Cons: Accused of not supplying accurate photos of condition of car, advised will have to pay for extra cover on future rentals

Pros: Disgusting rip off situation relating to card payments, even though my card matched my initials and surname they insisted I couldn’t take the car unless I paid an additional €160+ !!! Same was happening to multiple customers.

Cons: Rude, arrogant and disrespectful

Cons: When we arrived we got told we could only take the car out if we paid an extra 140 euros for their insurance. The credit card I had just got for this trip was named with two initials and my surname. I had driving license and lots of full names documents but this wasn’t good enough. Highly frustrating.

Pros: Car was fine, some collision damage but nothing extensive. Price was good.

Cons: It took about 1 and a half hours to collect the car from finding the shuttle bus location (not at all obvious) and the various queues. They required you to take photos of existing damage and you then had to show photos to drop off staff to show it wasn't your fault. So if you miss photoing a scratch you're going to get billed for it.

Cons: The location of the car rental was quite hidden, mainly were able to find it to return the car because we had been driven there by the shuttle

Cons: Cheaters and crooks, shocking experience. They made up a rule (yeah it’s in the t&c small print but seriously) that the credit card - which they were happy to charge initially at the time of booking - must have full name and surname. In case you don’t know a lot of UK cards don’t (initial+surname only). In such case they refuse to accept the card at the desk and force you to pay them €180, otherwise they leave you with nothing. Avoid (or at least check your card).

Pros: Very quick and frequent drop off and pick up from the airport. No queues to collect the car.

Cons: The car had scuffs, dents and scratches which weren't documented on the paperwork given upon collection. I wasn't advised to record anything but when I queried this, one of the staff strongly recommended taking many pictures and a video of the car. I'm glad I did because upon return they wanted to see my video as proof of the state of the car on pick-up. I guess I would have had charges I hadn't recorded my evidence but I feel this should have been advised at the check-in desk.

International driving permit (even if non existent or not required in the country) no can do - all solved for a payment of 200 euros - always broker blamed

Cons: We are utterly disgusted with our experience. We were given a car that had a warning sign saying that the car needed an oil change. We googled both manufacturer & AI the urgency of this warning. Both stated that the car should NOT be driven, as unsafe and could damage the car if driven. We contacted delpaso (juan) and would not offer any help. He wouldn't let us get the oil changed locally, solutions. Eventually said they would send a new car and after threatened a €340 additional cost.

Pros: Delpaso forced me to buy insurance, claiming that they could not use my Visa credit card (issued by Chase in the USA) to place a hold for damage because it did not have a PIN code. Credit cards in the USA are not issued with PIN codes but I have never encountered that issue before when renting in Europe (or anywhere else) and it tripled the cost of my rental. I do not recommend using Delpaso.

Pros: We did not receive protokol with damages on car. We took photos of car. Drop of was ok. No problem.

Cons: So, I got to the counter and the girl assisting me was friendly and quick. The one thing I didn’t like is that they have a racket when it comes to car insurance as I tried to denied and she told me that they needed a deposit of 1,600 euros to what I agreed. However, she then said that my card needed to have a pin number to which I replied that most Americans credit card don’t have that. Then she used my card to charge me for their insurance without using “pin,” thus the above statement!!!

Delpaso's scam is threefold. 1) If you only have initials, they won't block your card for deposit. 2) They insist you need a International drivers license: you don't. 3) if you get past 1 and 2. They attempt to find faults with car on return to take cash. More seriously the car had not been checked and was not road worthy. ruined wipers, and under-inflated tyres by nearly 50%.

