Cons: They charged me for insurance although I booked with excess risk because my Mastercard insurance covers the excess. The staff Said out loud that I have the excess bit next day i Got an email stating I paid for the insurance! I complained but it never got resolved.

And last, there's an extra fuel deposit in addition to the car deposit which was not mentioned in the booking process.

Disgusted with their behaviour. Pros: When I returned the car, I was accused of causing scratches that were there there when I received the car. I was charged €300 for very minor scratches that I didn’t see even though I inspected the car thoroughly. When you pick up a car at car at night from a poorly lit enclosed car park, you will be very lucky to see all minor damage. This damage may not be recorded on the damage report either and you will be charged for it. When I complained , I was told I should have taken their insurance.

Cons: I didn’t like being charged for damage that was on the car when I received it. It can be very difficult to see minor scratches in a poorly lit enclosed car park at night. If you don’t take out their very expensive insurance, expect to pay them in some other way. Also, most staff are very rude. I will never use Goldcar again. There are much better options at Malaga airport.

We were told by tourist info that the parking ticket we incurred could be paid at car rental collection with 50% discount as within 20 days but goldcar refused to accept payment on car return and are to charge full amount. Really poor customer service from majority of goldcar staff who we dealt with. Would not use Goldcar again

So we got a whole different car. When we booked it said fiat Abarth or mini elite, but I got a car twice as big as a fiat 500.
