RentSmart24 at Pisa Airport

Cons: They had my flight no, on-line check in however due to a flight delay I arrived late to be told that my booking had been cancelled. I was chargepd an extra 120 euros for lateness which was recorded as supplementary insurance so I can not claim it back on my travel insurance. I was extremely tired and unwell at the time and consequently did not contest this as robustly as I should. But as far as I am concerned is sharp practice and for this reason I would be reluctant to use this company again.

Pros: Good value for money and good service overall.

Cons: Lack of signage at Pise airport to indicate where to take the shuttle.

Pros: Es war nur Abzocke. Man hat uns erklärt das der gebuchte Wagen nicht mehr verfügbar bar. Wir hatten vergessen die Flugnummer anzugeben. Dadurch war das Auto angeblich nicht verfügbar. Nach kurzen Gesprächen wurde ein Auto gefunden für uns. Mussten 100 euro nach zahlen. Und dann war es doch nur der Kleinwagen der eh gebucht wurde. Abzocke ohne Ende. Nie wieder

Pros: Fast and efficient car pick up and drop off. The process was quick and straightforward, with no unnecessary delays

Cons: The car was not properly serviced and had an engine warning light on the dashboard when it was provided, which was disappointing

Cons: The car had a slow puncture - we got 15 minutes down the road and the tyre pressure went from 40 to 20. I think the car never got checked over before renting. We did take the car back and swapped for another but this made us 1 hour late to our wedding appointment

Pros: Old car, dirty, and at the end of the trip, which was 6 days, the light “refil the engine oil” appeared on the dashboard. I stopped at the petrol station and the attendant told me that “the oil need to be changed”. I rented a car for 6 days and I have to change the oil?!?! On top of that, as mentioned, the car wasn’t anywhere near what I booked, as if that is the same class, there’s a bit of looseness on the category limits.

Cons: I mentioned on the previous comment. They issued me a car that is in need of oil change!!

Cons: The first car i got had the gear not working when i wanted to go backward. I then change the car and the second car didnt have any oil, i had to go in a garage in the middle of my roadtrip and pay myself for the service. Rentsmart24 told me that they will send the money back, thing that i still did not see. Both car were very dirty and not in super condition from the outside. no one is checking the vehicule with you so you really have to take pictures when you get the keys.

My wife two children and i with No car when We Got to Pisa at 23.30 the 4 th. We ha to check in on a sleazy hotel overnight for 100 euro. Went to RS24 next morning. Booking cancelled. Still No car. Got a car. Was charged From the 4th. Corsa not ready, not full.
