pros: nice and easy once we located the car rental offices (not really clear in the airport)

Pros: It was fast, the agent explained me everything the documents were also sent to me by e-mail.

Pros: Friendly and helpful team

Cons: Quick and easy

Pros: Overall it was a good experience

Cons: Nobody at the agent counter when arrived in the middle of the day. Contacted the office without response. Had to make a phone call to get agents back to the counter.

Pros: Great service. We got the premium package through Discover cars and the agent at Moventur explained that we had no financial liability with this package. I was very impressed that there was no attempt to sell any more extras. Also the extra driver was free of charge which was a bonus too.

Pros: Modern car.

Cons: N/A

Pros: Fácil de levantar e deixar o carro. Sem problemas

Cons: Os carros deveriam ser limpos

Pros: Niente

Cons: Mi hanno consegnato un auto senza liquido refrigerante e senza olio motore attendo rimborso di euro 37 per spesa da me sostenuta personalmente

Pros: There was nothing to like.

Cons: Locating the kiosk was a challenge due to its hidden location & lack of signposting. After 25-30 minutes with 3 young children & 2-large suitcases. We arrived at the kiosk 5th in line, despite this, it took another 1hr 35mins to receive the keys. Then, we had to navigate the car park and locate our car in all the mellay all by ourselves. Returning the car proved difficult also as there were no spaces available for Moventur which meant waiting around for one to become available.

Pros: Desk manager being very nice

Cons: It was a bit difficult to find the parking place when I gave back the car, but it is the airport problem I think

Pros: NOTHING IT WAS ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE

Cons: REPEAT

Pros: the agent was very friendly and helpful

Cons: received lower quality car, Lancia instead of Mini Peugot

Cons: Bohužel nedošlo k zapůjčení, protože jsem neměla kreditní kartu, což je jediný způsob, jak zaplatit kauci. Peníze za zapůjčené auto online komplet propadly.

Pros: The agent at pickup was helpful with good manners.

Cons: Late pickup charge. Very unfair.

Pros: The agent at the Movetur Cagliari Elmas desk was fantastic. Don’t get his name, but he had cropped hair and glasses. Very welcoming and helpful. Checking and checkout process excellent and painless.

Cons: Everything was 5/5

Pros: Easy to get a car for holiday

Pros: In person they were helpful and friendly.

Cons: They try to scam people with the cleanliness of the car and to put a charge after the event.

Pros: The guy working at the desk (same for drop off and pick up) was super friendly and helpful! I would definitely recommend this company for Sardinia car rental services.

Pros: Polite and professional

Cons: It would help to know beforehand how much the full insurance is.

Pros: They are subcontracted to discovery car and is difficult to change anything

Pros: Everthing

Cons: Nothing to say!

Pros: Everything was perfect, fast pick up the car and drop off , deposit was returned the same day after drop off

Cons: Nothing

Pros: they accept driver aged 81+

Cons: They don't check the car condition before and during pick-up

Pros: All is ok aboutnservice

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: It was all very pleasant..

Cons: There isn’t much parking for their cars and we had to wait for someone to collect a car before we could park ours and get to the checkin for our flight..

Pros: Friendly

Cons: It wasn’t until the third car that we got the right one. The first had something loose underneath, the second showed an oil issue, and the third was fine at first, but after two days it gave a message that AdBlue needed to be refilled. The person at the desk was friendly, though.

Pros: Everything from A to Z

Cons: Nothing. All was perfect!

Pros: Price

Cons: Car not clean and not with full fuel. The refund deposit with bank transfer (it’s impossible!!!!)

Pros: Scammers avoid like cancer and there will be more 0 star reviews coming on all social media and on Google.

Cons: Charged my credit card which resulted in paying currency fees and also haven’t refund it yet being 2 weeks after the car was dropped off!

Pros: Car was very good

Cons: Moventur are a bunch of thieves. They have not refunded my €850 deposit citing credit card transaction issues. They asked for my bank account details and then said they were incorrect. Discovercars should not promote Moventur.

Pros: Molto veloci e amichevoli

Pros: Easy to find, pick-up and drop. But car was not clean.

Cons: Car was not clean and with many scratches. Service personal at pickup and delivery were very helpful.

