Ok Mobility at Malaga Airport

Pros: Good cars.

Cons: Although we had booked the full insurance on Discovery Cars, the Agent disputed the validity of the service with OK mobility, putting pressure on me to buy additional services. It was difficult to explain it, even when the manager came along as well. It would be good to improve this communication and create more clarity. Car rental in Malaga is always a stressfum experience and these unclarities create unnecessary stress.

Cons: We waited for an hour and a half to speak to someone as fastpass people were in front of us. Eventually the lady organising our rental said we had to pay an extra €222 as we don’t own a credit card which we couldn’t afford, so we had to walk away without a car and wasted £120. Scam. Also she kept rolling her eyes and was generally incredibly unpleasant.

Cons: No Amex or US Debit/Credit cards accepted. The BMW X1 model reserved was not available.

Pros: Pick up was very poor and needs attention in a number of areas 1. We weren’t looking for Discovery Cars rather than OK Mobility, it needs to be made clearer that the pick up desk is OK Mobility 2. It took 1.5 hours to collect our car, dreadful.

Og da vi nåede frem til opholdsstedet var det slut med sprinklervæske. Heldigvis var der tankstation i nærheden, hvor jeg kunne købe en dunk med sprinklervæske. Servicemedarbejderne har tilsyneladende haft for travlt. Det må bare ikke ske, at beholderne ikke er fyldt op!

Pros: Practically a brand new car, right size, fuel efficient. After a bit of wait, the actual pick up was straightforward. The dropp-off was quick, the drop-off location was easy to find.

Cons: The car was poorly maintained and dangerous to drive. No coolant in the engine meant we had to spend EUR 40 to buy this. The inside windows were so dirty we could not drive the car at night. We had to purchase cleaner and do the cleaning ourselves. We arrived late in the evening and had a long drive in the dark, so this was a very bad situation. We were not offered a refund for buying these things.

Cons: It is very difficult to find the deak to retrieve the car. The Lift doesn’t work, you have to walk until -2 floor without clear instructions and risking yourself to walk in between cars. At the drop, prepare for a frowned face person who will like fight like a kid that the last drop of the fuel is not matching. We pick the car at same number and delivered back hut the guy at drop off, cried like a kid to charge us 9 euros for the furl + 19 as penalty which almost a tank full for them.

Cons: When I arrived at the desk and got my ticket I had to wait over two hours to see an agent and that was only because I went up to complain about the extraordinary long wait as they had been selling fast track for €40 and using every desk to service the fast track instead of just one desk. When I eventually got to start the process of getting my can the man at the desk said it wasn't his problem and there was nothing he could do about the wait. When we dropped the car off it was just as bad.

If you had a booking You had to collect a ticket from their machine which gave you a number in the queue to be able to get your keys. They also had a fast track ticket system that cost €40 to buy. I stood waiting over 45 minutes to get my turn to collect my keys but was nowhere near my number. I had to pay the€40 to get a fast track and get my keys. Not such a good deal anymore 😟

Cons: What a total scam! I drove less than 500 km and they claimed I had 3 separate damages to the car. All of them tiny tiny, well you couldn't even call it scratches, that was already there when I got the car. Car had more than 30.000 km on it.

We were very shocked about having to pay £15 fast track. A bit of a scam. We have never seen anything like this from any other car hire before. It has put us off hiring from you again.

I left the car with the agent and no damage was noted, but later discovered they charged excess for ‘damage to the car’, which was already there. Luckily, when we picked up the car we noticed marks to the car and took photos, but thought it was no big deal. I have excess insurance, but have to spend time to reclaim the excess. BAD ENDING.

An elderly person sighted in front of her, and she started yelling at him, having no respect at him being elderly, calling security on him and refusing to give him a car. The elderly person was highly apologetic, but she wouldn't stop yelling at him. I saw everything, and I also saw how she was ride to previous customers too.

Cons: The location of the car was very dark so difficult to check the vehicle for damages etc , but when you return the vehicle the spaces for returns are flood lit , it seems as though they are trying to catch you out , the same lighting should be available for collections and drop offs to protect the customer.... The upsell of breakdown cover and car upgrades was a little unfair , the fact you are told that if you breakdown in the car you are renting for a few days you are fully responsible!

