RentSmart24 at Pisa Airport

Pros: snelle afhandeling

Cons: Het pick up punt is zeer slecht te vinden

Pros: Nothing

Cons: Waiting

Pros: Very cheap

Cons: Slightly confusing pickup instructions

Pros: Friendly people

Cons: The level at which the company operates. You don't hand over a rental car with that kind of damage.

Pros: 1. Quick pick-up, and drop-off. 2. The entire deposit was refunded. 3. Good value for money.

Cons: 1. The cars were quite dirty. 2. The service is advertised as operating 24/7, but late at night, the car is handed over by parking lot staff who cannot assist with resolving any issues (though I have no complaints about the staff themselves).

Pros: they could understand you

Cons: the car could have been a little cleaner but otherwise good

Pros: Nothit

Cons: Everything

Pros: It is close to the airport

Cons: Airport collection is not from an official area so is vague and confusing. The condition of the vehicle.

Pros: The car was Oke.

Cons: The agent wasn’t helpful when my creditcard didn’t work. I had to make a new reservation on a different name in order to use another credit which is insane! The car costed me the double amount of money.

Pros: Competitive prices and very professional efficient and staff.

Cons: Pick-up from the airport was a bit confusing. Car had unregistered cosmetic damage that we didn't spot at collection and kept us worried throughout our holiday. Fortunately it wasn't an issue at drop off.

Pros: Poor, wrong car provided and double charge

Cons: Poor service when messaging ref additional charges and no resolution, rep was rude

Cons: Could of spent time explaining functions in car such as car play sat nav - language left in Danish and took me ages to change to English

Pros: Employees, maybe because they were not Italians :)

Pros: Location

Cons: Awful experience. 3 days either with a faulty car or awaiting Road Assist to help. €245 euros out of pocket after having paid for battery to either be restarted or replaced up front with the promise of getting my money back No response for more than 7days from a variety of customer service emails and staff that were flippant and unhelpful when describing my situation Real sour taste left from a wonderful holiday and embarrassing and shocking at the lack of response and customer care

Pros: Really easy to deal with and very fast. Online check-in especially helpful.

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: Quick, efficient.

Pros: I like that the offer was very good and affordable, nice and fast shuttle service from the airport.

Cons: The car I rented had a certain problem with windshield glass, constant humidity in evening hours

Pros: Smooth pick up and dropping

Pros: Nothing

Cons: Dirty car, no checks

Pros: Terrible, they scammed us with a mark we hadn’t caused! Be very careful, photograph and video absolutely everything. They promised they’d send the damage report, so we can claim on insurance but haven’t to this day. I’ve chased on their email provided and this bounces. Be very careful and have insurance in place

Cons: Scammers

Pros: Nice help - I couldn’t get from the Pisa airport to their shuttle but they called me right away on WhatsApp and helped a lot. Thanks!

Cons: Fast pickup and clean car.

Pros: Not much. The additional charges made the service pretty poor,

Cons: Additional charges.

Pros: Relaxed rental

Cons: Inside the car was not so clean

Cons: Pulizia scadente dell’abitacolo auto. luce anabbagliante non funzionante. Liquido serbatoio Lavavetri assente.

Pros: De to on-line check-in, everything went smooth without waiting for a lot of paper wok.

Cons: Friendly staff and high value for the money

Pros: As above, quick collection and drop off Nice clean new vehicle Friendly helpful staff

Pros: Perfette

Cons: Nulla

Pros: Everything was good. Only 10 min walk from the airport, although there is a shuttle service. Quick pick up and drop off.

Cons: The car was without windshield washer fluid...

Pros: Everything was good. Only 10 min walk from the airport, although there is a shuttle service. Quick pick up and drop off.

Cons: The car was without windshield washer fluid...

Pros: Competitive price, quick process

Pros: Friendly staff - but it always helps to be polite and courteous to them too. Folks can be stressed travelling and the staff are there to help.

Pros: Very good

Cons: Nothing

Pros: The service was okay, meeting my expectations. I have rented cars many time in different countries and service was average

Cons: At pick up the car dashboard was showing oil check and service required. Agent informed us car was okay, no worries, but it is uncomfortable to know service is over due.

Pros: Easy check in and out

Cons: Customer service is the worst I ever experienced. Rude and disrespectful agent. And we wasted over an hour trying to find the shuttle pick up location, which ended up being under a random pine tree by the airport parking lot, no signs anywhere.