Pros: Very nice agent and the desk

Cons: Crowded parking, literally piled up of cars when returning the vehicle. No space available, none helping

Pros: The agent did a wonderful job when we took the car, very polite, courteous and efficient.

Cons: As said above, the car was dirty and need to be serviced

Pros: Great service

Pros: It only rook a few minutes to get our car and the employees at both locations were really friendly and supportive.

Cons: Everything went perfectly.

Pros: Relatively fast check-in at desk. But difficult to find it. There are other rental companies with an office in the arrival hall. To find Moventur yiu first need to walk to the parking garage.

Cons: After dropping the car you have to walk across the parking back to the office. No on is checking the car together with you.

Pros: Customer care and the car was almost new.

Cons: On arrival it was a little difficult Finding their office, but the real problem was finding their parking area to leave the car. The airport can invest in proper signage.

Pros: Niente

Cons: La agente è arrivata 15 minuti in ritardo. L‘auto non era la stessa del sito web. L’auto era sporca e rovinata ovunque esternamente

Cons: Cleaning upon return required.

Pros: Staff at the desk in Cagliari were polite

Cons: My car was supposed to be similar to Skoda Kamiq (small SUV). Instead I got a Ford Focus. The Ford Focus smelt of body odour and drove very badly. It made me 3 year old daughter so sick we had to keep stopping. We were supposed to have something that could take 3 suitcases but we couldn’t fit two in without removing part of the cover shelf in the back windscreen. When we raised that we didn’t like the car, we were told that it was in the same class as the Skoda Kamiq. False advertising.

Pros: Overall condition of the car, the agent was friendly and efficient

Cons: Finding the drop-off place (as we didn't return the car at the same airport where we picked it up)

Pros: It was the best rental experience ever .

Pros: The car was amazing

Cons: I have a limit of 700 hundred in the credit card for my booking, and my booking only will cost 300€ more or less, but something happen with de limit of my credit card and i have to pay 500 for the car to get to spent only 70 on the deposit. That kind of way to facilitate things in a foreign country is a bit boring and stressful. With a booking made for so long the company could me more flexible with clients. So i have to spent 200€ more than i thought and decide in a few minutes. A bit sad

Pros: Solucionaron el problemilla perfectamente

Pros: clear information and quickly handled pickup dropoff

Cons: upon arrival it was not immediately clear where the office was

Cons: They took away 50€ from the deposit, cause they didn’t told me where to go to put back the car and the gasoline that I used to find the entrance took away maybe an inch different from what the amount of gas that they gave me at the arrival. I tried to talk about it but it was not possible. Really bad.

Pros: fast and reliable

Cons: car seat costs too much

Cons: The gas tank was almost half full and we were supposed to return the car with that amount of gas on the tank which is not as easy as when you can return the car with full tank.

Pros: Good conditions, easy and simple procedure, no hidden fees

Pros: Quick and easyt

Cons: Nothing

Pros: they have good cars

Cons: There is no signs to guide you to their reception desk and also no signs to drop your car

Pros: Hassle free service

Cons: Make and model not what we ordered, new car still had stickers on doors and windows, had to walk and search for the car

Pros: None

Cons: Every Things

Pros: Nice car. Friendly staff. The car was so new that we were unable to enable Apple carplay (without downloading some additional app) and connect google map with the car. But the car has its own navigation system and the staff helped turn it on (free of charge).

Cons: none.

Pros: All clear and quick.

Cons: During taking car the place was shown on the map, where was a big parkplace and this for new customer was not easy to find. Mayby more detailed map given to hand would be helpfull. 2 separate places of parking spot not easy to navigate.

Pros: Bardzo szybka, miła obsługa. Dostałem samochód wyższej klasy niż rezerwowałem, praktycznie nowy. Bezproblemowy zwrot.

Pros: Very good service, good price and car better than expected. Nice staff. Absolutely recommend.

Pros: Contract explained efficiently and if extra insurance not taken out the consequences of same.

Cons: Difficulty finding office from Cagliari airport terminal - no signs and people inside terminal unhelpful in finding it. Took a long time to find out that you have to leave the terminal to get to car rental office

Pros: Coche nuevo y rapidez en entrega

Cons: No tener informacion de donde estaba el mostrador

Pros: Overall value for money Cleanliness Car was good

Cons: Trying to find the rental desk was not clear Trying to find the correct gate to go through to drop the car off

Pros: The gentleman who checked the car when we returned it.

