Delpaso's scam is threefold. 1) If you only have initials, they won't block your card for deposit. 2) They insist you need a International drivers license: you don't. 3) if you get past 1 and 2. They attempt to find faults with car on return to take cash. More seriously the car had not been checked and was not road worthy. ruined wipers, and under-inflated tyres by nearly 50%.

I booked a Nissan Qashqai (or similar) but I got a VW Caddy (7 seater - we were only 2) even when there were a few Nissan Qashqai's in the parking lot. I choosed the Nissan because of the trunk space. The VW Caddy had almost no trunk space, so our luggage was in plain view on the back seat. The fuel consumption was a lot higher than expected (due to its dimensions) The outside of the car was not realy clean. Technically, the car was OK

By picking the car, they don t come with you, and you have to do photo and video. By dropping the car , they are her and looks after everything. Even if it is insignificant and almost undetectable for ordinary persons. So they make their publicity by sending the prices and get the money with this insurance. No more Delpasso

Pros: I forgot my physical credit card. They offered me that if I buy their all-risk coverage for 140 EUR per week, they would still rent me the car. Also, drop-off at 4am was possible and for free.

Cons: They do not accept debit cards (which was pointed out by discover cars) nor virtual credit card (I could tell them the numbers from my internet banking or use Apple Pay with a credit card). Nowadays, I consider it to be quite old and outdated behaviour. Also, it was hard to find the shuttle bus at the airport. There was a guy, which was nice, but his english was really poor. The rental guy at the counter later on spoke fluently, so it was good... Just the transfer from the airport was weird.

Cons: The representatives organizing the shuttle service checked us in, then decided to give our sport to a different couple. We informed them that we were there first, but the guy denies that and said I don’t remember. We informed them, and they said wait for 5 minutes the next shuttle is arriving soon. We explained that we have been waiting since tbe earlier shuttle left and that we have been waiting for over 20 minutes already. When we insisted, the driver said fine and took us to the office.

Pros: Very poor. The car was filthy and in poor condition. The windscreen wipers were completely worn out which left 2 huge swathes of windscreen smeared when I used them to clean it. Every panel was dented or chipped and scratched. The windscreen had a 45cm crack which I was assured was still legal to use. When I asked for a replacement, I was only offered an unsuitable smaller car as there were 5 passengers and everyone was trying to go home as it was 2300hrs

Cons: When I was getting the car and opted not to take extra insurance I changed my mind and took the extra insurance but they then took my key and changed the car, when I asked why the car had been changed they said it was an upgrade. This was not true and the car I got was very high miles and quite old, my thoughts are I got an older car due to me taking the extra insurance or why else would they change the car when I had already been given keys until I agreed to the insurance

Cons: The agent refused my credit card that I have used tons of times before stating that it’s a debit one. I showed him that it’s written credit card and asked for a supervisor but without luck. They asked to pay for the premium insurance which was another 250 euros so I can pay with a different card. The trick here is that they most likely have targets for these premium inssurances or even incentives and leverage the fact that the car pick up office is outside of the airport.

Cons: I have an old Fiat Tipo with 1.3 manual 6th gears as a car. This car has no car play and I have spent my vacation using a phone holder and cable. Navigating a new place using a map on the phone's screen is not what I expect from a rental car. the conditioner was manual. And sometimes it was barely enough. The rental price was not cheap. It was the same price as other companies have. So do not choose a middle-size car when you rent here. Small-size and suvs were relatively new and ok.

When I said I didn't have one, I was forced to pay for insurance I didn't need. $200 for 10 days for a car that was already scratched up. No where in the paperwork does it state if you don't have an I.D.P that you will be charged for this. The agent tried to argue that it does but it clearly does not. I also could have purchased the same insurance for $7 day rather than $20. So I overpaid for a crappy car. Long story short.

Cons: They refuse to provide you with a list of previous damages and when asked for it they tell you it is your responsibility, upon return of the car, to prove the damage was pre-existing. I was asked to prove that two dents were pre-existing, I ended my phone for him to watch the video I took upon pick up. He got bored watching it and said, fine, you can go. This practice shows how much they can not be trusted, so be carefull and take picture and video of the car. Don't forget the hub caps !

They told me because the name on my credit card (which was my initials) wasn’t identical to my drivers license (which is my full name) I had to get a more expensive option which cost me £200, £82 more then agreed. Disgusting and I will make sure I tell absolutely everybody to avoid at all costs.

Cons: They managed to find some scratches on the wing mirror and missing rear wiper rubber that I hadn't managed to get photos of on collection. They decided to waive the mirror damage then decided not to because we threatened to complain about the wiper. Eventually relented again so we left 30 euros poorer for damage that was already there. Do NOT use Delpaso if you want a trouble free holiday.