I booked a Nissan Qashqai (or similar) but I got a VW Caddy (7 seater - we were only 2) even when there were a few Nissan Qashqai's in the parking lot. I choosed the Nissan because of the trunk space. The VW Caddy had almost no trunk space, so our luggage was in plain view on the back seat. The fuel consumption was a lot higher than expected (due to its dimensions) The outside of the car was not realy clean. Technically, the car was OK

By picking the car, they don t come with you, and you have to do photo and video. By dropping the car , they are her and looks after everything. Even if it is insignificant and almost undetectable for ordinary persons. So they make their publicity by sending the prices and get the money with this insurance. No more Delpasso

Pros: I forgot my physical credit card. They offered me that if I buy their all-risk coverage for 140 EUR per week, they would still rent me the car. Also, drop-off at 4am was possible and for free.

Cons: They do not accept debit cards (which was pointed out by discover cars) nor virtual credit card (I could tell them the numbers from my internet banking or use Apple Pay with a credit card). Nowadays, I consider it to be quite old and outdated behaviour. Also, it was hard to find the shuttle bus at the airport. There was a guy, which was nice, but his english was really poor. The rental guy at the counter later on spoke fluently, so it was good... Just the transfer from the airport was weird.

Cons: The representatives organizing the shuttle service checked us in, then decided to give our sport to a different couple. We informed them that we were there first, but the guy denies that and said I don’t remember. We informed them, and they said wait for 5 minutes the next shuttle is arriving soon. We explained that we have been waiting since tbe earlier shuttle left and that we have been waiting for over 20 minutes already. When we insisted, the driver said fine and took us to the office.

Pros: Very poor. The car was filthy and in poor condition. The windscreen wipers were completely worn out which left 2 huge swathes of windscreen smeared when I used them to clean it. Every panel was dented or chipped and scratched. The windscreen had a 45cm crack which I was assured was still legal to use. When I asked for a replacement, I was only offered an unsuitable smaller car as there were 5 passengers and everyone was trying to go home as it was 2300hrs

Cons: When I was getting the car and opted not to take extra insurance I changed my mind and took the extra insurance but they then took my key and changed the car, when I asked why the car had been changed they said it was an upgrade. This was not true and the car I got was very high miles and quite old, my thoughts are I got an older car due to me taking the extra insurance or why else would they change the car when I had already been given keys until I agreed to the insurance

Cons: The agent refused my credit card that I have used tons of times before stating that it’s a debit one. I showed him that it’s written credit card and asked for a supervisor but without luck. They asked to pay for the premium insurance which was another 250 euros so I can pay with a different card. The trick here is that they most likely have targets for these premium inssurances or even incentives and leverage the fact that the car pick up office is outside of the airport.

Pros: The customer service is great, with minimal queue.

Cons: I have an old Fiat Tipo with 1.3 manual 6th gears as a car. This car has no car play and I have spent my vacation using a phone holder and cable. Navigating a new place using a map on the phone's screen is not what I expect from a rental car. the conditioner was manual. And sometimes it was barely enough. The rental price was not cheap. It was the same price as other companies have. So do not choose a middle-size car when you rent here. Small-size and suvs were relatively new and ok.

Cons: I was asked for an International Driving Permit when picking up the car. When I said I didn't have one, I was forced to pay for insurance I didn't need. $200 for 10 days for a car that was already scratched up. No where in the paperwork does it state if you don't have an I.D.P that you will be charged for this. The agent tried to argue that it does but it clearly does not. I also could have purchased the same insurance for $7 day rather than $20. So I overpaid for a crappy car. Long story short.

Cons: They refuse to provide you with a list of previous damages and when asked for it they tell you it is your responsibility, upon return of the car, to prove the damage was pre-existing. I was asked to prove that two dents were pre-existing, I ended my phone for him to watch the video I took upon pick up. He got bored watching it and said, fine, you can go. This practice shows how much they can not be trusted, so be carefull and take picture and video of the car. Don't forget the hub caps !

Cons: The agreed price was £118. They told me because the name on my credit card (which was my initials) wasn’t identical to my drivers license (which is my full name) I had to get a more expensive option which cost me £200, £82 more then agreed. Disgusting and I will make sure I tell absolutely everybody to avoid at all costs.