Pros: Great service - good car

Pros: Helpful staff

Cons: I use them all the time

Pros: Nothing, it was terrible

Cons: They canceled my car

Pros: Very friendly staff, easy to use no pressure

Cons: It was all very good

Pros: Friendly, helpful staff. Everything was as expected, paperwork was quick to process. All good.

Pros: The car was very good.

Cons: Our flight arrived earlier. The the agent wanted additional 45 EUR for picking up the car 40 minutes earlier as reserved. We had to wait half an hour in the sun to get that car which was there from the beginning.

Cons: Very disappointing experience with this rental company. The vehicle we received did NOT have a spare tire, only an inflation kit, which is completely inadequate in a real roadside situation. We ended up with a puncture on the highway, at night, and were left in a dangerous situation without any proper way to resolve it. The police even attended and can confirm the lack of basic equipment. Because of this, we had to take a taxi, costing €133. However, their partner insurance only reimbursed €50

Pros: Fast process

Cons: Large deposit

Cons: I pre checked in online with my credit card, got confirmation of check in and that everything was fine. On arrival to pick up the car I was immediately asked for my credit card and informed that because it only had 4 months left before exp. could not use it. If there was a problem with this card I should have been informed when at pre check in. If there was an issue I should not have been able to pay with this card at the time of purchase and that way I could have brought my other credit card.

Pros: Quick pick up and drop off procedure.

Cons: The car was not clean inside or the outside, had a several damages on the body, and was generally quite an old and outdated car.

Cons: They had my flight no, on-line check in however due to a flight delay I arrived late to be told that my booking had been cancelled. I was chargepd an extra 120 euros for lateness which was recorded as supplementary insurance so I can not claim it back on my travel insurance. I was extremely tired and unwell at the time and consequently did not contest this as robustly as I should. But as far as I am concerned is sharp practice and for this reason I would be reluctant to use this company again.

Pros: Good value for money and good service overall.

Cons: Lack of signage at Pise airport to indicate where to take the shuttle.

Abzocke ohne Ende. Nie wieder

Pros: Fast and efficient car pick up and drop off. The process was quick and straightforward, with no unnecessary delays

Cons: The car was not properly serviced and had an engine warning light on the dashboard when it was provided, which was disappointing

Pros: Very friendly, despite reviews no hard sell. Good value altogether great

Cons: The car had a slow puncture - we got 15 minutes down the road and the tyre pressure went from 40 to 20. I think the car never got checked over before renting. We did take the car back and swapped for another but this made us 1 hour late to our wedding appointment

Pros: Cheap and very easy process

Cons: The car was a bit worn out and not what I originally booked. We couldn’t find the collection point and were waiting at the wrong place. Next time a picture the picture and more detailed collection point would be useful

Pros: Faulty gesrbox in car, but prompt car replacement was good.

Pros: Cheap and easy

Cons: The car didn't have Android Auto or Apple Carplay. That should be a minimum requirement. No toll-road-membership available.

Pros: very friendly, efficient processing, easy to understand, good shuttle service too

Pros: Very quick and easy check in procedure.

Cons: The car had unmarked major hit on the front bumper passenger side. There was no procedure to amend damage report on the spot.

Pros: Pickup and drop off took no more than 15minutes. Free shuttle to and from airport.

Cons: Car had big dent on boot and crack in bumper. This had no effect on drive ability of car which was excellent.

Pros: No issues at checkout with the car

Pros: It was a great service all around

Pros: The airport Bus shuttle.

Cons: The car I received was dirty, impossible to show to friends, with damages not declared on the list and even without liquids.

Cons: Problem with car from the start. Seat belt noise remained all the time while driving

Pros: Old car, dirty, and at the end of the trip, which was 6 days, the light “refil the engine oil” appeared on the dashboard. I stopped at the petrol station and the attendant told me that “the oil need to be changed”. I rented a car for 6 days and I have to change the oil?!?! On top of that, as mentioned, the car wasn’t anywhere near what I booked, as if that is the same class, there’s a bit of looseness on the category limits.

Cons: I mentioned on the previous comment. They issued me a car that is in need of oil change!!

