Pros: The car was almost new, clean and in good condition.

Cons: RecordGo managed to refund me the charge for petrol (£92) on the day I dropped the car off, having returned it full, but the credit disappeared the day after! They have not managed to return the £1,212 for the damage excess (I have my own annual insurance). even though there is no damage to the car.

Pros: My experience renting a car at Malaga airport from Record Go was very good. The Toyota Aygo is brand new, the rental price-quality ratio is very good. No additional insurance was required (I had my own), the car pick-up and return were quick and clear, the deposit for the car and fuel was returned smoothly and quickly. I highly recommend it.

Pros: We had a terrible experience with this car. On the day were we’re leaving for airport. The battery was flat. We called road side assistance, who arrived in 45 minutes later. He said the battery negative earth was loose. He fixed this. We had to drive in hurry to airport. When we slowed down to pay the toll, the car lost all power. The car did eventually start again. We were so late we had no time to refuel., so may incur charge for this

Pros: The pick up uses a number allocation service so that you're not standing in a queue. The car is at the terminal so easy to pick up. The agent seemed friendly without feeling rushed.

It remains to be seen how quickly my 1200 euros are refunded but up to 30 days seems too long. WE waited about 20 mins to be called, which is always a bit annoying when you have a long journey ahead of you.

We requested a European make of car instead and were told we had no choice. We were given the keys and when we located the car in the large airport parking building it was much bigger than we had ordered. We chose a compact car eg a Fiat 500X or similar. However we were given a DR DR4 1.5 This also added to petrol costs.

They did not agree to give the car until insurance was done through them for 113.76 euros and they did not recognize your insurance with additional drivers. 4. I was held up at the counter for over an hour with arguments so that I had no choice but to pay. Looking forward to reimbursement of both the insurance and the fuel.

We were left with the kids in 30c heat to try and find a key battery and tool to open the key fob. Cons: Lack of service being shown to your car with no agent to show you to car or explain controls etc, otherwise speedo issue could have been addressed. When I dropped off the car and explained to the agent about the incorrect speedo, she appeared uninterested.

Cons: The attitude when I didn't take extra insurance and the fact the car had so much damage all over it and none of it was on the rental agreement and I was told to take pictures and a video which I shouldn't have to do that is their job to note it down. It would also be really nice to collect a car with a clean interior windscreen and not have to clean it yourself to be able to see out of it properly.

Pros: Overall very easy and efficient to book, pickup and drop off. Given the lower cost I find it ok to walk a bit further to their location. I went with the cheapest car that could fit 4 pax and 3 suitcases, got a DJ (China?). A reasonable car but with a very weak engine. It would drop speed going uphill, slow acceleration made it tricky to ramp on highways and overtaking. I would probably spend a little more next time to have a safer, faster accelerating car. You get what you pay for.

Cons: I had 2 cars as the first one had some technical issues as well and was not hybrid as I booked so I changed it the second day. Both cars had more damages than the ones specified in the contract and you need to make pictures or videos to have proof of the damage. The first car was really dirty, windows were foggy. The second car was a bit better regarding cleanliness but still not good. They have a big fee if they need to clean the cars but you get them already pretty dirty.
