Cons: hi Regarding order DC-8958062 1. I did not receive the vehicle I ordered from Mercedes, but another MG vehicle. 2. They charged me 114.62 euros for a fuel tank. 3. They did not agree to give the car until insurance was done through them for 113.76 euros and they did not recognize your insurance with additional drivers. 4. I was held up at the counter for over an hour with arguments so that I had no choice but to pay. Looking forward to reimbursement of both the insurance and the fuel.
Pros: No fuss pick and drop. The agent was a bit too pushy trying to sell me comprehensive insurance when I already had it from Discovercars. Fine experience overall.
Cons: I booked a Ford Kuga but got a Chinese brand car. The apple car play didn’t work and it didn’t have basic features like cruise control.
Pros: Not much - the headline price looks attractive but once you read the fine prints, you find yourself forced into insurance or having to leave a hefty deposit where they don’t accept credit card.

Cons: We were given 3 cars in the end because of problems, none were in good condition all dirty and all had tyre pressure problems. 1 had illegal tyres on that actually caused us to skid. 1 needed an urgent service, according to the onboard computer and the other 2 needed oil changes. Obviously the cars are not looked after in any way.

I have returned the car in the same condition but I have had no confirmation of the return or refund of the fuelling pre-charge. Plug in hybrid but no lead supplied???

Cons: RecordGo was a bad experience. When the car key battery died within a few hours of leaving Malaga airport there was no answer on any phone numbers provided in the rental documentation. We were left with the kids in 30c heat to try and find a key battery and tool to open the key fob. Also the vehicle was handed over to us with substantial damage including a broken brake light and unwashed

Cons: Lack of service being shown to your car with no agent to show you to car or explain controls etc, otherwise speedo issue could have been addressed. When I dropped off the car and explained to the agent about the incorrect speedo, she appeared uninterested.
Pros: It was pretty easy to collect the car and drop it back off at the end of the rental.
Cons: The attitude when I didn't take extra insurance and the fact the car had so much damage all over it and none of it was on the rental agreement and I was told to take pictures and a video which I shouldn't have to do that is their job to note it down. It would also be really nice to collect a car with a clean interior windscreen and not have to clean it yourself to be able to see out of it properly.
Pros: Overall very easy and efficient to book, pickup and drop off. Given the lower cost I find it ok to walk a bit further to their location. I went with the cheapest car that could fit 4 pax and 3 suitcases, got a DJ (China?). A reasonable car but with a very weak engine. It would drop speed going uphill, slow acceleration made it tricky to ramp on highways and overtaking. I would probably spend a little more next time to have a safer, faster accelerating car. You get what you pay for.

Pros: No pussy extra sales with the pick-up. Wrong information on the rental contract (no damages, but there were/wrong number of kilometers), but after sending pictures they totally solved it.

Cons: I had 2 cars as the first one had some technical issues as well and was not hybrid as I booked so I changed it the second day. Both cars had more damages than the ones specified in the contract and you need to make pictures or videos to have proof of the damage. The first car was really dirty, windows were foggy. The second car was a bit better regarding cleanliness but still not good. They have a big fee if they need to clean the cars but you get them already pretty dirty.

Same price but the excess/prepayment for the fuel 116,58€ which they’ll keep if I return the car with empty …

Cons: It was my second rental in RecordGo. I expected quality etc., but again I received car with bad quality and condictions. A lot of scratches, bumps not mentioned in contract. Again I have to send a lot of photos to customer service because staff at the office was unhelpful. They said that I should do it by myself, no one of three would like to go with me to the car. After few km light in signpost dead. No water in sprinkels. The engine with no power etc.

Pros: Very good value for price, easy drop off, car worked, no breakdowns or emergencies, aircon in the car worked, deposits were reimbursed.
Cons: At car pick-up they do not show you the rental contract to check your data, just make you sign it first. They try to convince you to get extra insurance for CDW and extra assistance. The problem is not with offering these services but the person who I met, tried to really plant fear for loosing money and hardly accepted no as an answer.

Cons: At had been smoked in. Also the iaoaewirk showed no damaged, but after we walked a long way to its location, we found that the car had lots of small damage. The lighting in the car park was very bad which made taking pictures difficult without moving the car. When I handed the car back I showed them the photos and said that I would not accept liability for this damage, let’s wait and see if they try and claim for it?

What was meant to be approx £40 for 3 days ended up over £150 nearly 4x the cost.

Cons: The man who took our documents and credit card was saying that, because we didn't take the full insurance something bad will happen. The exact his words was "If you knew the stuff are knew, you will definitely will take the full insurance". They gave us for purpose a car with a lot of damages from previous drivers and told us to take pictures and videos on them. So we did that. Once we return the car they charged 550euros for the damages we didn't do. And now they are not ressponding to fix it.

Pros: Not much. The saving grace of the firm was the team where you collect the cars in the parking garage. They're kind, sensible and problem solvers unlike the demented sales team in the airport.
Cons: Tricky customer service. I rented what was described as a compact SUV. When we went to pick it up they tried to tell us that the catagory included normal cars like Golfs and pointed out catagory codes, that unless you work for RecordGo, mean nothing to a layperson. They also told me my 3rd party insurance wasnt going ti help and used scare mongering sales tactics like the threat of no roadside assistance to upsell. Their customer service and trickiness will put me off booking with them again.

So we didn't have time to read conditions, if there was any damages to the car from before our rental period etc. When we picked up the key I was told to go look for the car "down there" instead of showing us where the car actually was. The car was full of unrecorded damage and the service guy was quite reluctant to put them on record (OK, they did not even inspect it upon drop-off, that is also true). I tried to call them in advance with a question but the number did not even work. Also, the usual hard-selling of excess insurance was performed.