Cons: 30 minute wait for staff to appear at car rental desk when we collected the car and not even an apology for keeping us waiting.

Pros: Lydia was really nice and helpful

Pros: None. Would never rent again

Cons: Not having an Automatic car which I paid extra for. Car only had half a tank of gas on pickup, giving me a lower class vehicle than what I paid

Pros: The car was clean and worked well

Cons: Terrible customer service. I paid a small premium to return the car before Moventur office hours. I almost missed my flight as I could not find how/where to return it. No Moventur signs at the car return area. No instructions at Moventur booth inside the airport on what to do, and where to park. By the time I found a spot to park the car (near Avis) it was 8am. Staff told me to inspect the car or send a video or photo. No proper instructions at pick up on what I needed to do. Horrible experience

Pros: The were friendly and efficient.

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Rental seemed easy.

Cons: Drop off was a bit of a hassle as there was no direction on where to take the car and had to drive around the lot looking for the Moventur spaces. As a result, I ended up forgetting my phone holder on the car, so. That was disappointing.

Pros: N/A

Cons: They gave me a cheaper option car with no partial refund. I bought a larger SUV, automatic and I paid extra for it, they gave me the smallest one and manual, not enough room in the boot to fit 2 suitcases and 2 carry on bags. Well and truly over paid for this rental and nothing offered in return. They also tried to say the fuel was half when I got in, luckily I took photos as it was well below half a tank.

Cons: No support with baby sit mounting in the car.

Pros: Super easy to deal with, clear communication and no hassle. Full coverage with their insurance = no need to even take pictures of any dents or scratches as they didn't even need to check it upon handing it in again. Just full to full fuel tank and nothing else to think about.

Cons: Nothing, it was great.

Cons: they did not condider the full coverage agreed with discover cars valid, and I had to pay for new insurance directly to moventur, with vary different prices !! I paid directly to Moventur more 425,46 euros

Pros: Very friendly

Pros: Perfect

Cons: No much people to pick up the car

Cons: Refused me a car

Pros: Friendly, helpfunctie, knowledgeable, good English, clear.

Cons: I didn't realize that I needed to bring 2 ID's so I had to search for a 2nd one. Not a big deal, but if I didn't have it I couldn't have rented the car.

Pros: Fast service and friendly agents!

Pros: They should answer their clients emails after they have closed out the contract for simple inquiries.

Cons: Unwilling and unprofessional service during car pickup. When assistance was needed for car issues, nobody answered the phone on the line.

Pros: check the oil before renting.

Cons: car needed his check up. So I needed a car swap. But the second car turned out to be smaller. 2 suitcases didnt fit. We found out to late...

Pros: Car was new and clean.

Cons: I was asked to wash the car before returning or I would be charged 12 euro. I ordered a Jeep Renegade, did get a Skoda

Pros: What I expected

Cons: They gave us a tank at 40km full which forced us to have to gas up on our way to hotel and cause unnecessary delays which is a service we pay for when renting a car…

Pros: After waiting in line for 30 min to speak to someone, when renting the vehicle, staff were nice and efficient

Cons: Nothing. Bad customer service experience. I sent an email protesting 20 euro cleaning fee and the response I received did not resolve my concerns.

Pros: I liked that I received the same car I wanted and that it was almost new, it had only 25k kilometers driven, it was really good driving that car.

Cons: I did not like that when I rented a car by Discover Cars I bought full insurance at website and when I wanted to pick Up my car at Moventur they told me that this insurance is not full, if something happens I might pay Up to 1.5k EUR plus if something happens I need to pay for it and later ask Discovercars to pay it back to me. I could buy another insurance at Moventur but it was expensive (150 EuR) so I did not buy another insurance but fortunately noting happened and deposit was returned to me

Pros: It was an easy process to pick up and drop off the vehicle. The salesman was polite, knowledgeable and definitely not pushy.

Cons: Like all Car Rental Companies it takes way too long to return your deposit. This process should only take 4 days at the most. All companies are the same but, this needs to improve.

Pros: Brand-new car, relatively easy pick up

Cons: the instructions on how to return need to be confirmed in writing

Cons: That you have to pay insurance again when you already paid online

Pros: When the representative showed up he was friendly

Cons: The desk was not easy to find The representative was not three and I had to wait 15 minutes Th car had to be washed needing more time The value for money was terrible give the abive

Pros: Friendly staff, gave options for car.

