Cons: Very disappointing experience with this rental company. The vehicle we received did NOT have a spare tire, only an inflation kit, which is completely inadequate in a real roadside situation. We ended up with a puncture on the highway, at night, and were left in a dangerous situation without any proper way to resolve it. The police even attended and can confirm the lack of basic equipment. Because of this, we had to take a taxi, costing €133. However, their partner insurance only reimbursed €50

Cons: I pre checked in online with my credit card, got confirmation of check in and that everything was fine. On arrival to pick up the car I was immediately asked for my credit card and informed that because it only had 4 months left before exp. could not use it. If there was a problem with this card I should have been informed when at pre check in. If there was an issue I should not have been able to pay with this card at the time of purchase and that way I could have brought my other credit card.

Cons: The car was not clean inside or the outside, had a several damages on the body, and was generally quite an old and outdated car.

Cons: They had my flight no, on-line check in however due to a flight delay I arrived late to be told that my booking had been cancelled. I was chargepd an extra 120 euros for lateness which was recorded as supplementary insurance so I can not claim it back on my travel insurance. I was extremely tired and unwell at the time and consequently did not contest this as robustly as I should. But as far as I am concerned is sharp practice and for this reason I would be reluctant to use this company again.

Pros: Old car, dirty, and at the end of the trip, which was 6 days, the light “refil the engine oil” appeared on the dashboard. I stopped at the petrol station and the attendant told me that “the oil need to be changed”. I rented a car for 6 days and I have to change the oil?!?! On top of that, as mentioned, the car wasn’t anywhere near what I booked, as if that is the same class, there’s a bit of looseness on the category limits.

Cons: The first car i got had the gear not working when i wanted to go backward. I then change the car and the second car didnt have any oil, i had to go in a garage in the middle of my roadtrip and pay myself for the service. Rentsmart24 told me that they will send the money back, thing that i still did not see. Both car were very dirty and not in super condition from the outside. no one is checking the vehicule with you so you really have to take pictures when you get the keys.

My wife two children and i with No car when We Got to Pisa at 23.30 the 4 th. We ha to check in on a sleazy hotel overnight for 100 euro. Went to RS24 next morning. Booking cancelled. Still No car. Got a car. Was charged From the 4th. Corsa not ready, not full.