Cons: The first car i got had the gear not working when i wanted to go backward. I then change the car and the second car didnt have any oil, i had to go in a garage in the middle of my roadtrip and pay myself for the service. Rentsmart24 told me that they will send the money back, thing that i still did not see. Both car were very dirty and not in super condition from the outside. no one is checking the vehicule with you so you really have to take pictures when you get the keys.

Pros: A good car

Cons: Tried to fabricate scratches and suspicious with not showing the contract during signing

Pros: Pick-up and Drop-off speed

Cons: All good

Pros: Efficient, good staff, clarity of process via email.

Cons: Signage directing to the pick up area and identifying it at PISA airport could be better but no complaints other then that small detail.

Cons: They charge you for existing damage

Pros: Value for money and no hassle

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Consistently excellent all round

Cons: Nothing!

Pros: Disponibilità del personale

Cons: Nulla in particolare se non che a volte altri operatori offrono un upgrade gratuito dell’auto prenotata

Pros: just perfect all round

Cons: nothing

Pros: Fast drop off, easy check in.

Pros: Incredible staff, quick service, good cars. I have been renting cars from them for the last year and can only say positive things.

Cons: There was nothing I did not like about RentSmart24.

Cons: The staff was asking about extra insurance prepayment, the car has damages and this damages weren’t marked on paper. The staff was unpolite with costumer and have to argue with him. I won’t recommend this company to anyone.

Pros: Agent helpfulness

Pros: very kind staff and they had the patience to answer every question

Cons: I have not encountered a service we did not like with you

Pros: Everything is perfect, i have booked twice and it was excellent.

Pros: Online check in, location, pick up speed

Cons: They charged for scuff to alloy that we are 100% certain we did not do and attempted to charge for 1cm paint mark to wing mirror. Rent smart need to improve their photos of car condition

Cons: See above, plus the car required service within 160km form when we left carpark.

Pros: Nothing

Cons: They kept our money, paid for 3 months previously, and did not provide a car. Do not use.

Pros: Nothing

Cons: Messaged me after drop off to say there was chargeable damage that I was not responsible for during my rental. Car provided was a ‘nail’ that had done 1000s of km.

Pros: quick and effecient

Cons: compared to other countries 50 euros a day for a basic car is expensive

Pros: Very easy, no issues at all

Cons: Very efficient

Pros: Everything went smooth. Good price for the car, quick pickup and dropoff. Car was a bit dirty inside, but it was okay. Communication is great. No scamming or anything like that. Would repeat the process again next time

Cons: Car was dirty inside. I dont think they are cleaning them often from inside.

Pros: Mostly all good for price you can't complain

Cons: Unclear pick up point for shuttle at airport , need a map !

Cons: The cars have damage that is hardly visible when the car is picked up, particularly to the locks, and then customers are forced to pay sums that are completely out of proportion to the damage. I have twice found car locks damaged.

Pros: The price, the pick-up and drop-off solution, the only after-hours option for that airport

Cons: I had to tell them at pick-up time that one tyre was badly damaged, they replied almost a week later

Pros: It was really a great deal!

Pros: Staff were friendly and efficient.

Cons: I was asked to take out insurance and I had already done that with Discover Cars

Pros: very straightforward collection & drop-off

Cons: nothing

Pros: Quick efficient service

Pros: Excellent service

Pros: Quick and easy to deal with.

Cons: The charge for late collection was too high

Pros: 24 hour pick up. Pre check in procedure meant picking up was so much quicker.

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: Everything was good. With Rent Smart 24 we contact before trip, so I get all information which I needed so no stress at the Pick-up or Drop-Off. Staff was working quick and perfected, we didn't need to wait. Everything was super quick, so we were happy with our choice of car rental company.

Cons: We got car which wasn't very clean inside. But we are still have just best feedback about the company.

Pros: They spoke italian and were fast.

Cons: The location if the shuttle was hard to find

Pros: Very easy and most of all the price, which was incredible.

Cons: Difficult to inspect car at pick up as it was dark and raining, so had to go by trust

Pros: Very good service

Cons: There is no sign of where to wait for this car rental company they need to invest in a sign it would help customers enormously

Pros: Hicbirseyini begenmedim

Cons: Shuttle pick up pokery hard to find. No-one spoke English at the desk so we were unable to ask questions, confirm things. The rental agreement that we had to sign was all in Italian, no translation available. No-one available to check over the car condition on pick up.

