Cons: Refused to inspect car on drop-off (not enough staff even at 7:30 pm) and even though the rental was incident-free, I am left with no confirmation that my £2k holding deposit is freed up from my credit card?

Cons: The cars were miles away from the initial desk. Then on arrival you had to go to another desk to collect the key. Other car rentals you just go straight to the car and key is in the ignition. You need to read the small print very carefully they charge your credit card £1000!!! Never have I had such a large amount taken from other rental companies! Would NEVER use this company again. What was meant to be approx £40 for 3 days ended up over £150 nearly 4x the cost.

Cons: The man who took our documents and credit card was saying that, because we didn't take the full insurance something bad will happen. The exact his words was "If you knew the stuff are knew, you will definitely will take the full insurance". They gave us for purpose a car with a lot of damages from previous drivers and told us to take pictures and videos on them. So we did that. Once we return the car they charged 550euros for the damages we didn't do. And now they are not ressponding to fix it.

On return no confirm that the car was returned in acceptable condition so I had no evidence that I would not be charged for damage already identified on collection, I should have been given a confirm of return document or something. Refund of the petrol costs I paid in advance took several days

I emailed you regarding the scratches and attached photos and received a quick response advising me to email Record Go. I did this immediately but never received a response so for the whole duration of the holiday so I was nervous i would not get my £1400 deposit back. The car itself (a FIAT) was a horrible car to drive

Pros: Not much. The saving grace of the firm was the team where you collect the cars in the parking garage. They're kind, sensible and problem solvers unlike the demented sales team in the airport.
Cons: Tricky customer service. I rented what was described as a compact SUV. When we went to pick it up they tried to tell us that the catagory included normal cars like Golfs and pointed out catagory codes, that unless you work for RecordGo, mean nothing to a layperson. They also told me my 3rd party insurance wasnt going ti help and used scare mongering sales tactics like the threat of no roadside assistance to upsell. Their customer service and trickiness will put me off booking with them again.

Cons: We shall got a Fiat 500X and we got 'DR' which is Chinese brand - car wasn't great - on the motorways was struggling with hills and speed of 120km. We could connect ApplePay or Bluetooth.
Cons: The start. There was a big queue. When it was finally our turn the employe told us we had to hurry up because they were going to close up. So we didn't have time to read conditions, if there was any damages to the car from before our rental period etc. When we picked up the key I was told to go look for the car "down there" instead of showing us where the car actually was. The car was dirty inside. Sand, dust and overall jot clean. The outside was also dirty and dusty.

Cons: On the pickup they charged two deposits. One mentioned before (1100 € - that;s OK) and the other for petrol in case you didn't leave it full. Like they couldn't use the money from 1100 €? And they told us that on pickup. That wasn't fair. Also they requested to pay with the same card as deposit was lest. That is unfair too and others don't do that.

There was no one to speak to out of the terminal with any issues (scratches) already on the car. The drop off no one was willing to check the car over to show there was no new scratches. The fuel needed to be checked on return to get my huge (E85) deposit back, again no one around.

Cons: Difficult to find the location in an underground parking. The car was full of unrecorded damage and the service guy was quite reluctant to put them on record (OK, they did not even inspect it upon drop-off, that is also true). I tried to call them in advance with a question but the number did not even work. Also, the usual hard-selling of excess insurance was performed.
Cons: Collection time was absolutely ridiculous over an hour at the desk and that didn’t even include the long walk to collect and the short time spent collecting the keys. From arrival at reception to leaving the car park was well over 1.5 hours. They also tried to give me a Manual car when an auto was ordered saying they didn’t have one, until I refused then one appeared.

Cons: Took 1.5 hours to collect the car due to inefficient systems and staff. Having signed for a damage free car with full tank of fuel ahead of collecting the keys, only to find the car was damaged, had half a tank of fuel, no spare wheel or inflation kit and the low tyre pressure warning light was on - later found to be a puncture that was repaired at my cost. Having contacted their customer relations department have received no reply 10 gays later. Bad customer service and poor car preparation.

Cons: Pick up was a (excuse the pun) car crash. No staff at record-go. Systems didn’t work and staff didn’t seemed to infer this was normal. When picked up the keys I was just pointed to the car, no orientation or pointers on how to change the car computers to English. There was a vague instruction to fill the tank within 10km of the airport and present a receipt for fuel (they didn’t look at it when I returned the car). Overall really poor pick up experience.

I waited for an hour and a half before they actually had 3 people appear at the desk. The car was damaged all over, I may as well have coloured in the damage sheet before I drove away. I’m fact we took a video of the whole car as it was covered in damage. The attempts to sell me insurance were shocking and an attempt to steal from unwary customers.

When we offered an amex credit card (not charge card) it was refused thus forcing us into purchasing over priced insurance even though we already had enough insurance and offering other cards in the family name. They also charged 40 euros for a late pick up at 4mins past 11pm the late service start. Seemed like a lot of money making excuses and not much customer service.

As I have no idea what these costs are for I regard these transactions as FRAUDULENT.
