Cons: They told at the rental desk - the full coverage insurance which I did online is not good, because the car is their property and only their insurance is valid. Of course, I haven't taken out insurance yet and I handed over the car in perfect condition after 7 days.

Cons: Aggressive upselling for extra insurance. Almost bullying behaviour. I explained I had the extra insurance, he kept saying it was no good. Over and over. I’m 99% sure he also said the car was petrol, when it was diesel. You have to wonder if he said that on purpose so I would damage the car. Car in bad condition, broken air vents, dirty, rattling boot. Overall, very bad. Never again.

Cons: The ecovia agent offered literally no solution to the issue above. We were also early to arrive (by 10-11 hours) which was our fault… but the solutions offered were ridiculous - 731 Euros for a new contract (with cancellation of the old one left between me and Discover). Clearly this wasn’t realistic… (the original deal was more like 300 euros)

Pros: The service was non-existent. The plane into Pisa was delayed by an hour and a half. The car was refused, owing to a legalistic stipulation on your part, whereby the car was cancelled before we could reach the car depot.

Pros: Again very poor, as they said they knew of the problems with discovery’s booking system but seemed quite happy to take 7 times as much money off us to book a replacement car.

Cons: The agent scammed us! Total amount to pay was 215€ and he wanted me to pay 550€. Joke!

Cons: The rental agents forsed to take inshurance by Ecovia for extra charged, eaven we had full insurance made by discovercar...he told us that insurance we had is not good, that we have to take another insurance...and finally he forced we have to call discovercars.com and cancell their insurance and thake what he s offer...very bad and not good experience.

Pros: Vehicle rental was reasonably priced and we had no issues with the car, aside from zero wiper fluid.

Cons: The car had zero wiper fluid, and the address for the dropoff point at Milano Centrale was not written on the agreement, and it turned out to be somewhat difficult to find. Also, the car did not have many modern features that are common to rental cars in north america, but this was ok.

Cons: Won’t use again. Only time we have been pressured into buying their insurance, despite having our own. Very rude about it with us. Car was over the top checked for dents upon collection? And on pick up tried to say we have damaged. They even went straight to a lock to say someone had damaged it. Luckily we ready them upon collection and took lots of pics. We had to prove on drop off the damaged lock was already like that. Clearly trying to scam people out of damage they didn’t do.

Cons: I arrived 30 minutes early at the ECOVIA desk. My rental was processed, when I was presented my contract I queried why the balance was €223.71 vs the €178.97 per my confirmation contract. The agent told me I was being charged for an additional day because I presented at the desk before 12.00. She refused to change my Drop-Off time to 11.30 on 28 Sept. With a queue of people behind me I was forced into paying for an additional day's rental.

Cons: Time to present paperwork and get keys at desk. Ave time was 12 minutes for each customer. One lady on desk had 7 customers when we arrived so over 1 hour to collect keys. Ecovia was the only busy desk in the rental building so please put on more staff.

Cons: The signage to the car rental hall is very poor at Pisa. And a long walk. The shuttle bus to the car rental did not include the Ecovia/ Discover Cars logo so we walked. We spent 1 hour waiting in a queue - by the time we were served the entire car rental hall was empty. The staff gave no consideration or apology to our excessive wait. The directions to find the car(s) was poor because the car(s) were parked in a different car rental area than Ecovia.

Pros: Fairly easy to find the rental office and the agent was efficient. Did not hassle us for additional insurance since we had already purchased full coverage. Now once we did locate the correct drop off building, floor etc the young man assisting was excellent. Very pleasant, and good at his job.

Cons: No instructions about drop off details in Rome when we asked for clarification. He said he did not even know where Rome was. There was an address provided by Discover Cars at time of rental but that only gets you close...We had a very difficult time finding the actual drop off location. The 4th floor in tower B within a maze of towers, buildings and parking lots. Very poor to no signage. Washer fluid empty, had to install a new battery in key fob, maintenance required flashed the entire trip.

Cons: When we got to car hire place, they charged us an extra €65 because we arrived just before 11pm, even though we were well within 59 minutes from our arrival. Then they charged us to have full insurance which cost us another €150.00 on top of the insurance we had paid for. We were at the car hire place for 45 minutes trying to sort out the additional money they made us pay under duress. When we dropped the car off, they didn’t even check the car, even though we said we would go with them.

Pros: Read the conditions carefully! Careful! The low price is valid only if you have a credit card. If you have a debit card (as I had), it forces you to pay full insurance, which significantly increases the price.

Cons: They have this rule for credit card payment. If you don't have a credit card, they forces you to pay full insurance, but they also charge you a guarantee of 500 euros.

Pros: I LIKE NOTHING ABOUT THE "SERVICE." it was absolutely terrible. When the car wouldn't start, the roadside assistance told us to leave the keys on the tire so we didn't miss our train and flight. Ecovia told us if we did this, we'd be charged for abandoning the car. So we had to stay in the hot sun with the car for hours, waiting for roadside assistance, to finally come and tow it away. We did miss our train and had to pay hundreds of dollars for a taxi ride and purchasing new train tickets.

Cons: THE SO-CALLED SERVICE WAS AWFUL. First we had to pay for a tow & new tire. Next day ,the car wouldn't start; the roadside assistance told us to leave the keys on the tire so we didn't miss our train because tow truck took hours. Ecovia said this would be a crime: abandoning the car. So we stayed with car for hours, waiting for roadside assistance, to come and tow it. We did miss our train and had to pay hundreds of dollars for a taxi ride and purchasing new train tickets. DO NOT USE ECOVIA!!

Cons: The representatives were somewhat rude when I asked about what I was signing when they pushed documents in front of me. The reps were talking to each other about it in Italian in a way like I was some type of douche bag for asking about what I was signing.

Cons: All good except for return trip. We did different drop off- Linate- had no idea where the drop off was. Thought it would be at airport. Got quite stressed having to ask where drop off was. Think at Pisa they should have warned me! All worked out in end but I had lot of luggage which I struggled with

Cons: No problems picking up the car or with the car. The problems began when returning the car. Their behaviour is totally fraudulent! No agent at the parking to check the car. I signed contract at their office that everything was ok anyway. Two days later I got an email where they had found a scratch that did NOT exist when I returned the car. They demanded 320 euro. Later I realized they also tricked me with the signature of the contract. Google for more reviews on Trustpilot and you will see!

Pros: It is at a different location from the main car rental, however this was the second time using Ecovia so we went to the correct location.

Pros: On drop off, the service was exceptionally fast. Everyone was friendly and was able to conversate in my native language.

Cons: It's in a different place to all of the other car rental places at Pisa airport so I went the wrong direction first of all. Unless you read the full details you wouldn't know to call a company. Once I got to the office it also took over 45 minutes to queue to get the car. The man serving was very nice but there was one of him and each transaction took 15 minutes and I was 4th in line. Therefore, If I was going again, I would book with someone else.

Pros: Very friendly, easy to speak to the location we rented the car from when our flight was delayed 48 hours and easy to sort extension. Car was excellent and handing it back was easy.