Cons: No window wash in the car ....

Pros: Weren’t overly corporate trying to sell us everything or trying to scam us of money when we returned the car. They were quite relaxed and easy

Cons: Difficult to find the rental office and a bit of a walk with bags.

Pros: Quick and easy collection efficient response online

Cons: We didn’t know where to go to get the shuttle bus when we came out of the airport. There were no signs up. When we eventually found out it was on the side of a road near the entrance to a car park

Pros: Friendly efficient service. First car allocated to us had a puncture. It was immediately replaced.

Pros: Great value for money, charming staff, nice car

Pros: best ever

Cons: clear and cheap

Pros: Airport shuttle was fine. The agent we dealt with at pick up was prompt, courteous and spoke excellent English. These are the reasons I’ve given better scores in some areas.

Cons: See above. Car had technical problems, wasn’t properly cleaned and ran out of AdBlue which is only added every few months so shouldn’t be the renter’s job. Also awful rental desk/waiting conditions.

Pros: Never again!

Cons: Everything

Pros: they don't have a problem to go an extra mile to respond to the customer needs

Cons: no aircon or a fan in the office

Pros: Good value

Cons: Shambolic pick up and drop off. No water in windscreen washer.

Cons: The car could be in better condition and newer

Pros: The Staff was friendly and cooperative.

Cons: Not the case.

Pros: Great value. Friendly staff.

Cons: Difficult to find pick up point.

Pros: Fairly good service for a small rental company. I took time to give you feedback, so I hope you grow and improve your business. Good luck!

Cons: Long waiting times at reception desk.

Pros: Clean new car, everything OK.

Cons: Nothing to report.

Cons: Unclear guidance from booking info that RentSmart24 pick up location is not in same location as bulk of other car rentals.

Pros: Gentleman did not know the car he was renting. I asked if the car had CarPlay and he didn’t know

Pros: They waited for us at a late hour and the car was parked for easy access

Cons: We had to wait to leave the car. The car was not serviced so we ran out of oil in the mountains. Close to an engine break down.

Pros: Everything went ok

Cons: We pickup the car from Pisa Airport and was very difficult to find the place were we were supposed to be picked up to be transferred to the rental office. We paid extra for child car chair but it was very bad, my baby could not stay long in it as it was very uncomfortable (only plastic , no coverage)

Pros: Very efficient and quick service.

Cons: It could have been clearer where the P2 shuttle meeting point is at Pisa Airport.

Pros: Can’t fault them. Good value option. You could pay more for a better cleaned / faster car from hertz etc but really no point. They were good!

Cons: For the money it was great.

Pros: The service was efficient and excellent, shuttle service quick and easy to find. Staff at site very friendly. The inside wasn’t particularly clean but a very good car

Pros: Very efficient

Cons: The car wasn’t cleaned properly and only half tank of fuel!

Pros: 24 hours pick up.Liberal approach.Respect to the client.Top class.

Pros: everything was perfect

Cons: Everything was fine. Could not fault.

Pros: We took the car very fast

Pros: Correctness and quick service.

Pros: Great experience. The car was new and everything went smoothly. I would highly recommend booking through this website.

Pros: Good price

Cons: Car not clean inside and exterior damage. Half full fuel tank on collection.

Cons: Difficult to find. No signage. You wait for a shuttle but where and which one. It is not the same place Avis Budget car rental zone which is clear and easy to find.

Pros: fast and easy.

Cons: no complaints.

Pros: Great price point, simple drop off and collection and really clean car.

Cons: The instructions to get there need some changing - it isn't really clear where you have to go to be collected. This is probably worsened by the fact all the other major rental companies are collected at a one, clearly signposted place.

Cons: That I could check in with my debit card, without getting an announcement that it would require a another cost for it not being a credit card at the pick up. Horrible.

Pros: Everything

Cons: No water or washer fluid in wipers.

Pros: Fast and efficient when got to office

Cons: Was a long time waiting for the pick up bus at Pisa Airport.

Cons: I need to wait for refund od deposit atound 14 days. I should have option to release deposit immediately,

Pros: No hassle with collection or drop off, no hard sell on insurance.

Cons: No information on WHERE the car was or the shuttle bus.

Pros: Once I got to the office they were quick and efficient. No queue.

Cons: There was no sign where to pick up the shuttle bus to the rental office. Instructions on the booking form were not clear.

