Cons: As for the car, everything was fine, but when I was paying by card in Malaga, I mistakenly selected the payment in Czech crowns, and only later I determined that the conversion rate was 12% higher than what my bank normally gives, which I think is very unfair, perhaps even fraudulent behavior. In addition, the lady behind the counter acted very measuredly.

Pros: When picking up the car, had a "hard sell" re extra insurance cover, which differed from the online application.
Pros: They appeared honest but were very quick to blame the broker for not pointing out that I had to land and collect the car on the same day and therefore my needing to spend a further £150 with them.

Charged excess for picking up late and dropping back early morning (even though this should have been covered). Told no breakdown cover. Would never use again.

Pros: The agent was great explaining the problem in which discovercars convinced me to get full coverage but that would not give me fullcoverage with delpaso. They gave me a better car than I ordered.
Cons: Agent was not where instructed, so I spent 20 mins looking. I ended up calling an international number, so the agent picked it up and explained where he was, which was by the rentals shuttle bus stop and not where stated in the email. After dropping off the car, I had to more than 30 mins for delpaso to take me to the airport, too many people waiting and a very small shuttle made me miss several rides, I would have lost my plane if I was short of time.

You could suggest some different day trips and 2 - 5 day tours with simple PDF maps to download, including insider tipps where to eat or prices and opening hours of some attractions. Also you could suggest two different options such as "fastes route" and "most beautiful route". Also you could rent additional eqquipmemt like phone holders, charging cables, cooling boxes and GPS for tourists without EU SIM Cards.

We did not take the extra insurance. Also: we were obligated to take videos and photos of the car damages and ahd to show those when returning the car. They should have some level of marking of the car damages and not to put all responsibility to the customers.

I insisted to see the car first, which was full of dents and scratches.

He tossed the booking voucher on the table and said you can take it up with discover cars but unless you buy the premium insurance we won’t give the car to you . That is a crass way of dealing with a customer .

They declined to give the car to us saying that our flight had arrived the previous day and as we had stayed in a hotel overnight they can decline to give the car to us unless we buy the premium insurance for additional £188 . That is literally holding a customer at ransom as they donot have any other mode of transportation and therefore are forced to take the additional cover .

Pros: rental agent at the beginning was trying to sell his local insurace, by stating that my Slovak driving license is not valid in Spain and I need international driving license. This trick was used to the fellow UK renter group. When he was argued out, he was very annoyed and rude to me.
Cons: At the car return, we spent 10 minutes circuling around the car, the agent was trying to find anything on the car, but all was well captured by us on the pictures so the agent was not able to make any money on us. At the end agent clearly asked me not to rent anymore with Delpaso.

No Amex, no debit card, no cards that are not of the main driver. Complete inflexibility. Then they force you to pay for their ridiculously overpriced insurance (2.5x the price of the actual rental!), because I only had an Amex. And the the killer, they were willing to take that payment with Amex! Disgraceful

When you collect the car there is no damage report, you have to find every mark yourself and photograph it, if you miss it you are responsible....for us it was dark and a black car and trying to photograph a car in the dark and under lights was almost impossible.....easy way to make money......BEWARE

Which will all have been documented to predict. Then an hour long queue in baking heat to finalise the actual hire is disgraceful. I ment to pay 132€ when picking the car up because I already paid 70€ ahead but they charged me for 260€ plus extra 40€ for early dropping off.