Cons: Adblue tank was empty, had to fill it.

Pros: very quick and easy to deal with

Pros: Good prices, very competitive

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Nothing, huge scam

Cons: See previous response

Pros: No hassles were given, despite the reviews read. The car given was brand new. An unrecorded scratch was found and reported to the desk right away. The car was returned without issues, following a light interior vacuuming to ensure I comly with the terms of service and avoid cleaning fees.

Cons: The instructions stated that the pickup desk is within the terminal, while in fact it was in a building outside. Nonetheless the staff picked up the phone and explained where to go very well.

Pros: Good price for a good car that did the job.

Cons: The credit card payment was declined , and had to call credit card company and it wasn't on their end. Faulty card reader at the facility.

Pros: All good, kind and effective, the car was really great

Cons: they could speed up a little more the check in operations

Cons: Our friends rented another car and they got a new hybrid. Ours was old and hit all round.

Pros: Smooth on-site booking

Cons: Our booking didn’t go ahead because we didn’t have an international drivers licence. These licences are obsolete in much of the world only issued by an automobile association. We hired cars in numerous country’s and an international driver’s license was never required. The requirement should be made evident when booking and not written in small print amongst terms and conditions. We hired a car in Sardinia through another company that didn’t require an international drivers licence. I

Pros: It was a very good experience. Make sure to get the cleaning service if you plan on visiting the beaches in and around Cagliari. The car gets dirty and there’s sand everywhere.

Cons: All car lenders have the same issues at Cagliari airport in that the cars and service desk is quite far away from the terminal.

Pros: Condition of the car

Cons: I am of the opinion, that the whole services could be way more automated. Though thats a general challenge in todays business.

Pros: Ease of picking up, staff knowledge

Cons: Wanted car checked when dropped off but assured because we took full insurance they didn’t need to check. Would have preferred they accompany me to check

Pros: The drop off was very efficient with little to no waiting time

Cons: The pick up time was extremely slow, although it was busy at the time I have never had to wait to long to pick up a car and I have travelled to 71 countries

Pros: Provided automatic hybrid car instead of manual At same price

Pros: Car was as described. Clean and new Fiat 500c. Customer service was friendly and price of the rent was very reasonable.

Cons: We needed to wait 45 minutes at the rental desk when picking up the car because efficiency of the rental agent wasn’t that great. But he was friendly when our turn came.

Pros: Easy pick up and great clean car, friendly agents.

Cons: The agent suggested that I pay for additional insurance coverage while I had already payed full insurance through Discovery Cars.

Pros: Good value, great car - toyota yaris hybrid with low fuel consumption

Cons: everything was fina

Pros: Friendly staff, easy procedures.

Cons: I think the cars supposed to be little bit better for Sardinia. My Panda hybrid had lack of power. Too many mountains.

Pros: All perfect

Cons: Wonderful

Pros: dropping off extremely quick

Cons: they try to make me pay a washing, and extremely long the picking up

Pros: Perfect service, I raccomanded this car rental agency

Pros: They gave us an upgrade of the car. They car was hybrid which was efficient and we didn't waste alot of gas.

Cons: That we only had to pay with credit card and because of that we were charged more.

Pros: Great value for money, superb service at the desk

Cons: Cleanliness of the car wasn’t excellent

Pros: Good value and nice car and staff

Cons: Cannot have sand in the car or would pay an extra charge.

Pros: Nothing

Cons: Everything

Cons: Couldn’t accommodate a change to booking

Pros: Friendly and supportive staff, clean car, easy to find,

Cons: You have to pay by CREDIT (not debit card) card only (on the main driver’s name) to get the price you were supposed to get when booking online.

Pros: Value for money and very polite and happy agents.

Pros: Friendly agent, car in good condition with low mileage

Cons: Cleaning fee of 12 € discovered at the airport. Almost mandatory to book it at the beginning of the rental since you have to give the car back cleaned and you have no time to do it before catching the flight. Quite unusual.

Pros: Quick & easy.

Cons: Almost new car wasn't equipped with floor mates.

Pros: good and new car friendly statt at drop-off

Cons: Very unfriendly staff member at pick-up

Pros: Nice people at the counter.