Pros: Straightforward

Pros: I was able to pick up the car outside of normal business hours

Cons: I was a little anxious arranging pick up at first by telephone when hiring off site at arrivals.

Pros: Nice clean car good price

Cons: Location of the rental desk in Pisa Airport too far from main terminal

Pros: They don’t have many cars there, so almmost no possibility for changes

Cons: No transport was given to or from the airport, we walked

Pros: Easiness

Cons: Upon arrival we went to wrong auto rental Area.May be more clear instructions how and where to go.

Pros: Quick handling, nice car

Cons: No sign at Pisa airport where to mest the shuttle bus. A bit expansive.

Pros: Quick and easy to book and quick drop off

Cons: The location of the bus at Pisa airport is very hard to find, there was no signage. We looked for a very long time.

Pros: How efficient they were. 5 star customer service. So helpful. Ran like a family business.

Cons: Nothing to dislike

Pros: Easy transfer from the airport to Parking go. As i made the check in online - was east to pick up.

Cons: The agent tried to give me a smaller car - with 3 doors instead of 5 doors. But finally give the car what I booked. At the beginning there were no agent at the desk and I wait to finish check in for other persons at the other desk (ONE...)

Cons: Very crowded, agents did not have time to properly explain everything. They were suposed to send us on e mail paper with car condition and all other details. They did not send it in 5 days that we were renting the car. Poloce almost gave us a ticket for that

Pros: The actual car was clean and worked fine.

Cons: I had to pay double the rental cost as I had a visa debit card or a pre paid card and not a credit card! The car I was given was also smaller than I was expecting. The engine size was the same but the boot size was tiny (a Fiat Panda).

Pros: Good car

Cons: Shit service

Pros: Quick and efficient

Cons: Having to return the car 3/4 full was hard as it wasn’t full to start with. I ended up filling the tank more!

Pros: Quick and efficient

Pros: Efficient

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Easy to drive automatic station wagon.

Pros: Great car. Just what we ordered and wanted

Cons: It was meant to be "full to full" but instead we had to return it with 3/4 tank. This is hugely frustrating to "guesstimate" how much petrol to put in and resulted in us having to make a second stop at a petrol station to add more fuel. Totally ridiculous system!!

Pros: Efficient when at the desk.

Cons: Kiosk was not open at the times outlined when booking the car.

Pros: The car was clean and new.

Cons: We did not get the car that we booked, we were given a significantly smaller car and we’re told they could do nothing about it. After we pushed very hard they said if we waited at least an hour for them to deal with all the other customers they would clean another car for us. Waiting this long was not a possibility, and also made no sense because we were their current customers.

Cons: Wasn’t told whst was what in the car, no spare tyres, car was dirty

Pros: The staff when you were at the facility were quick and direct an deasy to work with

Cons: The shuttle bus to collect us took literally an hour to come...we called three times!

Pros: efficiency

Cons: clear contact point by email (both side ie. RentSmart and DiscoverCar)

Pros: Everything was fine

Pros: Collection was very easy. The car was brand new with only 500km. Very clean and ready to go.

Cons: When dropping off the car, there was no one at the desk so had to ask around to find someone. Someone from a another company ended up dealing with the drop off. No haggling or deductions.

Cons: The option of car (fiesta was booked, or alternatives were polo or Skoda… we were given a panda fiat)

Pros: excellent clean new car. easy collection

Cons: finding the shuttle at the airport

Pros: Efficient and friendly service

Cons: I purchased the full cover insurance but didn’t realise that I would still have to have 500 euros blocked on my credit card to pay for any. damage up front and then claim back from a 3rd party company.

Cons: Checked in online 3 days before. Received notice in the terminal going to Pisa, that the card was void. Bank closed, No help From RS24 Noticed I spelled my name wrong, RS24 said it didn’t matter. Suddenly RS24 silenced. No contact. My wife two children and i with No car when We Got to Pisa at 23.30 the 4 th. We ha to check in on a sleazy hotel overnight for 100 euro. Went to RS24 next morning. Booking cancelled. Still No car. Got a car. Was charged From the 4th. Corsa not ready, not full.

Cons: Maybe a bit more explanation about the car.

Pros: Fast easy effecient rental at good prices.

Cons: Pick up area should be signposted as we would have missed the bus if somone else had not pointed it out.
