They try to sell an extra at the counter, we didn’t get it tho but I’m sure some people will buy it and extra costs are never a good start of the holiday.

Then at pickup they made me pay 512,80 as an ‘extra insurance’ because the people at the desk didn’t know how to use the credit card number on the back of my debit card. The company from which I rented a house didn’t have any problem with this. On the way back to the airport a stone struck the windscreen, which lead to a crack. They charge another 972,-.

ECH an absolute disgrace “found” 2 minor marks on car on return 1-2mm which were so small could have been there on collection. I note there is a significant volume of complaints re this co on various sites.

Also, the deposit should be released within 10 days - easy car needed 30 days to release the deposit.

Cons: - Provided a car seat which had a very old clasp, it had exposed metal and springs and this broke during our trip leaving us without a safe way to transport our toddler. Luckily, the clasp broke completely on the final day of our trip, just before a 150 km trip to the rental office. When we raised it on the check-out, the attendant said that it wasn’t a problem, that it was not an issue and that he just wanted us to agree to pay an extra €20 for a “extra clean of the car”

Cons: 1. The pick-up time was scheduled for 17:00, but we were able to pick up the car at 19:30. The agent said that the system had cancelled the booking and that it would cost €40 to reactivate the booking. 2. The agent said that the prepaid fee on the discovercars website is not included in the booking fee, it is the discovercars commission. It was clear to us that it was an advance on the rental fee. Neither of which was properly communicated on the website during the booking process.

We weren't told where to pick the car up, walking around for over 45mins, not told what to do on our return and wasting time finding someone in the car park.

Cons: Due to my naivety, I thought that 'Discover Cars' was the name of the car hire firm, rather than the website, so we were looking for the wrong sign. After rereading the documentation, we realised that we should be looking for 'Easycarhire' and then all was well. Can this be made clearer on the documentation to avoid considerable stress and confusion? Also, the car hire offices are a somewhat inconvenient distance from the terminal itself, so that was misleading and hard work in rain!

Pros: The girl at the desk was fabulous but on her own and could not have been expected to cope with the many demands. Definitely should have been 2 or 3 serving and a dedicated person to check cars at the end. Poor woman - it was so stressful for her and customers returning cars whose flights wouldn’t wait on them! They were in good time too - the customer that is. Shambles!

Pros: Friendly staff at the airport pickup

Cons: I purchased the extra insurance with Discovercars, but the EasyCar hire agent was adamant that the cover wasn't as good as if I would have got it from them:- The breakdown cover wasn't as comprehensive The Discovercars cover rely on police reports for claiming back deposits, whereas the Police rarely get involved with minor car incidents and so unlikely to provide the necessary documentation I would have needed. The Easycar hire cover would have covered this. Frutsrating and worrying.

Pros: Nothing, it was bad

Cons: 1 customer service agent to 7 customers, took forever to get spoken to, £15 hire became over £300.

Cons: There is no full fuel tank pick up, so it is very difficult to put exactly same amount fuel when you drop back car, so just in case, u put in full. When you drop it back early morning, there is no staff who receive the car back.

Pros: Dropping the car is inconvenient - I had to bring the key to the main office.

Cons: I expected a Skoda Fabia (as promised) but instead got an Opel Corsa that has a much smaller trunk. We could barely fit all our stuff in the car. I asked to give me a slightly bigger car but the agent refused. Also, charging euro 90 for not having an International Driving Permit is an overkill. I'd be fine with 40-50 but 90 is way too much. I've read some companies in Italy don't even ask for it.

Pros: The car was excellent - virtually new, only 1300 miles on the clock

Cons: They tried to sell us extra insurance, despite the fact that we had taken out the full liability in advance. Also, the hire desk is described as being in the terminal. it is in a terminal, but not THE terminal - all the car hire desks at Pisa are in a separate building about half a mile from the main terminal, which is a strenuous walk in hot weather dragging luggage!

Cons: I was forced to pay for extra insurance at Easycarhire which added €290 to the cost. I wrote to discovercars where I already paid for an insurance to get a refund - 10 days after I have not heard anything.