Cons: The car was missing from the lot, so we had to wait for 30min for them to find it. It had not been cleaned properly. Windscreen wipers were malfunctioning.

Pros: Nothing! Worst car rent experienc. The staff are rude, the car was in extremely poor condition and made a ridiculous damage claim. It appears to have happened to a lot of people during this year. Charge cheap rates to sting customers with damage claims.

Cons: We were provided a car with significant scrapes scratches all over the vehicle. Moventur’s pre vehicle inspection only outlines 4 ‘small scratches’. We sent photos to the WhatsApp, as requested outlining another 9 scratches that were not on the report. After returning the vehicle, Monentur then claimed we were responsible for the smallest scratch that is hard to see on the photo they provided and proceeded to charge us €330.

Pros: Moventur behaved criminally w/r/t their insistence on buying their insurance. She said that you have to have the international drivers permit to drive in Italy (which turns out to be true, and I don't) and that they couldn't rent the car to me ... UNLESS I purchased the insurance. That cost me another $180. She then told me to lie to the police and tell them I left my permit with them if I got stopped.

Cons: Moventur behaved criminally w/r/t their insistence on buying their insurance.

Cons: I was forced to add Moventurs additional Insurance that was $300+ plus the car did not have any adblue which cost me an additional $30 on day 3-4 of the trip to prevent the car from shutting down somewhere

Pros: The car was present...and the price correct.

Cons: A lot off damage before start... I received list with damage after return...This list is false..I refuse it

Pros: There was no car there when I arrived

Cons: There was no car there when I arrived

Pros: The pick up and drop off process were very quick and easy. The staff spoke good English and were very informative and pleasant to deal with. The car was new and in excellent condition. A great experience overall!

Pros: Moventur are not to be trusted. Dirty car, not ready on time, disorganised.

Pros: The administrators working the front desk were scrambling to help find a solution for me which was highly appreciated. They were very nice as well.

Pros: Key drop box upon return.

Cons: Long counter wait, extra 12 euro to wash car.

Pros: Return went smooth but pick up was not very pleasant

Cons: The pick up Woman was rude and tried to get me to pay for insurance twice and charged me 12 euros to return the car clean (even though the car was dirty when we took it).

Cons: Return process was not communicated, they wanted us to wait for an unknown length of time in the full sun and heat. The cars were very far away from the rental desk in the farthest possible parking area.

Pros: The car was decent

Cons: I feel I was conned with damage charges

Pros: Deficiente al final del uso del vehículo.

Cons: El vehículo era moderno y permitía conectar dispositivos móviles con facilidad.

Pros: Auto nuova conforme a quella prenotata. Per il resto assolutamente nulla.

Cons: Da dove iniziare?

Pros: Got a car upgrade for the same price.

Cons: A little bit to less of parkingspots for drop off.

Pros: Nothing.

Cons: Business model seems to be to scam tourists by making deductions to the deposit. The extra insurance was 25 euro per day so would have cost me 250 euros. I was charged 160 euros for a very faint scuff to the black trim underneath the rear bumper. I’ve rented cars all over the world and never been expected to check under the car before.

Pros: Very straight forward

Pros: Helpful, honest and easy to deal with.

Pros: The car was almost brand new, perfectly clean. Daniele made a quick check and the drop off went very quickly.

Cons: If you don’t purchase the full cover insurance from the car rental, you are asked to clean/wash the car before return.

Pros: Very good service.

Cons: Communication between car rent provider and Discovery cars especially regarding full coverage insurance.

Pros: Very friendly staff :)

Cons: Upcharge for automatic. I know that is normal is Europe, but it is still very old fashioned.

Pros: The receptionist was nice and attentive

Cons: They pretend to deliver a car of a lower class that the one rented, but in the end they came back and confirmed my arguments.

Pros: Friendly and efficient and personable. I was helped by Gabriele at the drop-off - super-helpful and nice, v. good English.

Cons: Overall excellent service and value for money - they are a new car rental company at Cagliari (where I travel often and have used other providers) - and I recommend Moventur.

Pros: very nice staff, cas as new one

Cons: above-standard long return time, about half an hour inspection of defects, in total the return took us almost an hour

Pros: Last Minute google search

Cons: Spiralling cost.