Cons: Having to take photos of every mark/damage on the car, this should be recorded by DelPaso in advance. Then I was almost accused of causing a very small scratch when I didn't have the photo but thankfully I had taken it. For this reason I won't use DelPaso again. Also long queue of customers waiting to be taken to the airport after drop-off, we almost missed our flight as waited over 30 minutes.

Cons: It's a scam. Don't go. I took the DiscoverCars 37€ insurance but they obliged me to take their insurance 115€. They pretext I need a credit and not a debit card for the deposit. I traveled a lot this is first time I had this problem. And in France we only have debit card that we are calling credit card .

Pros: Nothing, I don't think Del Paso cares about guest satisfaction and service. The staff member was rude and aggressive. I understand they implement company policies, and may not have a say on the matter. But there are ways to do it, after all, they know they are riping people off even if they are not responsible.

Cons: DelPaso knows they don't recognise the insurance provided by discovercar: they asked to read the contract from our mobile and knew exactlly what they were looking for in the small print. They keep attracting customers via third parties and then rip them off.

Pros: There was shutle bus to and from the airport.

Cons: It was hard to find where we can take the car and there was undercurrent cost of 180 euros for the car that was not mentioned anything about it before.

Pros: The car was in a good condition, only one dent in the back. They did not push us to take out further insurance as long as I allowed them to out a block of €1500 on my credit card. This was never taken thankfully. I took my own far cheaper excess policy out just incase, but no incidents and the at was returned smoothly without extra cost.

Cons: Delpaso Car hire do not inspect the car at the point of pick up and this is how they fool new customers into paying repair damages. I wasn't told to what extent i should take photo evidence when picking the car or what their procedure is when assessing at the point of return. I took what i thought was reasonable photos as am not an expert in identifying car dents therefore i would have thought the inspection should have been done with Delpaso and check upon the faults identified by both parties

Cons: I had to wait almost an hour to finalise the paperwork and handed me the key asking me to find the car among hundreds of cars in the huge parking lot. I went back to the desk twice as I could not find the car. It was around 9 pm and dark. I couldn't read all the parked cars registration numbers after a long day traveling. The cars are not parked in numbered parking spaces. The t time a young girl took the keys and brought the car from the end of the car park. Because I didn't pay full insurance

Cons: They are not in the airport - quite hard to find and takes a while to get there by shuttle. Also when dropping the car, long queue and couldn't get in the first 3 shuttles. Awful baby seat - used and very hard to adjust. Car quite used/abused, USB connector not working, a pitty we couldn't use the navigation via USB cable.

Cons: 1. lack of common inspection and burden of proof is with client alone 2. car comes wet, hence taking good pictures is impaired, but crucial for return process.

Cons: They charged us the extra insurance as a fee in order to allow us changing the main driver. Additionally, at the end of rent the Personnel was not helping or gentle in the pick-up.

Pros: The car was fine. I had to buy their full cover and that was a blessing since the car they rented me had plenty of dings when I obtained it. I’d hate to have been accused of making those. We made zero damage but would that have mattered? I’m not sure.

There were a lot, and upon bringing back the car the lady immediately pointed out a minor scratch on the rear window viewer, which of course was the one we did not take a picture off. 98 euro of damage that we immediately got back from Discovery through the full insurance service. But a clear scam by Delpaso : I assume they try to play the same game with this car with everyone.

Cons: Warning! They were extremely rude. They were trying to make me pay for the damage on the car which was not caused by me. I proved them wrong by showing the video which I took when I rented a car. After this I told other customers who were coming to pick up cars to make sure they take video so this will not happen to them. After this the agents told me I am not allowed to take their shuttle bus to the airport because I told this to the other customers. They said I must take a taxi!

Cons: It cost way more than I expected. I was hit with a few of hundreds of euros for not having an “international drivers license”. I have NEVER needed this when renting a car in Europe. A total scam. The surprise fees and costs were ridiculous. The car cost four times more than the price quoted online. The rental location was not in the airport. The shuttle bus was not easy to find. some of the people working there did not seem to care very much. The car needed washer fluid, wasn’t fully cleaned.

At delivery, the representative didn't try to "find" any non-existent damages since I had not bought the full insurance from them (I had been a bit worried about it). Cons: The condition of the car was not "up to the mark". Even though the km reading was just about 57000 kms, the car felt very worn out and quite difficult to drive. I've been driving manual cars for about 30 years, this one was one of the hardest. The cluck was misaligned or totally worn out. The 1st gear would engage almost at full release of the clutch. This made it quite hard to control the vehicle at the signal stops and starting up on slopes. There were many cosmetic damages to the vehicle body

Cons: They operate an insurance policy that verges on systematic fraud. Having lured u with the cheap rental, they tried to sell a 100 euro insurance policy for 4 day booking. I declined, and they sharply told me to check very carefully for scratches as the £30 policy doesn't cover them. They made zero effort to look at the car and agree on scratches. I photographed but missed a scuff on the wing mirror. Result 98E charge. I'm convinced the scuff wasn't a new one and has been there for ages. Crooks!
