Cons: Car maker different than booked, car condition (check engine lamp), lack of support on the issue, additional card deposits not listed in the contract, no answers about it from Sicily by car.

They even asked did I filled diesel instead of petrol… I wish I never booked a car from them. I always book Sixt or Europcar and did not had any issues with them.. They even do not reply to emails what is the status with refund. I do not recommend this company

Cons: Everything--their attitude--tried to sell us extra insurance even though we had already purchased from yourselves. We suffered a blowout on the SS1 motorway (sic) and had to pay for a new tyre ourselves otherwise we would not have had a replacement car until the following Monday ( our blowout occured on a Friday evening) ---the police insisted on us using a towtruck which they organised as they would not allow us to remain on the motorway and wait hours for a towtruck from Sicily by Car.

Cons: After signing all the contracts which basically state that you are liable for everything, they only give you the keys and let you find the car in the lot, which was nearly impossible to get to given how close the cars were parked next to each other. I would appreciate a more customer-friendly approach, pulling the car out for us, and making sure that everything is OK with the car with us.

Afterwards the clerk was very helpful. Would like more detail guided description of each return locations (location).

Cons: During the journey on few occasions seat belt alarm would go on and off for no reason. This would last for quite some time. I actually tried to call recovery who advised that since the car was working they could not help and advised me to call the agent. I tried to call the rental place, which was Pisa airport and no one picked up. Afterwards I gave up.

Cons: Physical creditcard is needed. Online card (that normally works and i have done the prepayment with) wont be approved. I have taken the extra insurance for €30 a day day extra to get the car. Quite an expensive extra amount for a “cheap” car. Next to that, they also need a flight ticket home to match the rental date with. We had to book our flight to be able to book a car, which doesn’t make sense. We had a great exploring holiday living day to day. Sicily by car did not make it easy for us.

Pros: Agent was nice, also the guy picking up the car. The car was amazing. But the address on the voucher was of the airport not the rental desk, which was quite annoying and wasting of time to find.

Cons: The car was great, I d suggest to be more clear about insurance coverage, when you say comprehensive I mean really comprehensive. I have sent you an email and you said comprehensive covered only 3000 euros on the car I am driving if I am in fault and when there you told me with 50 euros more full coverage except the roof, the wheels and the windows. There was not much clearity about insurance when I booked online and when I was there. Annoying part also full coverage was not completley full.

He literally grabbed the rental agreement off my hands and when I said “what are you doing” he basically taunted me and wanted to fight! Shocking behaviour, couldn’t believe it. Cons: The representative at the desk told me she didn’t recognise the full cover I had taken out at the time of booking and tried to persuade me to take out Sicily by Car’s additional insurance. When I refused, she was dismissive and negative saying that I would have to pay all costs in the event of a problem and ‘take it up with my broker’. The broker’s cost to cover the excess was £8 per day and Sicily’s was over €20... Apart from this, the car was perfect and the rental price was reasonable.
