Pros: I got a car eventually.
Cons: I had to "prove" that I had my license for longer than year. They wanted a photo of my expired license. I'm 42 and have been driving for 26 years. The guy said he knew that I had my license longer, but also wouldn't help me out. They are trying to scam me out of replacing the entire hood of the car for a tiny scratch, that is provable to have existed prior to my rental.
Pros: Friendly, fast and efficient. Would recommend Cagliari Italy car rent
Cons: Car was a bit battered
Cons: Big hassle because my driver license was just renewed but I had to provide a license that was at least a year old They were not going to rent the car without this validation. Luckily I had a photo of last year's International license. What a waste of time.
Cons: We had to wait for more than an hour queueing in front of the office “Italy Car Rent” in that terrible heat, because there were only 2 agents who seemed to move very slow, until finally we were asked for a “Credit Card” to pay the entire cost of car rental, otherwise we had to pay almost double the price using a debit card. Obviously, we didn’t agree, so we were left without a car, without €20 commission paid online for the advanced booking, 2 hours of our holiday and a lot of nerves lost.
Pros: Customer orientated staff at car pick up/return location
Cons: Awful experience on arrival. Long queues moving very slowly. Left airport location to actual park area and was able to make quicker process there (they were embarrassed about their airport based colleagues). Did not feel car was a particularly fair ‘or equal’. They had marked up very small paint chips - no problem with that, but it makes you paranoid about anything happening.
Pros: Friendly helpful staff but could do with a bit more explanation about how the car operates especially for overseas clients who can’t read Italian eg how radio, bluetooth etc works.
Cons: Main issue at pickup-told by staff that my driver’s license had to show date of issue-Australian license don’t- they have an expiry date. Despite my age and International Driving license they would not rent me a car without proof of date of issue- fortunately I had a photo of my old license and they accepted its expiry date as proof of date of issue. Some other Australians in the office had same issue and it took ages to get some proof of their license date of issue.

Cons: Queued for circa 90 minutes to get seen at desk. Was given a VW Taigo instead of a VW T-Roc Car was not the cleanest inside Car had zero washer fluid in it from pick up Car said that oil needed to be checked about a week into the hire!

Cons: Took 4 hours to queue to collect vehicle and then the denial I had paid a deposit to secure the vehicle. I’m still owed my deposit. Then the “add on” of insurance when the original document days you are insured.

Cons: Unusually long and extremely slow que to pick up. Long time to add aditional damages in the parking lot in burning sun. We drove off 1hr 40min after the scheduled time. In Spain at Alamo it took 12min. People were terrified of their policy to buy their insurance or get hit by 'new damages' worth hundreds of euros! Everyone was frantically taking detailed photos before pick up and adding to the delay by the attendant.
Pros: Their staff is overall friendly
Cons: We waited more than 3 hours to collect the car, they are understaffed and pressure you to buy their insurance saying that the my insurance with discovercars can be voided but if you drive on dirt roads which can be quite frequent in Sardinia

Cons: Same as above - delayed our trip but 1.5 hrs while trying to understand that we had paid DiscoveryCars for insurance but this did not provide full cover insurance by the rental company.

Pros: We got a really nice hybrid car which was very comfortable to drive
Cons: They charge extra autocasco insurance if you don’t pay with credit card (not mentioned anywhere before on a renting voucher ) and so that any scratch you make you don’t have to care about it, they get money from the insurance but they don’t repair their car. It seems like mafia system.
Cons: Long wait time, dirty car seats for kids - no help with installation, disorganized staff, problem with car lock spent over an hour on hold on the helpline, had to go back to the airport from hotel (1.5 hour round trip), no compensation for loss and inconvenience

Pros: It was quite efficient and easily accessible in the arrivals hall. The car was only about 150 metres walk away from the terminal building. When I returned the car it was very efficient and there were no quibbles with the condition of the car and the attendant was very polite and courteous.
Cons: They did try to sell the extra level of insurance but you had already informed me that this wasn't necessary. When I went to pick up my car in the parking lot it was 10.30pm and very dark with poor lighting. I thoroughly inspected the car and discovered more damage than was on the sheet and I returned to the booking office and reported it. I also took photos as evidence.
Pros: Ordered small car, got a bigger and better one:)
Cons: Very bored and disinterested staff. When taking over, they impose their own insurance, which is significantly more expensive. Unwillingness to make any agreement regarding the collection and delivery of the vehicle

Cons: I ordered Fiat Tipo SW and got Opel Croassland which was much smaler than any station wagon in these group. Boardbag for kitboarding hardly pass in to the car.