Cons: Employee at desk was absolutely insistent that I take out extra insurance and was not going to let me have the car without it, eventually I d8d get it but it was a struggle. She claimed that my valid comprehensive cover with Discovery cars would not cover me in the event of any incident. I imagine she scams a lot of people into taking out the Easy cover as well . At least you state firmly on the voucher that hirer is covered, though she disputed that completely. Let me upset, angry and shaking

Pros: Price and condition of the cars.

Cons: Only one employee that talked english, so when we delivered the car. It took a very long time.

Pros: They provided us with a clean car. However, we had to pay an additional €200 due to the fact that they refused to allow me to use a credit card and insisted that I take out insurance with them despite me already securing fully comprehensive Insurance with another UK-based broker.

Cons: As above. They wouldn’t release the car unless we paid for their insurance, which resulted in a 50% increase in the overall cost of the hire.

Pros: The vehicle was as ordered and immaculate. The desk was a little hidden in the corner of the terminal and small signage. Staff extremely friendly with no pushy after sales.

Cons: Seemed temp "small A4" signage in carpark where car located. As few staff I was caught upto in car park by fella from desk as I had signed rental as "unchecked" so he had to come out and check car with me. Give him his due though he found a small mark I had missed. Same with return, had to drop key at desk and then walk back to car to check return state. Lady said car was returned better than it went out as she couldn't see the mark her colleague found 😁

Cons: Poor signage in car lot. Concern about losing deposit/reservation if flight delayed and I missed my pick up time.

Pros: Would not recommend Easycar at Pisa Airport unless they change their predatory tactics.

Cons: Agents did all in their powers to frighten customers into accepting extra insurance. I already had own excess insurance but they pressed for me to take their package saying that otherwise I would have to have a police report for any damage whatsoever, no matter how small. Was told car had no marks but there were numerous small marks and some significant scratches on driver’s door. Agent knew of these but didn’t tell us. Took 2hrs to get car!

Cons: The employees were far from helpful and willing to come up with a solution. One of our car reservations was cancelled by the agency without letting us know in advance. So when we arrived to the desk, we only had 1 car instead of 2. After this the agents basically told us that it was not their fault and they didn’t put any extra effort to offer a proper solution. We just had to solve it by ourselves. Additionally we couldn’t rent a car anymore with them because they didn’t have a car left.

Pros: Gentleman was very polite

Cons: The location is advertised as 'in terminal' but in fact it's a 10-minute walk outside

Cons: I didn’t like that easycarhire tried to blame us for marks on the wheel trims that we didn’t do. Thank goodness we had taken photos of the car before driving out of the pick up car park. Our photos showed that the marks were there when we picked it up. They tried to argue the point, but we had the photographic evidence. This took quite a while to sort out which caused me and my husband having to rush through the airport and just getting to the gate in time for boarding. It was very stressful

Cons: Easycarhire is a complete scam! When we picked up the car, they told us that the car had some minor scratches and not to worry about those, but to tell them if there was anything larger. When we dropped off the car, they found two tiny chips on the bumpers at the size of 1x1 mm and told us this was damage we had made to the car. For this they charged us a little over 500 euro... Total scam. with the drive we made, its also highly unlikely this was made by us. Avoid by any means!

Pros: The whole service felt very reliable. The car rental agents were friendly and helpful. The car was in almost new condition and was very reliable for our trip. The drop off went very smoothly, but I have to say that we didn't have any accidents or damage to the car.

Cons: The only thing I would note is that the pick-up takes quite long. It looks like it could go much more efficient.

Cons: - Would have preferred a full to full tank not 3/8 to 3/8 full. - Don't like the inevitable suggestion of buying overpriced insurance. - Directions could have been better. "Turn right out of the airport exit" was not enough. It would have been helpful to have a location pin or at least mention it was 500 metres away.

Cons: That The office was far from airport arrivals! Not expected to travel a shuttle to pick up car and the office. Also that your company doesn't except Debit cards. And other car companies next to your office has a notice that do they except.

Cons: Very poor if non existent signage from Airport to car rental. Had to walk 10 to 15 minutes with heavy case uncertain of our destination. No clear directions from rental kiosk to actual location of hire car. No Easicarhire signage to show where cars were located or clear grid reference on the site to identify C3. Had to walk up and down rows to spot registration number!!! On return unable to find or identify Easicarhire rep because not visible and did not wear Easycarhire uniform.