Cons: The rental car did not charge while driving in hybrid mode. You cannot charge the car anywhere using foreign bank or credit cards. Dutch cards do not work. On the highway you can also not pay the toll using a card.

Cons: They charge for fuel regardless of how much you use. But the rental agreement says full to full. At the time as you want to leave with the car you don’t query it. They shouldn’t do this or better explain the options.

Cons: Customers should be aware that when getting full cover for the car does not mean you have full cover as I’m covered by a third-party, not the company directly so they try to sell you their insurance, just in case anything happens and take a huge deposit, the company wanted an extra €500 for there insurance cover which isn’t right. Cons: Was told a pickup to take pictures of any damage to the vehicle. In an underground garage we missed one scratch on the side of the car, although taking a picture of it later in daylight, was initially told that there was no proof that it was there before pickup. All the paperwork was emailed to me, no signal in the basement, received it later, not showing this particular damage. Fortunately it obliquely shows in one of the other photos and they let me go.

Applied fine was unjustifiable. the operator had been aware of scratch on the car as he went to direct point of scratch without checking the whole car for possible damage and the scratch was found in a dark place of the garage with using light of a phone pointing directly to the scratch. So he was aware of the fact before I rented the car.

Cons: 1. Extremely money minded 2. Asked multiple times to book full insurance for 222 Euros where I already had the full insurance

Pros: The ok team we’re very efficient.

Cons: The small print wouldn’t allow me to put my deposit on a separate credit card. My card didn’t have enough credit. I was then charged another £300. If I had known this I wouldn’t have paid the extra insurance through discover cars. This should have been mentioned before the rental

Pros: Nothing / took more than an hour to pick up car and only 1 person in front of us.

Cons: Super rude when he found out we weren’t interested in buying additional insurance

Cons: Having to pay insurance twice we paid for insurance with discover cars, and then had to pay again with Ok cars. Probably should have read the fine print but still.

Cons: Almost everything. You were extremly understuffed and even though the lady was very nice it took ages. There was lot of angry people around. Everyone pissed. It was a very unpleasent moment. Also finding the rental office took me about 30 minutes. Running around the airport with huge suitcase tired after the flight I expected much more from the rental.

Cons: A huge insurance upsell when I showed up at the counter, twice as costly than the whole rental price. Nasty, if you come with lots of luggage and have to accept it after a long shuttle ride. It was unclear where the shuttle pickup was.

Cons: There was no shuttle to the airport when we returned the car. We returned the car 11 days earlier than planned because of coronavirus alert, but we did not receive a refund.

Cons: Not clear where to go to meet shuttle bus - no sign at the stop and no way to contact the office to confirm the bus was on its way

Cons: Long wait at reception desk , just when you thought you were near the front someone would buy the speedy ticket and jump the queue . We waited over an hour just to be at front of queue . They then tried to get me to hire a more expensive car and extra insurance . I informed them that I had taken out extra cover with Discover but they said that it was no good and I would never get my money back if there was an incident . When I returned the car they tried to blame me for a tiny mark on the car .

Pros: Dropping at Seville was perfect. The agent was professional.

Cons: The agent at pickup at Malaga rental desk charged me the full premium cover (159 euro for my rental period) because, according to him, I do not have an international license while it is not necessary in my case. Anyway, a claim was sent to OK rentacar and to Discovercarhire customer services.

I had m two year old with me and I waited an hour or more (even after pre booking a pick up time & pressing the speedy option when I arrived - was willing to pay more to get out quickly) Finally got to the desk, had to pay more insurance as I only had a debit card and they wouldn’t accept my husbands credit card. Once I got the car they gave me didn’t properly unlock/lock. They spent 10 mins looking for spare key fob. No luck - removed my child & car seat..

Cons: (Continued) The second car they issued wasn’t cleaned (I didn’t care the outside was mud splotted but the old water bottles inside were unwelcome) After securing my child in the car seat once more, I complained but wasn’t waiting around for any more cars. They didn’t offer any compensation for the hour and a half of my time wasted. should have been easy as I was exchanging a previous rental from them at the same time as collecting this one. I lost a item my first car but it wasn’t found...

Pros: Very friendly staff. We will be using ok again definitely. No problems only waiting to collect the car could have been faster.
